Mamo Miami Reviews from The Last Year
Very very good Italian
Heard from a friend. We tried it and ended up going there twice in a week. -Ambiance: elegant but simple. Italian themed. -Staff: very courteous. -Prices: not cheap BUT, the portions size and ingredients make up for it. -Burrata: very good -Fried artichoke cacio e pepe: very good -Angel hair pasta with shrimp and pistachios: like my mom's. With PLENTY of shrimp -Cacio e pepe pasta: my GF loved it -Truffled ravioli: worth the price as this is not ravioli with truffles but truffles with ravioli. -Tiramisu: outstanding. Will be back

MAMO Miami - Outstanding Italian restaurant on Brickell Avenue
Open for several months (and based on NYC SoHo Mamo restaurant), MAMO Miami is an excellent addition to the Brickell Avenue (Miami’s business district) dining scene. Food (Italian), ambiance, hospitality, and even adjacent valet parking (approx $8-10 for dinner) are all excellent! On a recent Saturday night we enjoyed: Great cocktails (house Margarita, & Boulevardier) Delicious appetizers (fried artichoke hearts with parmesan; and yummy eggplant parmigiana) Halibut with puttanesca entree - delicious! French fries side dish - served hot & crispy Tagliatelle special - spicy vodka tomato sauce with Italian sausage and burrata - yum! Affogato - MUST TRY DESSERT - soft vanilla house-made ice cream w/ fresh saucy strawberries - YUM!! If you haven’t been, you owe yourself the treat! MAMO Miami is an outstanding Italian restaurant! We can’t wait to return.
Great place enjoyed the food.
Had no issue with it. Would always recommend. Sam was a great waiter he helped us pick the good stuff to eat. And had great service. The ambience is very well lit and really great designs. Love this place.

Recommend making a reservation as this is a very popular spot, otherwise you might be lucky to find a spot at the bar (what I usually do with my boyfriend). We love to pop in for a quick delicious bite or a nice glass of wine. Service is great, bartenders are very attentive. The ambiance is low key and cool.
Wanted to love this place and make it my go-to.
It had the potential to be a great locals and neighborhood spot, especially since it has NY roots with a neighborhood vibe. Sadly, management in the Brickell location doesn't get this concept. Customers are only a series of one-offs to them and the manager had zero concept of "regulars" or "neighborhood people" who will come in multiple times a week and make it their spot and spend quite a bit of money there. During a $500 meal, we stopped the manager as he walked by, excitedly said we loved this place in NY and now live down the street from the Brickell location and are looking for a spot with a neighborhood feel and we'd love to come back with other neighbors. He gave a blank stare and it was clear that this concept wasn't on his radar and he wasn't the type to cultivate that type of atmosphere. Definitely they didn't import someone from NY and put someone in charge with Miami mentality. Nonetheless, we asked him for his card. He said he would go get one. He never came back. When we left we walked by him and it was a blank stare. Yikes - when an interaction with a manager is like that you won't be spending money there ever again. Sadly this isn't the place where you'd meet the team, become a regular, and feel like home. The food was fine. Fine and being blown off by the manager isn't really worth it.

My friend and I dined at Mamo last night and it was my first time. The reviews are great and I was able to get a last minute dinner reservation on a Friday night at the last minute, so I thought I'd lucked out. The restaurant is situated in small plaza and doesn't feel as fancy as the prices indicate. I think maybe they should draw the curtains or something to make the atmosphere feel more plush and intimate. To start we each ordered a cocktail, I had the Il Giardiniere, it wasn't my favorite cocktail ever but it was tasty. For our appetizers, we ordered the Insalata di polpo e ceci and the Come a Capri. The tomatoes and the tapenade they serve with the bread stole the show, the rest was pretty average. For our entrees, we had the Maltagliati verdi alla bolognese and the Vitello alla milanese con insalata. Neither was anything to write home about. For dessert we ordered the Tiramisù and the My Son's Sundae. I consider myself to be a tiramisu expert since it's my favorite and I've had more than I'd like to admit, this was the worst tiramisu I've ever tried. The sundae was by far the best dish we had. The crumble they add is delicious. Overall though, the experience was average at best and I don't see myself going back. If you visit, be sure to keep in mind that they add 20% gratuity for unimpressive service. Ours was a very expensive but just okay meal.
My colleagues and I came here for dinner on a weekday
My colleagues and I came here for dinner on a weekday night, and I had the Capelli d'angelo, gamberi e pistacchi (angel hair, shrimp, pistachios) ($38). It was fantastic, and the flavors were mild but super delicious. By the time I was finishing the pasta, the sauce and pasta had congealed together so I had to use a knife to cut the pasta into bite-sized pieces, but the taste was still very good. We also shared one of their specials appetizers, a burrata with truffle and honey - it was superb. All in all a great experience, and staff was kind too!
Fantastic atmosphere and music.
The food is not only tasty but also presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner. What sets Mamo apart is the exceptional attention to detail and service. Valet parking is available nearby for ease. loved the eggplant parmigiana and the truffle pizza, though it's a bit pricey at $70, it's worth it - one of the best truffle pizzas I've had! However, the pasta was a bit plain compared to the other dishes.

I thought about taking off a star because of $$$$, but it was very good. I went for lunch & was pleasantly surprised that they include fresh Italian bread with a small serving of amazing eggplant and a soppressata (that my friend loved). They also brought olive oil & Balsamic vinegar. We started with the fried artichokes which were very good. Then I had the tagliatelle with pesto, cherry tomatoes & burrata. It was very good & I really enjoyed the perfectly cooked taglatelle - I wonder if it was freshly made. We ended with the creme brulee which had a generous amount of raspberries & strawberries that made it all the better. Service was efficient, professional & everyone was knowledgeable about the menu. I would go again, but it's not inexpensive so I won't go too often :)

While more expensive than I was expecting, the atmosphere, service and food quality were all excellent. I was disappointed that the waiter said they couldn't bring the bread toasted, but even the quality of the olive oil and balsamic vinegar were amazing. Desserts were unique and ok. Best main was the Osso Bucco. I hope I spelled that right.

Really good pasta! I tried my friend gnocchi and I honestly think it was my favorite. The service was fast, food was delicious and loved the decor. Also bathrooms were really cute
A pleasant surprise! A great new brickell restaurant.
We had. An excellent outside table. Inside was full and very noisy. Great service for 10 people from Ramon and his team. The largest veal milanese ever - shared and still too much Everyone left happy. Wines too expensive but final check reasonable. We will be back.
Great diner
Great service, food and atmosphere ! Pasta dessert et pizza were great. Good music well seated Great value !
Very Loudly Music
Very loudly music inside. You don't understand each other when you inside. Food is average. There are much better and more friendly restaurants in Miami

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
