Hookah Party or Restaurant???
When I pulled this restaurant up on my iPhone maps under the name Lost and Found is Seafood Restaurant. That is deceitful, there is no catfish on the menu. The only shrimp not floating in gumbo or included in another dish was six (6) fried shrimp. They had salmon, two kinds of lamb, but no catfish! The food was good, the portions however were not a fair amount for supper, more like a lunch menu sized amount. They did have home cut French fries so at least they got that right. That said they struck out with a trifecta of no-no basic Texas restaurant blunders. #1 there was no Tabasco in the building, Louisiana red hot in the tear open packages. #2 There wasn't a ketchup bottle or dispenser in the building, they had a thumb sized portion in a cup. #3 They had plastic eating utensils. The music inside was so loud we could hardly hear each other talk and it was not to our liking. I did still see valet parking that was not necessary there were plenty of places on the next block behind the restaurant. Why has nobody addressed the hookah party going on outside? The outside seating was packed and 80% of the customers were smoking hookah or something. The clouds of smoke rising above the restaurant looked like Indians sending smoke signals that Custer was coming over the next hill. I felt like I was in a foreign country. I noticed my check was out of balance, but I added a tip and said nothing and later read further down this list and learned they add 20% without telling you. I would say that practice is still in effect so most everyone is overtipping. The fried shrimp had a hard coating of stone ground cornmeal, and the plastic fork was useless as it would not stick through and pick up a shrimp.
Fried ribs were delicious.
Good service and a short wait. I enjoyed the lemonade and salmon also.
The food is good and ambiance is great.
What I dont like is that i was charged 20 dollars more for parking because I have a luxury car and they wont park it in the back. Other than that we had a great time and I look forward to returning.

Food and drink was good, but the staff was snobby and giving us weird looks kinda rude, waiter wouldn't make eye contact and was very short and didn't seem like he wanted to help us. We were very easy and tipped well regardless but as someone else stated hire new staff or train them to do better.

The first time I came here I had a much better experience than I did when I was here Monday night. The hostess was very UNFRIENDLY she had an attitude from the moment we approached her. This place needs to reconsider the workers who work in their establishments because the people who work for you represent the restaurant just as much as the food does. It's not a good look walking into an establishment that does not welcome you! & I won't mention the intoxicated guy who slammed the table on the floor behind me & the poor ladies next to that table got drinks spilled on them and no one came to even apologize this place needs new management or something Oh & the food was just okay. . .

Wanna be valet service when the parking is full so what you gonna park my car on the street I could've done that- 30mins wait time. Seats so close in waiting area the person next to you couldn't whisper to someone else if they tried! Menu is fully overpriced, wasn't even full after. Annoyed during the service, my server kept huddling up with other staff members giggling when she was needed.. people come with children and they don't care to even ensure they're quiet so people can just enjoy the environment. Prolly my worst experience in the years I've lived in Houston. Never again. Zero stars if I could

I highly recommend reservations as this seems to be a top tourist attraction. The ambiance was very lowkey but inviting. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. If you're wanting hookah, book outdoor seating. The service was decent but the food was the star of the show. The collards, salmon bites and loaded fries were a few highlighted items ordered. This place is great for a group or date night. I would recommend

Visited family in Houston and I wanted to get the Houston brunch experience and someone recommended Lost & Found. It did not disappoint! I ordered the fried salmon that's served with Cajun grits and greens. Delicious! My only ehh was the Honey Butter biscuits but I think we got a bad batch. We valeted, which was available all day until closing so we were able to bar hop around midtown after we ate. Joslyn was our server and she was excellent! She remedied the Honey Butter biscuits without us having to ask!

It was by far one of the best brunch experiences I've had in recent months! I recommend you valet your vehicles. We had a party of 6. The wait time was not at all long. Once you enter the establishment you feel like you are entering a new world! We had so much fun from start to finish! Our waitress Jocelyn was friendly and very truthful about some of the menu options. Great music and great drinks equaled a good time. I do recommend the "Golden Cadillac" for a cocktail! All of the food was great! No one in our party was able to find anything to complain about!

I only gave it 2 stars because I respect what Alife is trying to do for the City. However, a groups of friends and I went on a wing night a week or two back. Our waitress and everyone who had to interact with our table had sour attitudes. I almost didn't order food because their attitudes were so stank. I should've listened to my instinct because my wings came out cold I'll never understand CHOOSING to work in the service industry but acting like someone forced you to.

We visited your restaurant on Sunday night to celebrate a birthday and graduation, with guests eho came all the way from California. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. Several items on the menu were unavailable, including the alleged jerk lamb, which lacked any semblance of jerk seasoning. The salmon was overcooked, and the fried shrimp were hard and devoid of flavor. It was a disappointing dining experience overall, especially on such a meaningful occasion. We advise future patrons not to believe the Instagram hype. If you just want to hookah then I guess this might meet your standards. But the food is subpar and the alcoholic beverages were weak. We hope this feedback will encourage the restaurant to improve the quality and availability of your offerings.

Came to visit a friend in Houston and the first place she recommended was Lost & Found so I had very high expectations. I was not disappointed with the food, drinks, and most of all - the VIBE! The music and the people definitely made the experience that much more enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered the Electric Feel, Mexican Mule, and the Tiki Smash. We all loved our drinks & they were so yummy. For food, we ordered the Cajun pasta, fried thigh combo, and the jerk lamb chops. I will say the Cajun pasta was almost a little too spicy for me, but still enjoyable regardless. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the shrimp had a great flavor. Everyone else had nothing but good things to say about their meals. Our server took great care of us and gave the best recommendations. She made sure to ask us questions about what we like so she knew exactly what to recommend. I will say, the parking situation was a bit hectic because it was packed but parking was also pretty pricy. Other than that, we would definitely come back if we are ever in Houston again.

Zero stars!!!! Literally worst experience I have ever had in my life. We got there and was sat by a staff member while waiting for our server. What I'm assuming is the manager came over and asked for us to leave the table because they had other guest that need the table now. Like what? Everyone was rude and had a stank attitude especially the hostess. They need to find a new job that doesn't require customer service. They were super rude. Nothing about this place was welcoming. My first day in Houston and will not be back.

But the SERVICE SUCKS a million times. I will never be back. Our waitress Kay was rude. Only saw her a few times. Never gave us refills. Never came to check on us when food got to us, which some orders were wrong. Charged us gratuity for the crappiest service of my life. Lol. Oh and I emailed the place about this issue. And I haven't heard back. This place is ghetto.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
