Good vibe for date or business dinner.
Food was so so . Love the curry salmon most. They don't provide fire show anymore. So do not expect too much for the the performance
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere.
The DJ played great music I wished there was a dance floor. They had belly dancers for entertainment. Great servers. Food was amazing but pricey.

Guys this place was hot literally so hot I was slipping and sliding also steak is buono I don't really like Indian food so chicken was ehh but that salmon was better then your freeeekin moms. Lemono meeange pie was a bit weird Ioverall I'd give it a three out of ten based on the fact that it was so hot in there
Be the first to ReplyAmbiance was great.
The environment is very lively. I opted for a more quiet area, so indoor seating. Which is unfortunate as the scenery is more picturesque outdoors. The food is descent. Overall the food is not what would bring me back. It would be the staff and the ambiance of wanting and experience. I had two servers helping out my area, they were cordial and attentive. I enjoyed their conversation, it was nice because it was not intrusive but provided an amiable and personable experience.

Seriously. We ordered a variety of food from the menu and the first dish that came out was cold left overs from yesterday. They literally served us cold pakoras; we complained and they sent out freshly made ones that were barely edible. We ordered the paneer dish that the waiter said came with rice but we received only the skewers and we were served a side salad instead, that arrived at the very end of the meal. Huh? The dumplings we ordered were at least edible but lukewarm -- how you get lukewarm dumplings served in a steamer basket is beyond me. It's a beautiful location and setting just avoid if you enjoy food.

Great vibes, food comes out really fast but everything was just a tad overdone, still good though for the atmosphere!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere and entertainment.
A bit busy on the weekends because it's Miami, but good none the less. Food quality and quantity were also reasonable.
Be the first to ReplyI came here for my birthday and it was great.
The dancers are a vibe and makes the ambiance perfect for a birthday. The Indian food was incredible along with the Pad thai. Our server forgot to bring out a couple dishes we ordered so the service could've been a little better.

This is another place that seems to be very popular for no reason. I understand that the environment is beautiful with pools, palm trees, and lights and the hotel itself is very exclusive but that does not make up for the food. Being an Asian fusion restaurant, I would expect there to be good flavor profiles but there was nothing that stood out. Along with this, the portions were insanely small for the amount they cost. The wait was also ridiculously long when there were many empty seats with several servers available. This is a place you come to see one time and never again.

I absolutely love this place! Been here twice the food and drinks for their jazz brunch is amazing
Be the first to ReplyFood wasn't to bad, but for the price the value didn't
Food wasn't to bad, but for the price the value didn't match up. We thought there would be some type of entertainment based on the pictures of people dancing, but that didn't happen on a Saturday night. I had the lobster soup. Tasted ok. Tons of lobster, I'll give them that, but I would have rather had less lobster and better taste. The wife had the duck and she enjoyed it. Good portion. Desert was decent. One big issue I had was I tipped the standard 20% and didn't realize they they added 18% on the bill for 2 people. So my bill ended up being around $360. I had 3 drinks and she had 2. So you can do the math yourself. Had I payed $200 they would have gotten 4 stars. But it's south beach I guess.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing ambience, so romantic.
I went for Sunday Brunch and I recommend! The only problem is, it can get pretty crowded. Don't bring kids, not really kid friendly tbh. All kinds of food. Unlimited champagne. Great service!
Be the first to ReplyI was amazed by the place.
The ambiance, the service, the food, the performance... everything was just excellent We came in without a reservation for dinner on Sunday night and were seated right away. Honestly, I didn't expect but we took a chance. The food was good. We had duck and scallops and some sushi as appetizers. They have sommelier offering assistance with wine, nice touch. There were live performers. For me it is the ambiance. Really enjoyed it. I would recommend the place. It is a hotel so there is valet parking, street parking also.
Be the first to ReplyAmbience is really good.
Vegetarian options are there, best is they have Indian thali and liked the service.
Be the first to ReplyCelebrated a birthday dinner here last night.
They offer an electric menu- a little bit of everything but mostly Asian inspired. There were Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Indian cuisines, all ridiculously overpriced if you ask me. Go for the vibes. The lighting was dim, the location was fancy. If you want to show off for a date or take out a client from out of town for a nice evening, you may find this is just the place. If you want to eat well, feel relaxed, or don't want to break the bank for no good reason, skip it.
Be the first to ReplyRating 4/5 because because on the service.
We got there and had a reservation and we got seated right away (loved that). We sat and had to wait awhile for our server. He wasn't very attentive. The ambiance was beautiful with beautiful performances. We got the pecking duck and made tacos with it (5/5), pad Thai (5/5) , fried rice (3/5) tasted bland, truffle dumplings (5/5), nigiri (5/5) melts in your mouth, the octopus (5/5) and I forgot what the dessert was called (4/5) and a couple of drinks
Be the first to ReplyWOW WOW WOW !! Best brunch it is .
.. from the service to the food , coffee, THE BEST freshly squeezed OJ ever!! must have!!!! champagne flowing , the servers are constantly working hard , picking up plates , making sure we have space, seeing if we need anything at all like bloody marys , cappuccino were so silky and delish tasting .. No lie I had 2 ... the selection of food is spectacular.. ..... A highlight for me was the tiramisu in alittle edible choclate cup ( you can see it in my pics)too many too name.. fish, steak, oysters, shrimp cocktail, asain selections as well as mediteranean options.. Chicken Masala , brekfast items, bacon, waffles , sliders, duck which was so juicy... OMG I am telling you too much to name .. Lets talk about the mojito bar ( strawberry, regular, ) lots to choose from ... and next time having a mimosa , they bring you the freshly squeezed in a little white ceramic pot or cup.. and must be amazing .. saw other guests drinking it ... The vibes are amazing and decor as well ... live music a little loud but nice ambience... the entrance is inside the Hotel in the lobby and it gets packed ... we got there at 11:20 and our time was 11:45 we had to wait but once the time hit , they sat us right away... Also valet avaliable and stamp your ticket with your server you get $10 bucks off.. as you walk through the hallway outside to get to the restaurant from the second valet where we parked they have such a nice hallway to get to the restaurant ... Very nice .. Loved it Loved it so mych but I looked for the next two months no sundays avaliable
Be the first to ReplyOur dinner here was fantastic start to finish.
The service was outstanding; our waiter made solid recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was also very good and pretty reasonably priced for being in The Setai. The Garlic Nann was soooo soft and delicious, and I could have eaten an entire basket with the side of curry. Per the waiter's suggestion, I had the Salmon Panang Curry. The fish was flaky and the curry was mild. My husband also enjoyed the Spicy Beef. One of the best parts of the meal was the raspberry sorbet--such a satisfying end to a great meal. The atmosphere here is sexy and fun, but I didn't think it was pretentious.
Be the first to Replyfood was amazing as always.
highly recommend the pad thai and fried rice! the service was very good, the waiter helped us make some selections and even brought out extra chicken to our table. the restaurant has an awesome vibe and the red lights were on for our dinner which was awesome.
Be the first to ReplyThis review isn't about the food.
The food at the Sunday jazz brunch was great but beware when scheduling for it. Their earliest availability is 11:30 am and you are allowed to sit for 2 hours from sit down. We had a 12:30 pm reservation and requested to sit outside, they said outside was full and since the reservations sat at 11:30 they had two hours... they said they can seat us inside, we unwillingly agreed only for them so say inside was full as well and most likely the next available will be around 1:30 pm... indoor or outdoor...EXCUSE ME? I asked why they allow for 12/12:30 pm reservations if they know they are unable to accommodate for it and the response was comical " it's the owners decision to do it this way" A JOKE- my recommendation is go for the first seating or 1:30 pm or else you'll be waiting around for a long time
Be the first to ReplyGreat but they have a sitting limit.
Very expensive but worth every cent. Live show evey night.

