A real joy
A wonderful place, full of charm, comfortable rooms in which nothing is missing, tasty meals. In short, this place is worth visiting, you will not be disappointed.

Very good hotel I recommend, the staff is top notch. The pillows were a little too hard. The spa was good, it made us want to come back
Be the first to ReplyVery pleasant stay
Very pleasant stay. Smiling and friendly welcome. The swimming pool and sauna allow you to relax. Very efficient room service. Dinners at Bistrot 1954 and Restaurant de la Pointe Saint Mathieu were great. Special dedication to the sommelier who offers wines off the beaten track.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice establishment but……
Very nice establishment in an authentic setting. However, work is to be planned quickly on the small private terraces, as well as in the bathrooms, it is also necessary to change the uncomfortable bed and the plastic floor in the room which emits an unpleasant odor.

When we discover a nugget, we always hesitate between a rave sharing and a selfish desire to keep everything for ourselves... However, with your eyes closed, but all the other senses on alert, go and enjoy this timeless place and the sumptuous cuisine of the young starred chef...
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful site, beautiful hotel
Very nice hotel and the room was very spacious, except for the very small bathroom. 2 downsides: the depth of the pool is 170 cm along its entire length...no place where you can walk when you are less than 1.70 m. Having to order the contents of your breakfast makes the waiting time extremely long, with the hot drink then becoming lukewarm. Otherwise the stay was pleasant.

The rooms are clean, the breakfast is very good, there is a choice, however The reception is cold and not very friendly, we had to wait for the person to accompany English clients to the room however we are given the keys and we do not accompany you we manage with our suitcases 4 days in suites would there be privileged people? We dined at the bistro 2 days in a row, super good and wide choice and 2 evenings at the Michelin-starred restaurant. One evening I had a piece of mussel shells in my dish. I opened my palate. I reported them to the waiter, no excuses and no no longer from the kitchen.

An excellent time in an incredible suite, fantastic swimming pool & sauna access, a gourmet lunch with excellent food and wine pairing and above all a chef who fully deserves her star! Well done Nolwenn!!

Certainly, the setting is magnificent and there are plenty of positive points, but a few inconveniences tarnish our stay at the HPSM. The positive: smiling welcome, the very pretty bar, the very good bistro (the profiterole! hummm) and sea view (Be careful, quite long meal all the same), the large sea view room, the great massage in particular. The negative: we slept very badly, we were very cold (very thin duvet and it was impossible to adjust the heating), we ended up sleeping with our clothes on!! The poor quality of the mattress despite a mattress topper which was of no use. Cleanliness is not a priority, particularly in the corridors, on the stairs and around the swimming pool. Some windows are very dirty. The wood around the jacuzzi is very damaged. One of the jacuzzi headrests did not hold, the screws eaten away by time... In the corridors, why keep old, damaged furniture and mismatched armchairs? A piece of fabric on top to hide the misery... Too bad. Also, from our sea view room to the North West, also a view of a sort of ugly metal structure, the garbage room, green spaces on this side which deserve to be better landscaped and made prettier with a little effort. The direction. Last detail, the sparkling water in the room must have had 2 or 3 bubbles...

Very lovely place with great welcome. We had a beautiful gabled room under the roof with a terrace and a great view. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant. the staff are young and perhaps inexperienced but so eager to please. I loved the spa : special mention for the young ladies working there who gave us relaxing facials and massages. I highly recommend.

We had originally booked and paid for a stay here in July 2020 as part of a driving tour of Brittany but couldn't travel due to Covid, this was the only hotel on our trip that didn't refund the prepaid money, but we understood so when we reorganised our trip for this year we just used the credit towards our stay and there was no problem with it being deducted from the bill. Having read other reviews before we travelled, we were a bit unsure as to what we would find. This hotel has an amazing location, right opposite the lighthouse, but the room we stayed in was poorly ventilated, only by having the door onto the balcony open did we get any fresh air, there weren't any windows that could be opened. I guess this isn't a major problem normally but we were there when the temp hit 40C and as the hotel doesn't have air-conditioning we relied on the door being open to give us some relief from the temperature especially at night, unfortunately when the wind blew which it did for a couple of hours one night we had to shut the door as it was banging and we were worried it would damage something if we left it open. Whoever designed these rooms must have thought air-conditioning was being installed because you would have put in opening windows otherwise. The bar area is very good, staff were friendly and the lady at breakfast was very efficient and well organised. We used the pool and found this to be very clean and big enough to be able to swim a length. I don't think we'll return as on our 3 night stay we visited most of the area, but please think about improving the ventilation of your rooms. We did eat in the restaurant one night and had the set menu and found it good quality and value for money.
Be the first to ReplyBig hotel room!
Lovely hotel and a great location. Right by the sea with a great view of the lighthouse. The room was massive, with chairs, TV and a super comfy bed. The sauna and hot tub wasn't in use during our stay which was a big shame.
Be the first to ReplyGreat views, Clean rooms, Fabulous Breakfast, Great Gourmet Restaurant, Average Bistrot
We stayed for two nights with our dog. All the rooms have a great view; either on the light house or if you take the one with balcony you get the sunset. The rooms have different sizes, so chose what fits you best. The breakfast is fabulous! A small buffet where everything is fresh and tasty. On top you can order from the card and the staff is very friendly and efficient. First evening at the bistrot was average. No Vegetarian meal, even when we asked; staff is very young, friendly but lack experience in the restaurant Second evening at the Gourmet Restaurant. Absolutely worthwhile! The food was delicious and the staff still young, but much more knowledgeable and a "Maitre de service" overseeing everything.
