Imagine deciding on a spontaneous weekend getaway to Margaritaville Resort in Orlando, only to find yourself starring in an episode of "Survivor: Hotel Edition." As co-owners of large businesses in the entertainment and hospitality industry, my business partner and I have a certain expectation of service, one that Margaritaville spectacularly failed to meet. Our adventure began when my business partner arrived at the resort. Anticipating a quick freshen-up and a dive into leisure, he instead walked into a sauna masquerading as a hotel room. The air conditioning was a no-show, much like the management would later prove to be. After two sweltering hours and a series of false assurances, the verdict was dropped: the air conditioning was beyond resurrection. But the plot thickens. An hour of lobby loitering later, swimsuit-clad and suitcase-burdened, an "upgrade" to a cottage was dangled before us like a mirage. This mirage, however, led us not to an oasis but to the wrong cottage, and finally, to a critter-infested cabin in the furthest reaches of the resort. Yes, cockroaches included. You'd think that was the worst of it, but no. The next morningโMother's Day, no lessโpromised redemption with a poolside cabana rental. But alas, placed between two symphonies of sobbing infants, our relaxation was short-lived. Overcast skies left multiple cabanas vacant, yet requests to switch were denied with a flippant "no." (The child that was snarky and talking to us like we were idiots was 5'4" with frosted tips and thought this was hilarious... Remember this for later). Attempts to salvage the day by retreating were met with "no refunds" and the revelation that no manager was available because, surprise, it's Mother's Day. Frustrated, we approached the front desk, where a lack of management was confirmed, only for a supervisor to magically appear after further pressingโThe young man from the pool area (Frosty tip!) with the authority of a hall monitor and the customer service skills to match. As if this weren't enough, the weekend was peppered with rude taxi drivers and a loose dog ensemble, adding a touch of chaos to our already tumultuous stay. By the end, not only was no compensation offered, but the sheer lack of empathy and professionalism also left us resolving to handle our grievances through our banks. In conclusion, my request is simple: I would like to apply for the GENERAL MANAGER position at Margaritaville. It's evident there's no SOP for customer service, so really, how hard could it be? Thank you for a Mother's Day filled with more plot twists than a telenovela, and for an experience that was anything but relaxing.

I visited the Spa during my stay at Margaritaville Resort Orlando and I have to say Maria was the best massage therapist Iโve had in a long time. The massage itself was tailored to my specific needs, and I could feel the tension melting away with each expertly executed technique. Maria showed great professionalism and attentiveness throughout the session, ensuring that I was comfortable and at ease. Great staff, great service. Highly recommended.

Margaritaville resorts never disappoint! The island vibe is fabulous. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Balcony was a great feature and views from the hotel were phenomenal. Pool areas are terrific. The hotel was mostly empty and we had our choice of lounge chairs at the beach pool. This hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and shops and Sunset Walk. Sunset Walk was a fun place to eat dinner, walk around and people watch. There was live music and we even got to see the Radio Margaritaville recording studio.

I highly recommend not staying at this resort. I stayed here for a work conference trip on the location in February of 2024. I noticed at the end of March that on my work expense report the following month that I still had a $250.00 hold on my work credit card. I called the resort who couldn't find my stay because they had misspelled my name. Eventually, they did located it and proceeded to tell me that the $250 was not the security hold, but a fine for smoking in my room. As I am not a smoker and no one else was in my room but myself and their employees I told them this was an error. The manager agreed to take off the charge and I left the call feeling satisfied. As I was doing my April expense report I noticed the charge was still there. I called again and eventually spoke with the front desk manager. She said again that the charge was for smoking and informed me that they have air quality monitors in all of the rooms and the one in mine indicated that air quality changed for a specific time period. I again informed her that I do not smoke and was staying there with a health and wellbeing conference where none of us smoked. Their stance was that the monitors are unable to make mistakes and they somehow do not even have the ability to refund charges they make to credit cards. Also, that I as the customer have no avenue to even dispute the charges and my only option was to have my credit card company dispute the charge as fraud and pursue them with legal means to get their money back. As an employee of a medical health company I was not going to call HR and have them contact our Amex account to dispute smoking charges so was left with no option but to pay for this charge out of my own pocket. If you are considering staying at this resort or hosting a conference, meeting, wedding, etc. know that you or your guests may be hit with false charges by the hotel where they will have no course of action to dispute or recoup the charges aside from convincing their credit card company to sue a huge corporation. Definitely not my idea of a paradise vacation destination...

