Quality of the fish isn't up to par with a 2 Michelin star.
It's perhaps maybe a 1. I wouldn't run here. The rice is also not that great. Not worth the money in my opinion. I do a lot of Michelin and a lot of omakase. Overall, place isn't worth it at all for omakase.

I'm not sure if words can describe this experience, it was phenomenal.Watching Chef Yasunari Okazaki was truly an honor, he was very attentive to check in every few courses to ensure we were satisfied.I had the full omakase experience and it was hands down probably the best dinner I had during my whole trip in Paris.Every course was meticulously crafted and I enjoyed the journey of emotions through each dish. I would highly recommend this 2 star michelin rated restaurant for anyone who appreciates fine dining. It is a must!Big thank you to the staff and chefs for this this wonderful experience.

Great lunch pricing, incredible food, unbelievable atmosphere. Its a fancy spot, so except it to feel a little stuffy, but the atmosphere is actually rather open and calming. The building, Le Doyen, is storied with history-- it's where Napoleon met Josephine, which really lends an incredible gravity and appreciation to the meal. My favorite bite was the turnip amuse bouche astonishingly, it was so complex, crunchy, oily, fresh, herbaceous, creamy and delicious, an 11/10. Every other bite was a 9/10 if not a 10/10. Highly recommend.

Fantastic! Best sushi experience I have had in Europe and the US. Lovingly prepared in front of you. Definitely eat at the counter. That's a large part of the experience. Excellent wine and sake list. Yasunari Okazaki is a master at making sushi.

Made a reservation from the US and told the restaurant we'd be traveling with no US phone number. Restaurant "tried calling to confirm," then gave the table away when we didn't respond to their phone call within 4 hours (because our phones didn't work in Europe). Emailed the restaurant to confirm the reservation only to have the associate rudely respond saying she gave the table away and for us to "come back next week."Terrible service and definitely would not "come back next week" even if I was still in Paris. There are many other good places to eat in Paris with better service. Don't go here.

Best sushi I've ever had in Europe, and on par with my favorites in SF and NYC. Each bite was delicious, with perfect fish, and some had creative extras. There was also a nice interlude of lobster, and then super creative desserts. And we didn't have it, but just cool to see a Yamazaki 25 year!
