Good place to eat
It's a great big hall with many food stations to choose from: burgers, fish, italian, indian. Big wooden tables for sharing. Perfect view of the warf. Us being a big group it was perfect as each person could order what they wanted.

The environment was nice, my wife and I took a seat next to the window with a nice view of the boats and we he church in the distance added a nice feeling to the atmosphere. I got fish and chips my wife got a Korean pokebowl, the fish and chips were Altho not crunchy but it was very nice and very nicely seasoned, the chips from it were bussin! Not many of them were crunchy but they made up for it in taste. The pokebowl my wife had she gave it a 3.5/5, was not the best she ever had but it was quite good, jam packed with rice and veggies on top of it the chicken was delicious and wasn’t lacking in quantity either, all in all the portion was balanced and nice for the price, albeit the food was cold when my wife got hers but the fish and chips was warm and made to order. Visually the pokebowl was very pleasing and hunger inducing All in all I would recommend coming here for an evening with your friends or family Atmosphere 5/5 Fish and chips 4/5 Pokebowl 3.5/5 View 4.5/5 Recommend for families, friends, or even a casual date

I took my picky-eater 12-year old daughter here for dinner on the recommendation of an online source. It was perfect. There are a number of places to choose from in this hall from pizza, burgers, Indonesian food, Icelandic food, etc. The place is very clean and has a great atmosphere for casual dining right at the marina. I was super-impressed and will be visiting again if I make it back to Reykjavik. We stayed at the Reykjavik Marina Hotel which is a short walk. Perfect for a quick bite to eat with lots of options. Good service and nice views!

It is a very nice place with a simple and cheerful decoration whose bay windows overlook the port. We sit at large tables and everyone takes what they want from the different "food trucks" present: Italian, Asian, Indian... there was everything on our table, there were 4 of us and we all had a great time . I loved the fish and chips, the breading was incredible and the fish was excellent!! It costs 3000ISK per dish, a little over €20.

The best fish and chips I've ever had in a brilliant food hall. I was very jealous of the amazing seafood platter delivered to the next table. There really is something for everyone in a great repurposed building with fab views of the harbour.
Be the first to ReplyPoor Indian food
We had a very poor Indian here. The paneer wasn’t paneer it was more of a halloumi type cheese very salty in a tomato sauce. We have a lot of Indian restaurants in the UK and I cook a lot at home and this was just so tasteless

I had one of the best salmon I have ever had at Trúnó in Grandi Food Hall. This food hall is located in the old harbor in a facility previously used for fish processing. The view from the Food hall over the old harbor is incredible. Just outside our windows, a boat was landing fresh fish. There was also a window where we could see the Iceland Fish Auction House.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food - plenty to choose from
We visited here twice during our stay and both times ate from the same vendor; Fjárhúsið (The Sheep House) and it was delicious. There was plenty of different foods to choose from - fish and chips, burgers, Italian, Indonesian, Korean and Asian as well ad various beverages. There were plenty of seats, mainly large benches for sharing, but it was not that busy when we visited so there was plenty of space. You got lovely views of the harbour from the floor to ceiling windows.

Found this while waking around. So happy we tried it. The variety is amazing and everything we ordered was good.
Be the first to ReplyGreat choice at this food hall
Great choice of food here: had just visited Fly over Iceland at the port and this food hall is just a few minutes walk away. We both had the Icelandic cod which were 2 big chunky pieces each on our plate, nice chips and salad we really enjoyed it. As Brits we found eating out very expensive in Iceland so stuck to the casual eateries like this food hall: they had oriental dishes, Indian, pizza, pasta and burgers as well as fish so plenty of choice. Can highly recommend
Be the first to ReplyHorrible Indian food
ANNAPURNA: I came here for Some Butter chicken and was wery excited,I were so disappointed when it came almost cold and so sweet with almost no flavor. That’s not what I call Indian food,The rice were also in clumps and you could feel that it had been made a while ago and reheated. Not coming again.Wery disappointed. The chicken were grayish and I was scared to eat it.