Scott and the entire team did a fabulous job with our program. Provisions is a great addition to the facility. Retail shop prices were reasonable. Nice selection. The restaurant on the lobby level was clean. Friendly and engaging staff. I had the Mahi Mahi sandwhich and it was very well prepared and delicious. Banquets did a phenomenal job. Front desk and Valet were very welcoming. Great Job Team Margaritaville!

Itโs an absolute no go to ask for money for shade at the pool. The poolside has a few โfirst come first serveโ umbrellas. The rest is upon reservation together with the cabana Basically the resort charges 140$ for sunbeds with shade. Thatโs a No Go

Even though they compensated us.. (for 2 days out of 5) I didnโt realize we would never have air conditioning (not good when itโs 80s and 90s out.) Our room wasnโt set up for 6 people, housekeeping didnโt come when we set the light for them to do so. We werenโt getting any sleep(hot rooms) and doing the Disney parks were bad enough .. Then right outside our room that works on a huge tent early in the morning.. then midnight then again early in the morning. Like we just didnโt count at all. We went in small front pool and realized there was duck poop allover the bottom.. (after we seen ducks floating on it.) The only thing we enjoyed was our pool day and cabana. Other than that we could have stayed at a cheap hotel. There were more rude things than I wrote here.. We were very excited to finally stay her for my granddaughterโs birthday trip but this was truly the worst resort we ever stayed at. And honestly I have never written a C bad review for any thing online.

Booked into the cottages for 9 days as a couple. deposit taken on my credit card. Checked out to find fraud charges on my account from Salty Rim bar 91 dollars. We were called layers and proof they had was for fraudulent 156 dollar for a family with 3 children and not signed even to our cottage. managed to get money back after returning from Georgia. Incompetent staff and rude. Received no apology. CHECK YOUR BILL FROM THIS COMPANY. TAKE PHOTO"S OF YOUR RECEIPTS. CHECK LATER AFTER YOU HAVE LEFT AS THEY STILL CHARGE YOU FOR SOME ELSE'S CHARGES. GOOD LOOK GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK.

My girlfriend and I came for a 3 day vacation not sure what to expect. We can not say enough nice things about this resort. The service across the board was impeccable. Check in was a breeze and the amenities were top notch. Euphoria was the best for breakfast- ask for Crash, Mathias, Ruben and Ednita. They will make your experience amazing. Ej at valet was super helpful and Santiago and jessica and clarissa at beach club pool made our trip effortless. Cant fault this resort for anything except the lack of bars after 10pm!!! Drink enough during the day you wont miss the bars after-hours. Crash at Euphoria will make sure your bottomless mimosas will start your day off right!!

Euphoria Fish House. We enjoyed a delicious meal of Mahi Mahi and had a wonderful waitress who took care of us and provided us with excellent service. Her name was Tokyo. We plan to be back for another delicious meal!

The resort is beautiful. However we rented a cottage with a pool and hot tub. Upon booking I wasnโt advised the heat for both would be extra. Regardless, the pool heater was not working. I called maintenance several times. They sent someone out twice but they had no idea how to fix it. They insisted it was working buy the water was not circulating through the pool. No one really seemed to care. It wasnโt y til the pool maintenance guy came to put chemicals in the pool that we were showed how to over ride the switch and manually turn the pool filter in so the pool could be heated. I addressed this on the day of check out. I told the desk person I was expecting to be compensated for the days we did not have a pool and for the fee for the heat. I was told the manager would contact me when she came in in that day. I never heard a word from anyone. They apparently just donโt care. My other complaint is the resort pool area cannot accommodate the number of guests. We had to get to the pool before it opened to stand in line in order to get lounge chairs. Several people came later in the day that couldnโt get chairs at all. There was no place for them to sit. The restaurant was completely understaffed and we had to wait a very long time to get drinks and food. The servers that were working were great but there just wasnโt enough of them. Gain, the resort pool cannot accommodated the number of people.

