Food was impeccable. Server was incredibly attentive, funny and kind. Ambiance was beautiful and quiet. CAPPUCCINO MARTINI - literally the BEST I've ever tasted, ordered 2 LOBSTER BISQUE - delicious FILET - cooked to perfection - added the blue cheese crust AND Marchand De Vin, soooo good! HOMEMADE MATCHSTICK FRIES - omg I could eat these every day WILD MUSHROOMS - flavorful and a yummy addition MASHED POTATOES - yummy, BUT was our only "hmmm, that's odd" portion b/c we added lobster, thinking it would be some little chunks of lobster in the potatoes, however it was literally just some of the lobster bisque poured over the potatoes....and we'd just had the bisque....and it didn't really have any visible pieces of lobster. Still tasty and not knocking points for it, just maybe needs a better description b/c we would have ordered something else. CREME BRULEE - perfect and absolutely delicious. We were so happy to see they offered it! We came a few months ago and went to Gordon Ramsey's Hells Kitchen and were pretty disappointed with the overall experience and ambiance there. I would recommend Friday's Station 100x over Hells Kitchen and Chart House too! Only recommendations would be the mashed potato note above and when I booked the reservation online I did note that it was an anniversary dinner, but that was never acknowledged until we let it slip to the server and he congratulated us multiple times. Being a high end restaurant, it'd be nice at check in to have a tiny acknowledgement is all. Again, didn't detract from the 5 stars :) We'll be back!

Absolutely to die for! We come here every year on our annual family vacation to Tahoe. The food is delicious and worth the price, in our opinion. They accommodated my daughter when the only thing she would eat at 6 was spaghetti and marinara sauce, even though it wasn't on the menu. You can see the lake from every table, although the window dining is the best. It is very romantic with low lighting and perfect sunset views. The service is also amazing. We've had Tony multiple times we've been, and on our first visit he introduced to a moonrise over the lake. We've only ever had one negative experience on the night my husband and I got engaged, where the staff forgot about us and we waited 45 mins to order drinks and food. However the staff made up for in spades! My husband and I call it Our Steakhouse.

Friday's Station located on the 18th floor of Harrah's in Lake Tahoe has been a go to for many years! The menu has all the things a steakhouse and seafood house should have!! The iconic Snoopy Salad with shrimp, crab meat, avocado is always a great starter! Service is top notch and always checking on your table! The view is beautiful if you come at sunset and request a window table!

I have been here 4 times and each time has been a little more disappointing. The first time it was amazing. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and everything was perfect. A little pricey but worth it. The second time was still pretty good but the service was not as good. We were celebrating a birthday and so was the table next to us. They got a free desert and we didn't. Not sure why but it felt wrong. Not a huge deal. Every time I go I get the pre fixe special with the filet. Well the last time I cane the filet was not an option but they had some medallions made from filet and it was very good so it was acceptable. Then this last time I go and was going to do the same again and now the only steak is a prime rib which I reluctantly ordered medium rare. After they served my first course they told me the prime rib was only available medium. I asked if I could sub for a filet which is what I really wanted anyway. No was the answer to that. So I just accepted it feeling like I had no other option. It was ok but not what I wanted. The service was very good so no issues there. Just pretty disappointed that I can't get what they sold me on in the first place. I probably won't return.

Been here a couple of times and it's definitely the best dining in Lake Tahoe! I had the Prime rib, bake potato and a side of creamed spinach. Previously I had the ribeye and both times they were perfectly prepared as I requested. Had Tony on one occasion and Myla on another. The service here is top notch! The food is exquisite and the views are phenomenal. Would give a 10 out of 10 stars but the max is five. We will definitely be back!

