Hong Kong good Dim Sum
We visited prior to the theater and shared 7 different Dim Sum dishes and Bok Choy. The Dim Sum was Hong Kong good and quite fillings. It's a small place and we had to share a table but it all worked out. If you are a Dim Sum fan don't miss this place.

Loved the soup dumplings. We also had the house special flat noodles and they were delicious!! Cash only. Called it in and right on time when I arrived. Don’t worry they also have seating.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Soup Dumplings!
Amazing little place for hand pulled noodles and soup dumplings. Our tour guide recommended it and she was not wrong. Definite must visit for dinner. Tiny place but well worth it for the food.

We ate there in January 2024. The place looks a bit anonymous from the outside, but was a gem. Lovely food, unpretentious atmosphere! We ordered steam buns, spring rolls, noodles with beef and ramen. Everything was very good!
Be the first to ReplyGood food in informal surroundings
Large portions of authentic food. Fireworks of flavours, and lovely homemade noodles. Informal and unsnobbish restaurant.

What an amazing meal at a great price. I went with hubby so we ordered several things and split everything. The handmade noodles with duck were to die for. It is a small restaurant, but service is outstanding and food comes out not only delicious but hot.
Be the first to ReplyCasual, Hot and Delicious!
This was a nice little casual spot for good food after the theater. The food was fresh and delicioous made with high quality ingredients at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the shrimp ramen noodles, duck stir fry noodles, beef and pepper stir fry noodles, and the pan fried dumplings. Fast, friendly service too. Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and drink
Very limited indoor seating so unless at an off time you might need to wait for a table. Lots of delivery or pick up. Fantastic food and drinks.

Awesome soup!!! The room is small but the preparations are top notch. Very good value for money for NY. We ate very well
Be the first to ReplyTasty and comforting food.
This small door on 8th Avenue may even go unnoticed by those passing by on the sidewalk. But the line at the door is a sign that beautiful dishes are served in that small room. We abused the menu. From the delicious Kung Fu Little Steamed Buns Ramen with shrimp, meat and egg, to SPICY BEEF RAMEN, STEAMED BUNS W/ CRAB MEAT and handmade dumpins. We opted for the STEAMED SHRIMP & PORK DUMPLINGS and the STEAMED PORK DUMPLINGS. Everything came out bordering on perfection, with lots of flavor and for a very fair price. It was well worth the almost hour-long wait for a table. We left happy and ready to face more of the New York nightlife.
Be the first to ReplySo glad we found this place.
My daughter was hankering for soup dumplings while on vacation and we didn’t feel like going down to Chinatown. Kung Fu definitely deserves the Michelin guide accolades it has received as everything was delicious- especially the soup dumplings. The place is small so get there early or be prepared to wait. We tried a variety of things and truly enjoyed them all. I’d go here before venturing to Chinatown.
Be the first to ReplyGreat meal and great experience
Went here for dinner as my daughter had been craving soup dumplings and she wasn’t disappointed! Food was excellent and staff were helpful, even other guests helped us choose from the menu. Matcha latte was a hit too.
Be the first to ReplyBest ramen ever
The best ramen I have ever had. Tiny place and open til 10pm which was great. They don’t serve any alcohol. Hand pulled noodles were incredible and the pork dumplings were beautiful.

Delicious Asian dishes, led by its signature “buns” and Ramen noodles. Also, scallion pancakes stuffed with beef. Excellent prices. Small dining room, but worth waiting for a table — or get takeout.

Duck bao. Michelin star. Absolutely one of the Best dim sum items I have ever had. Went to the one on 55th. Great menu. Will be back!!
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely worth a trip!
Delicious food for and even better fresh if you’re able to get a table. Worth the wait! Come off hours. Soup dumplings, pork ramen and beef and chili hand cut noodles were all amazing.

Ate dinner here with wife and daughter and the food and service was superb. Food arrived quickly and was delicious! The little restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere and I couldn’t recommend highly enough.
Be the first to ReplyOrder the SOUP DUMPLINGS
Went here for lunch after a recommendation from our tour guide, and she was not wrong. We ordered the steamed Soup Dumplings, Hand cut noodles with beef & vegetables, pan-fried pork dumplings and spring rolls. EVERYONE agreed that the Soup Dumplings alone were worth the walk to Hell's Kitchen. Be sure to ask the waiter for advice on how to correctly eat the dumplings so you don't get hot soup all over you. We also loved the noodles and pan-fried dumplings.

Awesome fresh noodles and great dumplings. Party of four. Tried scallion pancakes, pork soup dumpling, har gow (shrimp dumplings), won ton soup, chicken ramen soup and the hand pulled stir fry noodle and the Shanghai steamed buns. All dumplings were First rate. Hand pulled noodles were fresh and filling. Portions were very good. We ordered way too much and carried home the leftovers. With tip, the above came to $92. A bit pricey for lunch but we also ordered more than typical as we are from out of town and wanted to sample as much as we could from this previously recognized Michelin star restaurant
Be the first to ReplyMust try, the pork soup buns are excellent!
We waited approximately 15 minutes on a Friday night at 6:30pm to be seated. Service was excellent and all of the dishes we tried were delicious. The pork soup buns and wonton soup buns were both a big hit.
Be the first to ReplyGreat lunch or dinner spot before a Broadway show
A very popular small restaurant. I had a quick ten minute
wait at 12 PM on a Sunday. Friendly service even when
very busy. The food is freshly made and delicious. I had
the pork and shrimp wonton soup which is worth the wait
for it to be prepared. It is not similar to wonton soup
served at most Chinese restaurants... very unique. The
delicate wontons were generously stuffed with a very
flavorful mixture of pork and whole shrimp. Celantro and
bok choy help flavor the light broth. I also enjoyed the
scallion pancakes with sliced beef and the House Special
fried hand cut noodles. I would recommend both dishes.
So many interesting menu items that I'm looking forward
to trying another time. The price is high... $66 lunch for
two, tip included ... but a enjoyable, memorable
experience.
I have been coming here since they opened and the food and service are always consistently good
I love coming to Kung Fu Ramen and have been coming here since they first opened this restaurant several years ago. I first read about it in the Village Voice the first week they opened and have been coming back ever since. They just reopened to indoor dining, and it is so nice that you can eat inside now.
The food and the service are just as good as before the pandemic and it is nice to see that the restaurant has not changed it standards. I can tell that the prices have gone up a bit like everyone else's, but the quality and portion sizes are still consistent.
I started with the Fried Bread just to warm me up. They tasted like a churro but with no filling. They were crisp and warm and that was what I needed to start the meal. I had a bowl of Wonton Soup that was loaded with large wontons and Bok choy in a rich broth. That really warmed me up inside and out. The only problem with it was they put cilantro in it which totally didn't belong in it. The soup was still good.
I also had the Pork Soup Dumplings which are just excellent. They were rich and juicy and just burst in my mouth. Talk about a delight to the senses with flavor and taste.
The service is always friendly and very quick, and the quality of the food is excellent.
I will be back.
Dim sum- yes, Ramen-no
Dim sum- yes, Ramen- no. This tiny place is a mixed bag…the ramen was so plain and flavorless we didn’t eat it. But the steamed dumplings filled with soup- oh my gosh delicious! As is the pancake with beef and the Peking duck bun.
One important…CASH ONlY!!
