Le Bilboquet Denver Reviews from The Last Year

My wife and I heard so much about this place, we thought we'd better check out. The atmosphere was not what we were expecting. Service was awesome, had a good waiter that was very responsive and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious, we had two appetizers, split a salad and main course each, and couple drinks each. Though dinner and service were great, the price is over the top.

Le Bilboquet offers some of the best elevated service (and french wine selection) in Colorado. For me it was really the service, my server Heather was managing the entire dining room by herself (10+ tables?) and still made the time to check in when she needed to. I can't wait to come back and try their DJ brunch! It's a vibe; "the South of France transported to Denver." Merci beaucoup!
This place is something - very bougie vibe.
I came in for a quick to-go salad, which was AMAZING but it better have been for $40!!! lol It was a "Treat-myself" day so I let it slide. I am glad I looked in the bag because they forgot the fork and napkins, and when I asked for one they gave me an actual metal fork from the table. They asked for my reservation when the place was pretty much empty which I thought was interesting. The guy next to me at the bar got escargot and they looked yummy. Overall I could tell the rest of the menu is probably great too. hope to maybe try more in the future. Special occasion only.
Fabulous place.
Food is excellent! Everything about this place is special. Great place for brunch, dinner date and to celebrate an occasion. Service makes you feel special.
BEST Saturday DJ brunch in Denver.

We recently dined at this restaurant and found the food and service to be good. But, we discovered a large error on the check and reported it to the manager who said he would investigate the error and get back to me. I had to call back 4x and still have not received a resolution or a call back. In addition, the restaurant charges "taxes" of 8% not the government-regulated 4% in Denver. I understand they may be adding something else into that percentage but they should itemize the charges. That 4% is the least of my concerns considering the error in the check was over $160. Not getting back to the patron is not only rude but disrespectful.

When there were a large group on a Saturday at 1:30 PM.
There was extremely loud music blaring out of the speakers and apparently they're doing a special DJ Saturday where they have somebody playing music with a disco beat from about noon until 3 PM. For the first 90 minutes of our lunch we could hardly hear ourselves speak, and many people asked that be turned down, but they would not do so. Once the music was at normal levels at 3 PM lunch was OK. However, very disappointed with the quality of the mussels. They were chewy and tough. The Cajun chicken was fabulous, people really loved the crab and avocado salad also. Service, however, was slow and spotty. The charcuterie board unimpressive.
I only write reviews for exceptional establishments.
Let's start with the most beautiful patio that rivals anywhere in Europe. When I tell you every dish was perfect that doesn't even fully describe the tasteful experience. If you are looking for exquisite service ( Jennifer was attentive without fawning) Exceptionally clean, memorable this is your place! To sum it up, it is simply dreamy!

We arrived at 5:30 before the restaurant began to fill with dinner guests. We were very warmly welcomed and seated in a great corner spot (round table for two) where we could see the whole dining room and watch as patrons entered. I'm from Denver but was not familiar with the restaurant. My best friend, visiting from the east coast, read a review of the restaurant and was curious about how Chef Sosthène Kaboré brought gentle West African innovations to traditional French cuisine. We were not disappointed at all. The cajun chicken is a tender, succulently spiced chicken breast, prepared with a "proprietary blend" of seasonings according to our waiter. My friend chose this entree, and I tasted it. And I loved it! We both agreed it was probably the best chicken dish we've ever had. I had the branzino -- lightly pan fried and served over rice pilaf and a very satisfying, light curry (Vadouvan) coulis sauce. Before my meal arrived at the table, I thought I wasn't going to be hungry enough to clean my plate -- but there were no leftovers. As an appetizer, I had the organic green salad, which was very nice, but I found the dressing just a tad sweet. My friend had the scallops carpaccio (thinly sliced raw scallops) with a fantastic tamarind ponzo sauce. Another delightful treat! The restaurant is expensive, but the service, presentation and taste of the food make it a wonderful splurge. I'm very glad to know about Le Bilboquet now. I'll be back again as soon as possible.
So glad we ate at Le Bilboquet!

