Medium food, served slow and in minimum portions.
Expensive, Good but not worth the price or time...

Wanted an after dinner drink and was quickly seated on the Rooftop terrace with great view of the Oslofjord inlet, unfortunately this was the highlight.. Service was extremely slow and uncourteous. Ordered a bottle of champagne for the table, was finally delivered even though the Rooftop was mostly empty. Tried to order a few drinks after the initial bottle, but the drinks never arrived, after waiting 15 min I paid for our initial order and left
Be the first to ReplyThe food and drinks here are amazing.
The scenery is nice too. Definitely recommend the Escape to get a sample of everything. Capped off with an espresso martini, excellent choice for dinner.
Be the first to ReplyThis place was incredible.
Easily one of the best Asian fusion dinners I've ever had, and I've been to just about all of the countries in Asia.We tried the 7 course special or whatever it was called. The Peking Duck with caviar was amazing. The Norwegian crab legs were awesome. The dumplings were better than those I've had in China and Taiwan. We also had about 5 random drinks, told the waiter "keep them coming" and he did. They were all delicious. The mixologist on staff knew their stuff.Easy 5 stars and WOW this was awesome.

By chance we were able to get a table for 11 on a Friday evening at 7.30pm the same day. We even called that afternoon! After we were seated, they took our drink orders. It was a tough decision! There were too many interesting options. The Red Sheng turned out to be a solid choice. My friend ordered the Lychee-Chee but they brought her the Chili-ling. We didn't realize it until the end of the meal. We mentioned it and they brought her the right drink at the end. She knew something was wrong when the drink was spicy and that's not something she would have ordered. For the food, the dumplings came out first. There were two of each type: green, red, orange and black. They explained each one and we had to make choices among us about who wanted to eat what. We also got the scallops, which I think are hard to mess up. They were delicious. The Hakka Noodles were a highlight. The fried rice was underwhelming. The night we were there, they had a live DJ right next to our table which we found pleasant. The music wasn't too loud and set the mood. For a large group, the wait staff was very patient and helpful.
Be the first to ReplyI went to this place since it used to be a good Norwegian
I went to this place since it used to be a good Norwegian restaurant, but it has a new owner and serves Asian fusion. It is designer Asian food adapted for Nordic taste. Food is so so, but very expensive. Portion is like tapas. The quality is fine, nothing unique, no different than any other Asian restaurants. Service was very slow. What caught my attention was rice is purchased separately. A small bowl of white rice, the size of your fist, is 38NOK, or $5!!! Walked away bill for one person is around $80 (without wine/beer).You are paying for the location since it's by the water.