This is supposedly the best restaurant in Harrah's Lake Tahoe. Wais visiting from out of town celebrating a birthday dinner with someone. Naturally, I thought "fine dining" would be a great option. There is a reason the word fine as in quotations though. When you walk up to the restaurant , there's a menu you can view before you get seated. We checked it out. Prices are typical for a steakhouse. No issue there. Some of the seating has views of the lake. Overall, nice ambiance. The hostess was very nice and seated us right away, they didn't seem too busy for a Friday night. Our server/waiter was beyond friendly. His name slipped my mind, but he was courteous & attentive. I ordered the 35 day aged New York steak with a couple sides. I asked for medium well. Once the steak arrived & I cut into it - it was nowhere near medium well. Not even medium. This was more somewhere between rare & medium. Hey, to each their own. Some like it like that. I, personally don't. Steak was cold on the inside, discolored & gummy. Kind of gross to be really honest. I'm guessing maybe it was a bad cut. I was thinking not to say anything, but at that price point & it being a "fine dining" establishment, I don't think it's asking too much to have my steak the way I like it. I did end up mentioning it to the server & he took it back. Once he brought it back out, it was beyond well done. Almost burnt to a crisp. Not even edible at that point. I'm guessing, maybe I offended the chef? But, how does a chef at an upscale steakhouse, not know how to cook a steak to the liking of the customer? Be that raw, well done or anything in between. Needless to say, at that point, we moved on from the steak & ended up having a little bit of the most expensive sides and complementary bread I've had and decided to leave. All in all, I'd recommend another restaurant if you're visiting Lake Tahoe, and looking for a fine dining experience. I'm sure there are other options available at any of the many casinos/hotels in the Lake Tahoe area. A wise man once said that there's nothing worse than paying for bad food. I completely agree.

I was dining alone and was seated next to a window with a great view, and I had one of the best waiters I have had in many years. Ian was my waiter, who had great personality, was very attentive, and made sure I was taken care of all night. I was having a light dinner and Ian suggested perfect choices for shrimp and wine which made my dining wonderful. I would come back to Friday's again because of the delicious food and 'because of Ian'. Thank you Ian for making me feel I was not eating alone and being a great representative of Harrah's. Friday's needs more servers like Ian.

Absolutely delightful and delicious experience. We went there without any expectations and were presently surprised by an outstanding selection and quality of food. Everything from the appetizers, to stakes, to dessert were perfectly prepared, served, and were of highest quality. The service was great and friendly. The server knew the menu, was easy to talk to and spent time to answer questions, without rushing. Overall, great experience and highly recommend to people visiting South Lake Tahoe and looking for a great steak

My fiance and I were vacationing in Tahoe with some friends and we decided to break away to have a date night here. When we made reservations we noted that it was for a date night and they sat us down at a table that was next to the window and what a view! It really set the tone for our night and made it so special. I wish I remembered our waiter's name because he was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of all night. The customer service was excellent! My fiance and I both started off with some martinis and we had a really nice time sipping on our drinks while watching the sunset. For starters we each ordered the lobster bisque. The creaminess and richness of the lobster pieces was really soothing on a cold night. I thought it would come out as a cup, but to my surprise it was a bowl of soup. We probably could've just ordered one and shared that bowl of soup between the two of us. For entree, my fiancé ordered from the prix fixe menu and for additional charge he got the cowboy steak, which was a really good deal. For a la carte the cowboy steak is $140, but the prix fixe menu is $100 and an additional $50 for the cowboy steak. So for $10 more you get an appetizer and dessert essentially. Now that's a steal! I got to try some of his steak and it was so delicious and prepared well. We went to Hell's Kitchen 2 days prior where he had ordered a steak and let me tell you...he preferred the cowboy steak. It was that good! I myself ended up ordering 2 appetizers as my entree - tuna tartare and half a dozen of oysters. The tuna tartare sat in a bed of thick soy sauce and it was overpowering and I couldn't really enjoy it. I told my waiter this and he immediately took it back and took it off the bill. If it wasn't for the too much sauce it would've been a really good dish. But I still give this place a 4 star because of the excellent customer service. My waiter felt bad that he offered to bring me some shrimp and crab, but unfortunately I was already full and knew I couldn't eat anymore or else I would've taken up on his offer. To end the night my fiance had the chocolate cake from his prix fixe menu and it was a perfect and decadent sized cake to end the night. This was definitely an experience and hope to be back one day to try their other dishes.