Small number of options, we had Indian food and it was delicious! It's nice to sit outside and look at the harbor. Fun stop to do
Be the first to ReplyLovely Variety
Good, warm food, close to our hotel (grandi by centerhotels), with a view of the harbour. Lots of variety, that we came twice. All the staff were helpful, the hall was clean, tidy, and both times we were able to get seats.
Be the first to ReplyHandy food option
This was 5 minutes walk away from our hotel (Hotel Grandi) so was a very handy easy food option at the end of a busy day exploring. Different food options available, including pasta, burgers, southern fried chicken plus fish and shops.
Be the first to ReplyDelish variety in Grandi / Old Harbor neighborhood
This was a great option in an up-coming neighborhood a short walk from out hotel. Options are available for all palettes and diets. We highly recommend the Korean bowls and tacos. Also the indoor food truck—especially for happy hour beer!

Nice food hall. Lots of different cuisines - we went for the classic Icelandic dishes though! Lots of gluten free options, vegetarian and vegan too. Good view over the harbour!
Be the first to ReplyNice place to eat: delicious, fast and clean
If you haven't been in a food hall before you should absolutely visit this place. There are tables in the middle of the hall and each of you can get food from the different restaurants there. We ate lamp and Indonesian food. The restaurants are very fast, the food is delicious and the tables are clean. A nice place to eat especially if you and your company have different taste in food.
Be the first to ReplyGood place to get spaghetti bolognese!
The food hall was a great choice for me and my partner as she is a veggie. We was able to get food she liked as well as me. I had a burger from the pub pop-up and spaghetti bolognese from the italian. We kept coming back here for lunch and free water on the tables was a nice touch. I also liked the fact we could visit the fish market area within the hall and see fish being processed although that area was a little bit smelly. We enjoyed our food at this hall and can't wait to return.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best meals we had In Iceland!
I stumbled across this place through the trusty Trip Advisor app. It’s in a part of town we hadn’t visited before (near Whales of Iceland and Aurora Reykjavik). so we are unlikely to have found it otherwise. It’s a venue with lots of different street food, so informal with shared long benches for seating and some individual seats facing the large windows either side of the building. We sat on seats facing the harbour as night fell, which was a lovely view. We went to Fjarhusid, which served a variety of meat dishes. My husband and I shared two lamb skewers (which came with a salad garnish) and an additional salad. The food was so fresh and delicious. The lamb was moist with very little fat. It was just wonderful. Like I said, it’s an informal setting but one of the tastiest meals we had during our stay. Would recommend!
Be the first to ReplyFast food but restaurant quality
Great choice of food. The fish couldn’t be any fresher and it was superbly done - crunchy batter on the outside and creamy plaice within. Perfect place for a quick and delicious meal.
Be the first to ReplyGood harbor lunch spot
Our tour bus dropped us here after visiting the church! Good harbor lunch spot with seven food trucks: Icelandic food, Fish & Chips, Korean, Pizza … you surely can find one that you like!

Incredibly curteous and talented staff. The food was perfectly spicy at medium. Not losing flavour. And the selection was great

Fantastic food hall on the harbour in Reykjavik.
We came here after the Fly over experience as it’s right across the road.
I chose Korean street food, oumph tacos and Korean fried cauliflower - absolutely delicious!
My partner got a fish burger from the little fish and chips stand which he said was delicious and very good quality fish. Had a few beers too, lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Highly recommend this place.
Great choice
We stopped hear after our whale watching trip and was not disappointed. 7 street food truck all under one roof. Took a while to choose but settled on pizza and Korean tacos. Price was about £10 each but food was cooked to order and delicious. A bit away from the centre of town next to the harbour but definitely worth it
Be the first to ReplyFantastic food hall
I'm glad I did some research before our trip otherwise I may not have found this place; a collection of street food stalls surround communal central dining area. We had Korean burgers but it all looked fantastic - including pizza, pasta, fish and chips, Indian, something for every taste really. Highly recommended for a trip away from the centre of town.
