It was average I didn't feel the food was anything special.
Besides that service and ambiance were excellent. Maybe try once and see if you like it
Be the first to ReplyI was pleasantly surprised by my lunch here today.
It was a bit cramped since they only seat downstairs for lunch so I walked in not expecting much but wow. Service was really top notch, they were constantly refilling waters and refolding our napkins as people left the table to use the restroom. What a cute little surprise to come back to. Our server even told us to "buckle up" when our food came because it was so delicious and he was darn tootin right. Highlights were the truffle pizza, truffle ravioli (pack a mint, okay?) and the burrata with avocado and orange I think? But the star of the show was that dang tiramisu. Wowowow. I don't even like tiramisu but this was so creamy and delicious! And the salted caramel ice cream from the sundae... I need a tub of that ASAP! The drinks were nice too. I enjoyed the vie en rose cocktail a lot and their iced americano was perfect with dessert. Until we meet again tiramisu....

The ambiance was nice! When we arrived the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. We got a beautiful table in the middle. The food was excellent. I especially loved the truffle pizza and the truffle ricotta with hazelnuts and honey. The espresso martini was one of the best Ive had. Loved the sceney vibe and beautiful space.
Be the first to ReplyCacio E Pepe is out of this world.
I've tried so many around town and I think this one is in first place. Definitely will be back!

Went here on my birthday and the cacio pepe was so good that ever time someone mention cacio pepe I think of this restaurant because I want everyone to try this here. The garlic bread and oil that came at beginning was also very delicious.

So mid that I'd just say, eh - feel free to go somewhere else, since there are a lot better spots for the same price. It's in a great location in SoHo, and the space is beautiful - they've done a good job with making it feel charming for even brunch. We go the eggplant appetizer to start, which was pretty average; very crispy which was great, but really nothing wowing. The burrata was solid with a really nice olive oil, very high quality there. I got the cacio e pepe as a main, and it's just... fine; really nothing to write home about. For a total bill of ~$45, I don't think it's super worth it, but I'll let you make that final judgment :)
Be the first to ReplyJust another average Italian place in the city.
Beautiful restaurant but food is average. We were asked to leave on a Saturday night immediately after paying our check ($600+) which was tacky. I won't return here. *Note only 3 credit cards can be used per check which was also annoying.

TLDR: A decent spot to stop if you're looking for an easy Italian reservation in Soho. The eggplant appetizer, while featuring a good sauce, fell short due to the almost excessively crunchy and crispy exterior, disrupting the overall texture of the dish. On a brighter note, the burrata was a highlight - fresh and delicious. However, a suggestion would be to pair it with smaller tomatoes to achieve a more balanced flavor. The cherry tomatoes, accompanied by a high-quality olive oil drizzle, were a delightful addition. Unfortunately, the rigatoni was a bit of a letdown. The pasta was overly al dente, and the sauce lacked the depth I was hoping for.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice ambiance and delicious food.
The service had elegant etiquette and very professional waiters.
Be the first to ReplyDefinity get the hype for Mamo.
Some of the best Italian food I've ever had. Upscale, bougie spot and definitely trendy as of late. Beautifully decorated interior giving old school NYC vibes. Great selection of wine. We loved the truffle mushroom pizza, it was rich and absolutely delicious. Rigatoni was a must try as well. Approximately $30/dish, however worth it for a special night out.

Fashionable Italian restaurant with a swanky wine selection and some phenomenal pasta dishes which come together for an expensive but put together night out. $30 a dish. 5/5 stars as a dinner spot.
Be the first to ReplyManaged to snag a last minute reservation on a Saturday
Managed to snag a last minute reservation on a Saturday night for my friend and I. Upon arriving we were greeted by the hostess and taken upstairs to the bar because we were early. We ordered two espresso martinis... frothy and delish! We were quickly seated by a very pleasant matri'd. We started out with the octopus app and eggplant parm.. both were very good. For the entree we shared the Bronzino, truffle fries, roasted eggplant and rigatoni pasta. Everything was delicious! We ended the night with an amazing tiramisu and cappuccino. Everything including service was top notch and the food was amazing. I highly recommend coming here!

