The food okay, I got their bolognese and got it piping hot which was great. But, the whole dish itself barely had any flavor and was definitely not worth the price. The ambiance was very nice and elegant looking. Service was also good. But the food itself I would say isn't worth the price.

My favorite Italian restaurant in the Atlanta area I usually go for either the Cioppino or the squid ink pasta and both never disappoint. Service is consistently friendly and the ambiance is quaint

La Travolta has a great menu and a really good vibe! Perfect for going out with friends or a good date spot! Their prices are a bit high but the food is really good, and the service is friendly, knowledgeable! about their dishes and drinks. It's a classy nice restaurant so maybe leave, the young kids at home for this one!

We walked in and we were received with a big smile from the host and had our reserved table ready , the music was amazing, food was tasty and good portions, our waitress was awesome and proactive , she was able to recommend us some dishes and she knew exactly what they had and how they were prepared.

In 2023, we attempted to come here for a Valentines Day dinner. The general manager Gavin was so incredibly rude while seating us we left immediately. Corporate called to apologize and offered a gift card (which I never received) to smooth things over. Have never returned. Too many places in Atlanta to eat pasta without having to deal with rude people.

Great service and food was amazing! We sat outside on the back patio and the atmosphere was great.

Came for dinner and entire dining experience was outstanding. Scottie, our server, was the epitome of hospitality. Had the Negroni, salumi with cheese platter, Nero spaghetti, tiramisu, olive oil cake and cappuccino. Other dishes ordered by my fellow diners were the tagliatelle and saltimbocca, which both looked tasty. Highly recommend and will be back.

Food was very good but our server (pixie cut blonde with glasses) was very unwelcoming and unfriendly and at first made us wait a good while to put our drink order in only to later rush us through dinner (on a Monday night). Would have stayed for a second round of drinks but she made it undesirable to stay much longer - we went elsewhere for dessert and drinks afterwards.
Be the first to ReplyGentleman do not book here for a date.
Our Valentine's Day was ruined due to them blatantly over booking. We arrived on time and there were 10 other partys that had reservations and waiting as well. We were told it could take 45 minutes or more( We never received a text) There was money to hold the table via reservation, there was confirmation of the reservation , and they failed at life. Additionally, I got a message today saying we cancelled. THATS A LIE , we were told they would text us and never received a text. We went else where.
Be the first to ReplyUnfortunately, our Valentine's Day experience and first
Unfortunately, our Valentine's Day experience and first time at La Tovola fell short of expectations. Despite booking reservations weeks in advance for a 9:15 seating, we were left waiting outside until 9:45 due to overbooking. We were told at least 10 tables were ahead of us when we checked in 5 minutes earlier than the reservation. The menu was a four course meal with options to select for each course. We selected all the courses with our waitress after we sat down but we were returned to twice being informed that two of our selections were no longer available. We were confused and disappointed how they could run out of options for a special event's preset and somewhat pricey menu when the restaurant already knows the head count for the special valentines dinner event. There was no sincere apology through out this experience from the staff or manager, and the manager never checked in on us. Even after placing our orders the whole dining and took forever to receive food. We finally left the restaurant at 11:15, having to rush through the last course and dessert, which both courses were boxed to go as we couldn't wait any longer. The food we received was good, but the overall experience was tarnished by the disorganization and poor management this night. I am sure they are great for normal occasions but it seems like they will need to work on hosting special events.
Be the first to ReplyWe truly had an incredible, world-class experience.
They not only were very accommodating of Celiac, providing excellent Gluten Free options, but they also went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. Truly great atmosphere. One last special thanks to Mary Catherine for being an amazing server!

Food is the highlight- awesome whole wheat loaf bread served with olive oil infused with spices; excellent mushroom pasta intensely flavored; fresh, well seasoned Ceasar salad ( charge extra for anchovies); tiramisu a disappointment- swimming in liquor that overcame any other subtle flavors. Place is noisy and a little too crowded for my tastes, and the service was 10-15 minutes slow all night. The food is above average for northern Italian in Atlanta.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic little gem of a restaurant.
Our waiter was so attentive, knowledgeable & kind. He provided excellent suggestions, encouraging both my dinner date & I to try new things and We were not disappointed! The LA FIGATA cocktail was a nice change from my go to old fashioned, we shared the most delightfully delicious burrata and to top it off the scrumptious, earthy, downright joy to eat Tagliolini (mushroom ragu, truffle oil, pecorino romano).. is something to try if you are fortunate enough to dine here!
Be the first to ReplyMy sister and cousin got together to get food and drinks.
When we arrived we parked in the street nearby. We walked in and was greeted. Amanda was our server, and she was great. I ordered the vesper martini and it was a little too strong. I sent it back and had a lemon drop martini which was good. I then got the squid ink pasta and shrimp and it was pretty good. My sister enjoyed her meal and my cousin really enjoyed his spaghetti and meatballs. The bill was affordable and all in all we had a good experience.