My family stayed at cottages by rentyl and our stay was absolutely amazing! The cottage was spacious and gorgeous. The resort itself has plenty of amenities, and the resort is located in a convenient area close to stores, restaurants, and only about 20 minutes from Disney World. The staff was amazing, from the shuttle drivers to pool staff. Kimberly H. at the front desk was so helpful and friendly for check in and check out. My family has found a new vacation spot!

As my husband and I drove up to the resort from a very long day of flying from the west coast and driving through rush hour traffic of Orlando (awful) we arrived at the bright lights of the resort. Our first compliment is to valet staff member Brennan who was so welcoming, so friendly and so helpful in getting us into the resort. I also want to compliment E J of the valet staff in making our daily trips and departure so easy. (Thank you Steven, you have a great staff!) During our entire stay all members of the hotel staff that we dealt with are also to be complimented for outstanding service. In the dining room, we would like to compliment Angel J. for his wonderful and friendly service. In a crowded dining room, he made us feel like we were the only customer in the room. All in all, everyone made us feel happy! The resort itself is beautiful. The lobby of the hotel with the huge flip flop is gorgeous with several seating areas in which to just relax, meet with friends, etc. The room was incredible from the decor, the comfort of the bed, the spa like bathroom, to the amazing balcony with turquoise chairs overlooking the gorgeous palm tree studded pool area. It unfortunately was too cold to go in the pool, but we walked around the grounds and the tropical landscaping is so lush and inviting and also beautifully lit at night. The pool FOR SURE next time! We have stayed at many resorts, but this one is a 12 out of 10. Can't wait to return! Deb and Harry

This was our first time be eating at Euphoria. We're local and will definitely return! Aside from the great food, shrimp and grits, lobster roll, calamari and the special corned beef and cabbage, out server Katelyn was amazing! Friendly, quick and full of great suggestions.

We had a great staycation at this resort! The property had everything we need and the staff was super helpful! Jackie from the front desk was especially considerate and totally set the tone for our stay! Not to mention the lively welcome drink made us feel like vacation instantly began! We encountered so many nice staff members and the property was stunning. Rooms were well decorated, spacious, and clean. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with many food and drink options. Lots of fun to be had!

Worst Check-in Experience Ever. Have been waiting here all afternoon. Cottage rental line has dozens of people it. Everyone not pleased. No units are ready. Come back for 4. Line up some more. Other lines are empty and extra staff sit around staring and socializing. Rooms still not ready at 5. Two staff give us different answers. Room ready but waiting inspection. Then cleaners radio the manager while I stand there and tell him they are still working on it - another 45 minutes. Check in should not be a 3 hour process anywhere with disengaged and unhelpful staff. Not off to a great start. Maybe the staff need to cut back on the Margaritas. Or perhaps the Front Desk Director needs to be working on Sundays.

Booked Margaritaville Orlando because it was recommended by a co-worker. We weren't disappointed. The resort is beautiful, room are clean, food is excellent and the service was amazing from the moment we arrived. The staff provided us with amazing service. The bartenders at the Salty Rim - Frankie, Drew, and Angel always had our drinks ready. Rose served us beverages all day pool side and was awesome and attentive. The food in Euphoria was excellent - we ate dinner there three times - the Filet Mignon was one of the best. Can't forget the amazing bartender Hilario who makes an amazing Espresso Martini. Also don't want to forget about breakfast -- Sandy and Christian were wonderful. We can't wait to book our next vacation.

My girlfriend and I stayed here only for one night to end our vacation, and I must say, itโs an absolute beautiful resort. Incredible staff and service. The room was clean and everything smells so good, especially the main lobby! The entertainment was very good, food was delicious, and sunset walk is amazing as well. Overall 10/10 in my opinion and we will definitely be back!

Stayed in the cottages because we had a larger group with us. The rooms were really nice and all 4 bedrooms had their own shower/bathrooms. We also had the pool in the yard which was nice for the kids after a long day in the park. If it was just was just us and kids we may have been just as happy with the hotel and been more convenient to restaurants and main pool. The resort is huge and cottages can be some distance from main hotel/pool.. The main pool could be one of the best Iโve seen. Has man made beach and itโs huge. Def gets crowded on weekends. Restaurant at hotel was great for breakfast and had live music 7-11pm except Monday. Also right across street is the Promenade which has several restaurants and bars.