Personally think this restaurant is OVERPRICED and OVERRATED. Food is only ok except deep fried artichoke wasn't good at all. Thought we wasted $. Truffle ravioli and pizza tastes like restaurant just put little truffle spread all over cheap pasta and pizza and charged $65 for each dish. Cheese was not good. It had a little cheap processed cheese flavor which was a shock for $65 dish. Ravioli sauce way too thick and didn't have that rich and smooth & creamy flavor which is missing. I don't think this restaurant deserves 4 star but its not 3 star neither. I still gave them .5 credit for their service. Overall, I would not come back to this restaurant at all. Not happy wasting $180 when I could've went to way better restaurants for this price.
Be the first to ReplyCame here for RW dinner and the portions are really good
Came here for RW dinner and the portions are really good for the price ! The service was spectacular, they gave us complimentary birthday shots. The burrata appetizer was amazing, the tomatoes were so sweet ! Their steak is also very delish as well. They offer complimentary bread with side of eggplant dip which was delish! The dessert was a miss for me , too much Nutella not enough ice cream.
Be the first to ReplyIf you are in the mood for truffles - a great choice.
Had the truffle pizza and the truffle pasta with some barbaresco.

Be the first to ReplySo far our best dining experience in NYC.
Food 10/10, cocktails 10/10, service 10/10, also a great ambiance. We had multiple dishes and all were exceptional down to our desert. Our server Lo who's also from SoCal definitely elevated our dining experience, such a cool place to celebrate a birthday like we did. Will be coming back here every time we're in town. Thanks for the experience Lo!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Italian restaurant.
Loved the decor, very chic and elegant. The menu is amazing - everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the pastas, and definitely save room for dessert.Service was super nice as well. I can't wait to come back to try more pasta!

If I could give a ZERO for the hostess I would! She was incredibly RUDE! Did not greet us, had her nose stuck up in the air and brushed us off! She either had a BAD period day or she naturally has a terrible attitude! Everyone else was great and nice but talk about the first experience when you walk in and that's what you get. Don't work in a customer service setting if you're going to act ugly because it ain't cute honey... we're paying customers!
Be the first to ReplyAtmosphere was warm and cozy.
Food wise the pizza was good, had to send it back bcuz the oil level on the pizza would've had me attached to an IV. Didn't have cocktails but the wine choice i chose was good
Be the first to ReplyVery intimate spot.
The pasta was good - I wouldn't say the best I've ever had. I had the one with pistachios and it was a good portion - almost a little too buttery.

Lots of buzz and energy, great menu particularly for truffle fans. Nice little bar upstairs. Good service. Downsides -- a bit tight and crowded and when the table of Jersey girls started shrieking it got more than a little too loud. Happily the staff calmed them down and got the noise level back down to loud. Suggest coming on the late side around 930 to let the crowd thin out as the place actually become more hospitable unless you love all that buzz and noise
Be the first to ReplyService was excellent and all food except halibut was good
Service was excellent and all food except halibut was good but not great. The Halibut was outstanding. The Italian dishes were underwhelming. The service was good but the waiter suggested we not get octopus for all but $60 Truffle pizza. I don't mind upselling but it was a little TOO much during the meal. We ordered the $90 bottle of Chianti and it was ok. The atmosphere was the "to be seen" type and loud with jarring music. Not our favorite restaurant in NYC and a one time event.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic brunch experience.
Well-made cocktails and delicious brunch plates. The famous Truffle Pizza is as good as advertised. The fried artichokes are great as well. The burrata was fairly standard, and the brussel sprouts were a little too sweet for my palate.
Be the first to ReplySuperb.
The location of the restaurant and the buildout are top. The crowd is gorgeous and cool - young and hip. Good music that is not too loud but not too soft. The service is spectacular - the manager, Andrea, personally made sure that our order was being taken, without us even asking. For free, they bring you bread, extra virgin olive oil, and antipasti to start. Delicious food (truffle pasta, truffle pizza). The best tiramisu I have ever had - a ginormous portion for only $10 that can easily feed 4 people. Everything about it is amazing. I recommend you try to dine upstairs for the full experience. While you wait for an upstairs table, hang out at the downstairs bar, which is fun in it's own right. Super hard to get a reservation here, and the truffle dishes will cost you, but it is worth every penny in my opinion if you want to see and be seen on a weekend. The hype is justified, unlike tourist-trap Catch Steak whose owners should be arrested for fraud.
