Exceptional Brunch Experience
We booked the brunch here to celebrate another year in Doha and were very happy with our choice. The brunch started with small eats and everything was flavourful and fantastic - the salmon and cucumber salad, charcoal pepper tofu and the mushrooms were very good. My wife was craving dumplings and their unique dim sum options were delicious. The dim sum was served with some good sauces which complimented the dumplings perfectly. Their supreme option was Peking style duck and it was pretty good with the Chinese pancake for wrapping, cucumber, onion and sauce. We were hoping that the skin would be a bit crispier like what they have in Beijing but it still had a decent flavour to it. For the main we chose the Wagyu beef and tiger prawns. The mains were served with some rice and Chinese cabbage which complimented the meal well. We would say the main and the Peking duck were secondary and made us absolutely stuffed but we would do more dim sum and small eats if we had any room. We went with the non-alcoholic option and had some really good drinks that accompanied the food. I really enjoyed the coco passion cocktail and my wife enjoyed the jasmine green tea. The Hakka dessert platter had great flavours and was not too sweet. The restaurant is located at the St. Regis Hotel in Al Qassar. They offer free valet parking, easy access for taxis and the closest metro is Al Qassar which is a little bit of a walk. The restaurant is pretty comfy with lots of enclaves to keep your meal quiet. The service is very attentive here as well and we felt it was worth the high price for brunch.
Chic and Trendy, But Not Entirely Satisfying: An Oriental Dining Experience
This restaurant, part of a globally renowned chain known for its oriental cuisine, certainly stands out as a chic and trendy spot. It's elegant and offers a very interesting food and drink experience, making it a great place to impress friends or colleagues. However, in my opinion, it feels a bit too cold and impersonal. The main issue I’d like to highlight is that despite the significant expense, I often leave feeling unsatisfied with the amount of food. The dishes are very sophisticated, flavorful, and unique, but after visiting three or four times, I have to say I usually leave with a bit of hunger. The portions are quite small, and unless you’re willing to spend a fortune, sharing dishes with friends or colleagues doesn’t quite fill the void. While the menu selection is undeniably chic, the quality doesn’t seem to match the high prices. I frequent this place mainly because some of my more refined colleagues love it, but personally, I wouldn’t recommend it. I wouldn’t choose it for a solo visit or even with close friends for a pleasant evening out. Overall, it’s an incredibly elegant and unique venue, but the experience, in my opinion, is not entirely satisfying.

There is no San Pellegrino water, although it is even available for free at breakfast at the hotel Price approximately $150 per person It would be cheaper if you took a comprehensive set, but it can be taken for at least 2 people. This is the first time I've seen this

Excellent service, food and drinks. One of the best Asian experiences in Doha! Highly recommended for special celebrations or gatherings.

Let's start by saying that the food is very good, we tried their famous Dim Sum, excellent and spectacular in presentation, and the prawns which were always very good, plus a beautiful and excellent dessert at the end. The place is quite expensive and is inside the mammoth St. Regis hotel, unfortunately on street level. Dining outside is not pleasant at all, the place is very anonymous, while the interior is really very beautiful. Bad experience, finally, with the taxi that we asked to call us to return to our hotel; the girl at the reception called us an unofficial taxi which made us spend three times what we had spent on the way there with an official taxi and this is certainly not very professional behaviour.
Asian cuisine wow experience in Doha
Amazing atmosphere and delicious food! The dishes, cocktails are served in a very unique way, allowing additional wow experience. Very tasty!! A bit expensive but the quality meets all expectations. Restaurant has pleasant design, many small things such as music in a lady restroom or dimmed light in main area make a special impression.
Excellent venue and quality dining
Restaurant located adjacent to St Regis hotel (turn left as you enter main gate and restaurant has its own service road/entrance . Valet parking. Very dark Asian style interior but in cooler months the outside terrace is great with pergola style shade. Friday brunch very high quality dishes with generous and super service. Crispy duck salad excellent, dim sum delicately presented and packed full of flavour, as were Wagyu Bao and shrimps with noodles. Elegant desserts with different textures also delicious. One of the more higher end brunches in Doha but well worth the location, service and quality of authentic Asian food. Highly recommended.

This is an old school gem. The staff is great. We think it is one of our top 3 places to go to when we can not think of where to go.
Absolute Must experience when in Doha.
I can only recommend to you everyone visiting Doha to come here. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. The restaurant has a very nice rooftop and outdoor area, but sitting on the inside is also really beautiful featuring sleek Asian seatings. Last but not least the entire team made us feel well looked after.
Excellent Cantonese Chinese food
The Cantonese food was very good. The Peking duck was well prepared and tender. The second course of the duck meat was prepared with XO sauce and asparagus. The meat was still tender and asparagus cooked and still crunchy. We also had the tofu, aubergine and shiitake dish which was nice and not overwhelming. Service was attentive and good.excellent

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
