Hands down my favorite Hot Pot place in sac! No where else can beat Heat Shabu Fair Oaks! Service there is AMAZING! I have never had great service like that in my life. Chou, Bri, and Lili are the best servers ever! They are the main reason why I always come back to heat Shabu fair oaks. The meat they have is the best quality meat I have ever had in my life at a AYCE hot pot spot. Also on Mondays, they also have AYCE appetizer's! I love that because whenever I come in on a Monday, I mainly eat the appetizers. They have a big list of appetizers you can get too. The sake bombs and beers at this place are so good! They also have ALL YOU CAN DRINK for around $55 and it is totally worth it! The ambiance of this place is the best ever! It's bright inside and has a very good vibe! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND everybody to give this place a try and ask for Chou, Bri or Lily!

Today was my first time coming to this location with my significant other, we were impressed with the spicy tonkatsu broth and the bbh broth. The bbh broth has to be one of the better bbh broth we've had. Service was top notch. Our server Kent was very attentive and friendly. Lily wasn't our server but she was awesome. Definitely great experience and recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

I came here for the first time for a good friend's birthday, and it instantly made my must come back list. I really like how chill the atmosphere was and the customer service....... Is S-class. My bartender Lily and the owner Steven made me feel like I was a long time customer that's been coming there for years. My group had the AYCE w/drinks which allowed me to try the Kobe beef , the angus ribeye , and the lamb . The food was so good I got a little angry when my stomach reached max capacity because I want more. Their house sake is really good. It's smooth and has a nice finish. Hands down one of my favorite house sake's. I can't believe this place has been open for a few years and I never had the honor to eat here til now. I am definitely coming back.

I went in to try their new pork belly item and it was so good. When I got there I found out they started their happy hour menu that day, so i loaded up on all their appetizers and their sake + beers. I like how the portion size for the appetizers is like their Monday special so I was able to order a variety . The service was always amazing and attentive. Not sure where a few of the other reviews are complaining about cause I never had a problem. They must be Karen's and Ken's.

My friends and I came in the other day after a long day of snowboarding and this meal definitely hit the spot. Food was amazing tried all of the meats on the AYCE deal, kobe beef was definitely the tables favorite 100% recommend trying this place out. The broths we had chosen were BBH pretty spicy with a good kick, tom yum, miso which was pretty overwhelming and filling, and my favorite tonkotsu. Service was great our server was attentive, friendly and quick! Had a bar with some of the games on which was nice to take a look. Small place I definitely can see this place being very busy during the weekends so try to reserve ahead of time!

This area is in a small plaza next to some iconic stores like the plaza ice cream puffs and temple coffee. This place has definitely made a name for themselves! Parking space is limited so arrive early to get a parking spot! For a small space, the flavors do pack a punch. You are able to select two broths and we opted for the AYCE option. The Tom Yum broth was a rich sour and spicy broth from its instant noodle brand but with a lot less salt. The umami was great! The BBH is a spicy beef broth that was a lot spicier and zestier, great to soak the meats to get amazing flavor! The portions in this place for meats were huge! In most places we'd expect to automatically order within the first 2-3 minutes of receiving our meats, but this took longer. They definitely know how to spoil each guest with the large portions and it was layered on plate very nicely too! Our server was amazing who checked in on us often even tho she was the only server serving 6-8 tables, she's got her game face on! Much love and respect to this place, I can't wait to come back!

Service: is decent. We came in a day that wasn't busy, but everything came out so slow. Noodle and veggies were already out, no chopsticks, no bowls were on the table. We have 5 adults and 1 little baby (6months old) and got charged for gratuity for 6. It wasn't make any sense. We asked the server to clear it out, but she said the baby counted as 6. ????? A little baby who can only drink milk was counted as 1 service??? LMAO! Find a babysitter before you come here to enjoy the food

The service is wonderful, the Tom yum broth is good but the vegetables are not as much. The killer wings taste like something from the freezer and was microwave. The flavor of the wings are alright but wish the chicken wings were more fried wings instead. The hot tea taste okay. Overall, I love the service, our waitress is wonderful.

The funny thing was we didn't get through the first tray orders. Only thing is it would be nice if the bar was available to order drinks while we wait. We had to go a wait in our car.

Finally got my Kobe beef fixed after disappointing service and rejection from the downtown location. FOOD Amazing love the quality, marbling, and the sauce! SERVICE Now I totally understand the lackluster service... short staffed and overworked. There were only 2 servers on the floor. Every order takes 15 minutes because they have 9 tables to cover for the two servers. The staff were busy but friendly when you they take your order... so I kinda blame management for this 3 star! If they were staffed, they'll be friendlier. YAYY for the free ice cream green tea for dessert. AMBIANCE Nice, clean, well maintained but there's no waiting area chairs setup. It was raining and cold so we had to stay and wait inside the car.

The heat shabu on fair oaks is more parking friendly than the one downtown, and I definitely like that it's bigger and you don't have to eat outside. The broth, meat quality, and service is always on point. The only disappointing thing is this location doesn't have udon! Not a big deal as they have ramen and rice but I normally love my udon. The sauce is already delicious, but make sure to spice it up with habanero and then add in some garlic and cilantro. BBH and spicy tonkatsu are a must. They do take reservations for small parties, so definitely call ahead.

Fantastic service, tasty broths, nice meats, and nice ambiance. Since I first gave it a try a few years ago, I've probably been back every few months or so. Good quality and quantity is highly addictive. They have a well rounded selection of proteins, red meat, lamb, pork, muscles, fish balls(don't knock'em toll you try'em). And their tonkatsu is fire. In my opinion this location is better all around than the downtown location. Highly recommend.

We tried the AYCE and were not disappointed. You can get two types of soup broth. We chose the miso soup and spicy tonkatsu soup. Both were flavorful; the miso was really good while the tonkatsu was not super spicy. It was also also good when you mix both broths. As for the meat, both the angus ribeye and kobe beef were super soft and tasted really good. Our server was very accommodating and gave us big portions every order. We were also seated immediately and the service was great. I highly recommend try this shabu place.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