Not enough good things to say about this place!!! I hadn't been for years & sooo happy we went back. If I could give more stars, I would
Be the first to ReplyVery comfortable bar with outstanding service.
We ordered one choice frome each courses to share and it was plenty to fill is up. Four stars only because I dining out is so expensive now.
Be the first to ReplyI want to say "Two words: pumpkin risotto.
" But Yelp wants me to write more, so the honey persimmon pistachio burrata was also to die for.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful dining experience; will definitely return.
We were taken care of by Scott; the service was next level. From describing the drinks, detail menu insights and background stories, just excellent all around. Thanks to everyone we countered! Oh, and the food was amazing too!
Be the first to ReplyStopped by for an early Valentine's dinner on Sunday night.
I would highly recommend making a reservation on OpenTable cause they were packed and there is not much space to wait inside. FOOD:Nero Spaghetti ($24) - This was the squid ink pasta but they served it with shrimp instead of calamari. The squid ink pasta was chewy (in a good way) and didn't taste briny. Unfortunately the dish as a whole was incredibly bland. The components individually were great so it was a shame it wasn't seasoned more. Tagliatelle Bolognese ($23) - This dish was almost more bland and just all around not good. It became decent when our server gave us Parmesan cheese to add so we had more flavor to work with. The sauce was more liquidy than I'm used to so maybe that's why it was more bland? SERVICE:The hostess had us wait 10-15 min for a table past our reservation time, but ended up offering an already open table after realizing the other table was not going to empty out fast enough. Our server, Katie, was great. She was super attentive and brought us extra plates, Parmesan, etc. without us even having to ask. Other servers were accommodating as well when we needed new silverware and water.VIBE:Note that the space is small and super compacted with all the tables being very close, people waiting in a tiny entrance, and servers trying to get everywhere. I would recommend going to the patio for a less hectic experience. OVERALL:Probably more of a 2.5, but service was great so 3 seems fitting. I'm not sure if it just was an off day or maybe I personally just don't like the taste, since there are so many good reviews, so I recommend giving it a try to make your own judgements.

Be the first to ReplyQuite a few people in this city tend to rave about this
Quite a few people in this city tend to rave about this restaurant as "one of the best Italian restaurants in town" so, you know your girl had to go see what the hype was all about. When you enter the establishment, the main dining room is very quaint and the bar is very small. Since it was a nice day, we decided to sit outside on the patio. To eat, we ordered the Veal Meatballs as an appetizer, the Squid Ink Spaghetti and Tagliatelle Bolognese for entreés, and the Tiramisu for dessert. I also had the Basil Limonada cocktail to drink. The meatballs were ok, and though I didn't try the Squid Ink Spaghetti, my friend said it was good. I thought that the Tagliatelle Bolognese was alright and my cocktail tastes pretty basic. Our waitress was nice and seemed energetic whenever she stopped by our table so that was cool. Overall, this place was fairly average. It wasn't bad but I wasn't exactly blown away either. I would be open to going back; however, there are definitely much better Italian restaurants that I've been to around town so I wouldn't go out of my way to return to this one.

Food is excellent and staff is very knowledgeable about the menu. They are also very knowledgeable about gluten allergies/intolerances and can guide you through which dishes can be modified so you have a nice experience. They have gluten free pasta which can be subbed into to a couple dishes.
Be the first to ReplyOverall excellent dining experience.
Antipasti ordered included calamari, olives, burrata and Caesar salad. Each of these was the best we have ever had. The olives are whole and pitted, a selection they marinate themselves and were simply delicious. The burrata was light and fluffy, served over an incredible pistachio butter never before experienced. The calamari is not battered but sautéed crispy. The Caesar is their own take with a light tang that adds a welcome twist. Entrees included the mushroom tagliolini and veal saltimbocca. The pasta was creamy without being heavy and the mushroom flavor resonates. The veal was good, a little well done for me but the flavor more than made up for it. The sauces on all dishes really make this restaurant stand apart and make you want to come back. For dessert we had an olive oil cake that you might not order from the name or description but was a surprisingly perfect finish. The cake was dense without being dry and bursting with flavor. This was a birthday treat for a family member and we would definitely take others to experience this gem again. It is a very small restaurant so I highly advise a reservation. They pack in quickly and the noise level is louder than the music playing but not so loud that you can't carry your own conversation. Parking may be tough on your own but they do have a valet in the evening across the street.
Be the first to ReplyThere Baguetti spaghetti and meatballs dish is amazing .
Great atmosphere . You can taste the in house tomato sauce just A1 . Spaghetti and Meatballs must have and I didn't have no cheese and it was delicious.

I think waiters should tell you that when you order the local shrimp special that it only has three shrimp. THREE SHRIMP! The three mussels were so tiny that they weren't worth trying to eat and the cippoline onions were so small and cooked down, they were basically mush. I had to ask three different servers for salt and pepper and when they decided to deliver my cocktail, I had already completed my entree. I told the gorgeous, blue eyed server to return the drink.