Jaya at the Setai is an absolute gem of a restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys excellent food, an incredible atmosphere, and live music. The Asian fusion cuisine served at Jaya is simply out of this world, and I had the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes that were all delicious. The menu features a wide range of Asian-inspired dishes that are both unique and flavorful, from the salmon truffle to the perfectly cooked sea bass tikka. The flavors and textures of each dish were thoughtfully balanced, and every bite was a sensory delight. The hamachi was fresh and expertly crafted, and the brussel sprout was light and crispy, perfectly complementing the delicate seafood, and I love the touch of the Thali platter along with chicken tikka. What really sets Jaya apart, however, is the live music performances. The music adds an extra layer of excitement to the dining experience, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. The musicians are incredibly talented and their performances were an absolute delight, perfectly blending in with the restaurant's upscale ambiance. The service was also exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made us feel welcomed and at ease. They were happy to guide us through the menu and make recommendations, which helped us choose the perfect dishes for our meal.Overall, Jaya at the Setai is an outstanding restaurant that ticks all the boxes. The Asian fusion cuisine is a feast for the senses, the live music is top-notch, and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience that combines excellent food with live entertainment. It's truly a must-visit destination.
Be the first to ReplyGood but pricey.
The interior is really nice and we loved the tiny tuna tacos. The sushi was ok

The place is STUNNING, has good music! The servers are very nice but take forever to take orders or check in.We each got a variety of things to eat just to be UNDERWHELMED. The gyozas taste like beef pastelitos or empanadas, the fried rice had zero flavor, the chicken tikka tastes like chef boyardee. For the price, we were expecting to be wowed. So the food was the biggest disappointment. The passion martini (I asked for it without chili) was delish & strong! Wouldn't come back unfortunately. The limited menu & poor taste of nearly everything was saddening :(
Be the first to ReplyThey have my favorite old fashioned in all of Miami.
I keep returning for their cocktails, wow, whomever is preparing and coming up with these cocktails knows what he/she is doing. They are perfectly balanced and delicious, this one of the few places in Miami where I go for cocktails due to their quality. Now, onto the food. Amazing presentation and flavor. I went to try their Miami Spice menu and it was definitely a YES for me. Great selection of dishes, perfect portions (for me) all the flavor. They also got a new selection of Yamazaki whisky, so I will be returning. I should add the attention of all of your staff was impeccable. Someone is doing something right in this place, congratulations. Thank you everyone for the amazing experience.
