Horrible place, staff and ripoff by daylight
Please don t visit this place and there are so many better, honest places. Outside they tell you happy hour now, when you pay it s 10++ por a simple Tiger beer, we ordered lobster which they say it weighs so and so without showing, they propose on menu 3 different types/prices and we took their cheapest Local which had no taste at all, my wife took crab black pepper which was under a brown sauce and not to eat, fortunately I looked at prices of wine and didn t dare to order, no dessert nor coffees as we felt to be ripped off, nobody of staff reacted at our deception and with the bill they even counted 2 tissues ...really we don t hesitate if you receive value for money but this place is pure ripp off and sorry to tell and warn people. Fortunately we are not the only ones to be ripped off in this place. The only + point is the view ...
Be the first to ReplyRIP OFF!! Disgusting Lies.
The hostess called "Angie" lied to us as well just like to DeborahC191 at te previous comment. She said it was happy hour, and the first 2 drinks were free, and she gave us 25% discount for the crabs. They pushed us to have vegetables and french fries as well. We paid 326$, only the vegetables were 20$, they gave us only 20% for the crab, and we had to pay for all the drinks. When we mentioned that at the end, all the waitresses came around our table, and the one called Angie said she is not a liar and she did not say that about the discount and the free drinks. It was very embarrassing, and we lost a lot of money we could better spend. We hope she is going to be fired soon, because such a policy is digusting.
Be the first to ReplyHUGE RIP OFF
We were lulled into this restaurant because of the aggressive invite by the hostess outside. "One free drink each, 30% off meal and what she said were the best prices on Boat Quay." She lied. The waitress suggested an assorted appetiser (we were 2 couples) and fried rice with our meal. When the bill came we were charged $75 for a small appetizer plate, $25 for rice that wasn't delivered until after all 4 dinners were served AND for the wet wipes they gave us when we sat down. I wish we had looked at reviews before agreeing to have dinner here. RUN AWAY from this rip off!
Drinks Only
We were enticed in by the waitress outside offering cheap drinks and telling us it was happy hour.
Once seated we td them we just wanted a drink which were duly served and we enjoyed an hour or so sat by the river bank.
We had another drink and the service wasn't the best customer service I've come across.
The menu seemed a bit confusing but we weren't eating and neither was anyone else.
The best thing I can say is the drinks weren't too expensive compared to elsewhere in Singapore but we had time relaxing here
Food OK but staff lacking in Customer Service skills!!
The greeting outside the restaurant to get us in was very pleasant but it went downhill from there ... food order was incomplete and food was served on plastic plates although quality and flavours were ok. The problem came with the bill: we were told all drinks were ‘Happy Hour’ ... but that wasn’t true ... Wine was charged at full price. We argued the case but they would only allow a $10 discount per bottle (although a glass was a $5 discount??) To add insult to injury, we were charged for the towels (which a previous reporter had said) plus tax plus service 😳 Far too expensive especially considering the quality of service and the attitude of the staff. There are plenty of other better places to go.

They give you the prices without service cost and tax but don't mention it anywhere!! When you tell them about it they just become very rude to you and walk off.