Been going here from the days it was "The Summit" when restaurant owner Dale Dodd was a waiter here and Harrah still owned it. Then Holiday Inn bought Harrah's and the Summit went downhill. The Summit was THE BEST restaurant I had ever been to. This was back in the late 60's and early 70's when Friday's was just a coffee shop on the first floor. I understand that things have gotten way too expensive but now this place is no longer worth the money. The food is below average so there is no point in eating here anymore. Basically it is now just another Caesar's rip off place. And now Caesar's also owns Harvey's across the street, so the once great, Sage Room, is the same Rip-Off food as Friday's. Another fine dining place bites the dusk. Sad
Way over priced for what you get
We have been here before.. before the pandemic. And wow, so much has changed. The service was still good but not great. The prices are astonishing high. I had the filet and king crab legs. Which was only one leg. It was $140 for the plate. Way to expensive. I didn't want to order it, but my fiance insisted because he knows how much I enjoy King crab. However, it was lacking flavor. No sweetness at all. I had to drown it in butter. And I was shocked that it was so expensive and it didn't come with any sides.... not even cheap broccoli or green beans. Sides were extra. I was not impressed and will not come again... defantily not for those prices.

Friday's Station boasts stunning Tahoe vistas, but unfortunately, our recent experience fell short of the scenery's splendor. While the promise of delicious steaks and seafood enticed us in, the execution left us wanting more. The biggest disappointment? Overcooked meats. My medium-rare filet mignon arrived closer to well-done, losing its juicy tenderness. My partner's seafood medley also suffered from uneven cooking, leaving some pieces rubbery and others tepid. This wasn't a minor misfire; it significantly impacted our enjoyment of the meal. Adding to the letdown was the service. While friendly, it lacked attentiveness. Long wait times between courses and difficulty flagging down our server hampered the flow of the evening. We felt more like afterthoughts than valued guests. It's a shame, as Friday's Station has undeniable potential. The atmosphere is undeniably charming, and the menu offers enticing options. But without properly cooked food and attentive service, even the most breathtaking views can't salvage the experience.

Friday's used to be one the first floor and now occupies the old Summit space on the 18th floor. We had a few different appetizers: Oysters Tuna Ahi Artichoke Escargot House salad Salmon with scallops Most everything was excellent. Salmon was just good (just a tad dry) scallops excellent. Bread with butter great too! Our server Anthony was very efficient made the experience even better.

Amazing service, the catering is top notch and the food is to die for, everyone loves the view over the lake and the atmosphere is incredibly inviting. Definitely a must have experience while in Tahoe!

We enjoyed the ambiance, the service and the views for sure. My husband loved the salmon with scallops. I loved the blackened shrimp but was so/so on the petite filet with it (cooked perfectly for medium rare but unfortunately it had no real flavor - so either order a sauce or add a lot of pepper and salt to it when it arrives). Definitely an expensive dinner so be prepared for that (e.g. my petite fillet with blackened shrimp was $82 with NO sides).

The sauce overpowers the escargot, but nonetheless tasty. We got the dozen oysters, crab and shrimp cake, escargot, baked onion soup, seafood broil, slow roasted prime rib, cowboy steak, and the mac n cheese ! The environment was dim and romantic. Great date place with a nice view above Tahoe. For an upscale restaurant; I would say the service was about average. We can tell our server was new as he would ask for help from other servers, but he kept saying "I don't know" and proceeded to not help us when we asked questions throughout the night. Overall, I loved my experience here. The portion sizes are great and there's a variety of dishes / sides to order from.

This is one of the best perks about coming here outside of the early evening view of the lake which is also fantastic. I think the thing that got me wound up at this higher end dining establishment was seeing a little dog walking with its owner to a table and then hearing the dog barking during our whole dinner and "yipping" at people as they walked by the table. I wondered why the dog owner thought this was acceptable and why the restaurant didn't check that one at the host stand stat before they were sat!? Also, I wondered why Fridays doesn't check the dress code at the door!? I saw a lot of people wearing super casual pajama like outfits that you wouldn't find in a high-end restaurant like Fridays, so that kind of made me feel like my experience and the prices for the menu items didn't match up. Those were my only two gripes that the clientele needs to dress appropriately for dinner. Lol.

The restaurant is mean to go during daytime hours if you have not been there I am guessing since the walls are windows. Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