This French gem in Cherry Creek never fails to impress - Bienvenue à Le Bilboquet Denver! While Le Bilboquet's classic dishes like the Le Poulet Cajun & La Bavette remain, Chef has whipped up some exciting new offerings that capture the essence of springtime. Le Bilboquet Denver is located in Cherry Creek. We arrived and were seated in the main dining room. The aesthetic of Le Bilboquet was that of enduring French flair with blue velvet banquettes, unique chandelier lighting, & white linen tablecloths. The restaurant's sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a romantic date night (also great for a celebratory dinner or brunch, or a solo indulgence at the bar). With impeccable service (General Manager Darragh & staff never cease to amaze) and an impressive wine list, Le Bilboquet guarantees a memorable dining experience. Our dinner service began with Veuve Clicquot & caviar - phenomenal start. The acidity and lightness of the champagne cut through the richness of the caviar, cleansing our palates and allowing us to appreciate the subtle flavors of both. The spring 'Les Hors d'oeuvres' included Smoked Salmon and Foie Gras Mousse. The Smoked Salmon was made with salmon, egg yolk, egg white, & capers - light & fresh. The Foie Gras Mousse was topped with grapefruit gelatin and served alongside fig jam & toast - beautiful and complex. The Le Carpaccio de Saint Jacques was made with Scallops, Pearl Pepper, Tamarind Passion Fruit Ponzu & Wonton (the scallop carpaccio was the dish that won the 'People's Choice Award' at Rare Steak Festival 2023). This dish was an explosion of flavors - the natural sweetness of the scallops was complemented by the fruity notes of passion fruit and balanced by the tanginess of the tamarind & ponzu. The wonton crisps provided a delightful crunch in textural contrast. The La Salade d'Endives was made with Endives, Citrus, Almonds, Apricots, & Dijonnaise dressing. The spring 'La Soupe Du Jour' was Cauliflower. This soup was lovely - thick and savory with a bite of salt. For spring cocktails - we had the St Germain Spritz and a Blackberry Sage. The St Germain Spritz was my absolute favorite - a light and refreshing cocktail that's vying for spring's best drink in my book. The Blackberry Sage was characterized by premium black raspberries and a rum base - good and fruit forward. Le Poulet Cajun was made with Cajun Chicken, Beurre Blanc, French Fries & Salad. Le Poulet Cajun is the signature dish that put Le Bilboquet on the map (it's one of the best chicken entrees you can find in Denver). The chicken breast was succulent with a lovely spice rubbed exterior. The Beurre Blanc sauce was luscious & buttery. La Bavette was made with 8 oz Prime Flank Steak, Green Peppercorn Sauce, & French Fries. This steak was unreal; each bite had us coming back for more. The green peppercorn sauce was next level and generously coated the lean, rich steak. For spring 'Les Entrées' we had the Lamb Loin and the Branzino. The Lamb Loin was tender & juicy and was upgraded in taste from the sweet/spicy kick that came from the chutney. The Branzino was served atop a pillowy bed of rice pilaf that was cooked in a mouthwatering French curry. Time for more cocktails! The Plum Lavendar martini was light with a delicate floral aftertaste. The Coffee Amaretto Sour was tangy and refreshing on the forefront with some bourbon on the back. For dessert we had the Crème Brulée and the Vacherine. The Crème Brulée had the thinnest sugar crust with a silky custard base. The Vacherine was gorgeous and pleased in taste and texture - fruity, tart, & sweet.

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Yes unfortunately they are finding more and more ways to lock up sellers money. Sell thru rate, refund rate, limiting withdrawal amounts ler day and per month (which for me are the same number which makes no sense). Lot of sellers leaving as you can see from the lifetime sales not really increasing. Most posts on here are frustrated sellers which is not a recipe for success

I’m sorry to hear about this - I’m a brand new seller on the platform and didn’t realize this was a *thing* - any chance you can point me to the fine print/documentation where this policy is stated (also identifying other caveats like this would be appreciated)?
