Totally love the beef and the service
The beef wine and service was excellent. Totally love the ambience and their recommendations. The service staff was fantastic. They didn’t rush us into the order and totally made the dinner pleasant

I misread the date and time of my reservation to Gemma under the Dining City programme and arrived at Gemma on the wrong date. Rather than turn me away and ask me to return the next day (actual day of my booking), Kavitha, the front desk staff, went out of her way and worked with the chef to accommodate my partner and I for dinner. We also pleasantly surprised by two complimentary courses by the chef, a starter and an additional dessert. Rather than the 4-course which was in the set menu, we were served 6-courses instead. The food was great and the steak was cooked perfectly! Will definitely return to Gemma for its great service by all the staff we interacted with and the fabulous food! Oh yes the ambience at the restaurant was great as well!

We loved the open bar and the (slightly) see through show kitchen, as well as the lovely wide windows along one side which let in loads of natural light. Foodwise, it was generally good. The amuse bouche was pretty interesting, and cracked easily like an egg but was flavourful. The sourdough bread also went well with the herbed butter, which was well presented. The crayfish starter was nice, with a hint of smoked paprika. The mains of Futari Wagyu skirt was grilled nicely, but the meat was a little tough. We liked the sweet potato pave or layers, which were delicate but delish. My wife loved the dessert of hazlenut praline, with the aroma and taste of Hibiki Harmony, while I liked the sweet and sour notes of the yuzu in the petit fours. Service was friendly and quick as well, and the dishes were plated well.

We ordered the sharing menu for two. Appetizer was yellowfin tuna tartare and duck prosciutto. The tartare was refreshing and the flavor of the duck was enhanced with the cassis jam. There were two pastas: eggplant tortellini and “ Monograno Felicetti’ spaghetti. Both were flavorful, however, I found the tortellini more “special” as it had scampi and zucchini which gave it really interesting textures. The stars were black angus tenderloin and Jac wagyu - melt in mouth and robust! We opted for the meat to be cooked medium and both were well executed. I found the triple cooked potato chips soft on inside, crispy on outside, but rather oily for my liking. The dessert, chocolate and truffle gelato, was divine and a wonderful way to end a memorable meal. Thank you, Chef and service team!

Impeccable service where we felt well taken cared of by everyone from the hostess to waiter.
Food was great in quality and presentation. The caviar , white asparagus and steak were sumptuous and we will be back again
Wine recommendation was suited for the event where we enjoyed a bottle of brunello from pre diner cocktail all the way to desert
Always a delightful experience!
Although the restaurant has been revamped and rebranded, the food is still outstanding. Wine pairing dinner was perfect. Amuse-bouche was beef tartare, starter was juicy cured tuna followed by burrata ravioli with eggplant. Mains were perfectly grilled duck breast and 45-day dry-aged sirloin steak. Completed the excellent evening with apple galette desert.

My wife and I have been here twice in one week. the first time was during Restaurant Week which we like to do to try new places before we commit to spending a large amount of money for an unknown entity. We were not disappointed and returned the following week for their Easter free flow champagne lunch menu.
Tasty and creative the dishes do not disappoint. The entire staff is friendly and inviting but we would like to give kudos to both the Manager, Jess and the Asst Manager, Kush. They made our times there memorable.
Looking forward to a return visit.

Was a really great experience, started really well with amazing bread and butter, all food was decent and really nicely presented. Leave room for dessert, the souffle was excellent. The star of the evening was kush though, really great service, very personable and attentive, We were the last ones to leave actually and felt no pressure to rush and kush ensured that we did not ever have to ask for anything as it was there even before it crossed our minds. Thanks for such great service, will be back just for that alone. 😁

Went there for lunch on Sunday Jan 2021. We chose one set menu and one set of ala carte so we could mix and match. Nice choice of food.
Excellent cooking, nice charcoal grilling, great task, decent portions. Beef and lamb were excellent.
Service was superb also, friendly, funny, fast.
Compared to a international brand name steak house in Marina Bay Sands, Gemma was way ahead in food quality and service; at a lower price. So highly recommended, and if you can see my reviews, we have been to many restaurants.

This new steakhouse offers good service and equally good food to be enjoyed in a nice ambience. Impressive indeed.

Charming service on a Sunday lunchtime. Good tea-smoked salmon dish but the swordfish was a disappointment. The fish looked and tasted dull and the caponata was slightly bitter. For the steaks, I recommend you go as a larger group. There was almost nothing available on the bone under 1kg. We had an Aussie sirloin which was cooked and served beautifully medium rare. Broccoli and light, thick and crispy triple-cooked chips were both done well. The souffle and roasted figs were both very accomplished.
With a $120 bottle of wine (which was a very nice St Emilion at the cheapest end of their list) the bill was about S$550. That ain't cheap and, although we enjoyed the meal, there is better value in Singapore. We had lunch at Jaan a few days later. Multiple courses of lovely autumnal modern British food from Kirk Westaway with a much better bottle of wine (twice the price of our bottle at Gemma) came out slightly cheaper.
