Best meal in Baja California.
We emailed for reservations the night prior, but didn’t get a response until we already had committed to the drive over from Cabo. (Got the email back that afternoon). We were seated without a reservation for lunch on a Monday. Handcrafted high quality cocktails. Best Margaritas we had in our week in Cabo. The focaccia was incredible. Light. Flavorful. Perfect. My wife had the pizza. Thin crispy crust fresh toppings. Delightful. I had the ham and cheese omelet. Wonderful. Best meal this week. Well worth the visit.
Be the first to ReplyMagical gardens and setting, exquisite food and drinks.
This place is magical. The food and service are extraordinary. But, the setting is even better. The gardens are lovely. The farm is impressive. This would be good place to bring kids for the farm tour or for a special occasion for couples. The small stores are pricey, but very well curated and unique. We went for lunch. I imagine dinner and brunch might be better. ADVANCED reservations are a must.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Location for a Special Birthday Lunch!
Four of us girlfriends from junior high and high school met in Cabo to celebrate our 2024 birthdays and went here for lunch. It’s a well known destination, even tho the road to get to the restaurant looks like you are driving into a construction site and is very bumpy. If you or someone in your group has a bad back, this part might not be much fun, but it isn’t far. When you are close to the farm, you can see all the vegetables planted on the side of the hill in terraces. I understand they have tours, but we didn’t take one. They also offer cooking classes which would be a hoot. There are a few shops and then a beautifully decorated restaurant with live soft music. We had told them we were all celebrating our birthdays, and they had very cute sign on the table for us. I had the tri-color Caesar salad which I enjoyed very much. Not just romaine, but other leaves as well, together with an interesting, very Parmesan dressing, nothing like I’ve ever had before. Loved it. One of the others had the quiche, which she said was great. The other two split a margarita pizza but still had pieces left to bring home. To honor our birthdays, they brought us a small piece of carrot cake and a piece of chocolate cake to share, and sang happy birthday to us! So fun! Loved the chocolate cake the best! Great spot! Highly recommend going there but you’ll need a reservation, especially if you want to take the tour or a cooking class!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Good, Atmosphere & Service
We first went for dinner and then booked again to back for the farm tour & lunch as we lived it so much. The atmosphere both day and evening is wonderful - relaxed elegance, fabulous live music which did not overwhelm your conversation, vibrant and fun with amazing food and service. In particular we want to mention Eliud Ramirez for his service when we went for dinner - he and his support team guided us through the menu and options and was such fun. Roberto was our host for lunch and he was equally helpful and made our daytime experience special also. Beautiful place and the owners have developed a wonderful place.

A treasure. We were there for Sunday brunch. Beautiful surroundings, exquisite cocktails, terrific band, delicious lunch. Go if you have a chance..
Be the first to ReplyFun evening with great food & drink
Beautiful grounds and great restaurant. We got an assortment of appetizers, entrees, and drinks...and loved everything we ordered! It was my birthday and they made it special with a cute sign and delicious dessert. There was live music that really added to the ambiance. Next time I will want to go earlier because there's so much to do.

Really beautiful area. Excellent food. Service was slow or would have given 5 starts. Just absolutely amazing cocktails and service at the bar.

We went there to celebrate our 35th anniversary. The grounds are beautiful, we strolled around and did a bit of shopping, however, be prepared as everything is very high end and high priced. Dinner was fantastic but the restaurant was VERY busy and noisy. I was highly distracted all through dinner. Also try to sit outside it gets very warm and stuffy inside. Service was great, food was great too. We will try to go later next time so it's a bit cooler. They did surprise us with a little anniversary sign and a huge piece of chocolate cake! Nice touch!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Experience
My wife and I took a cooking class (Salsas) at Flora Farms. This was our first visit to Flora Farms and we had a wonderful experience. The drive to Flora Farms is interesting...you are almost four wheeling over dirt roads to get there. But once you get there Flora Farms is a small oasis. Beautiful farm, restaurant, and other facilities. All the staff we encountered were friendly, accommodating, and gracious. The entire experience was first class. Maya, the main cooking instructor, was wonderful. Our cooking class started with a tour of the farm and the facilities. This was followed by a Carrot Margarita and then the start of the cooking class. We learned a lot a great basics, including tips on knife work we didn't know. Also a lot of valuable information about roasting vegetables, using spices, salting, etc. During the cooking class, we enjoyed tasting our salsas we made and the guacamole and salsas that the staff made. Also got to try our hand at making homemade tortillas. The cooking class was followed by a wonderful lunch of fish tacos, salad, guacamole and chips, and key lime pie for dessert. We were given a recipe booklet and bought one of their nice aprons. This was one of the more expensive cooking classes we have taken, but the overall experience was worth it. Would like to take their tamale cooking class next year. Would also like to try the restaurant.

Great food! If you are gluten free, you will have to stick with pizzas or salad- which are delicious. Expensive, but tasty drinks and food. The grounds are a little small for dinner guests. Took about 30 minutes of strolling timewise

This is an excellent dining experience. The farm to table cuisine is outstanding. Cocktails are unique and extremely delicious. Live music always excellent. Ambiance is superb. Staff extremely well trained, organized and attentive. Surrounding grounds are wonderfully landscaped. Produce and bakery available if you are interested in fresh ingredients to take out. Shops are very interesting and continually evolving. This is one of our annual stops for each of the past dozen years.
Be the first to ReplyNOT overrated!
What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was! So often, these buzzy places end up being overrated. But not so with Flora. Great setting; very good food; very friendly service, and would definitely do a return trip.
Be the first to ReplyFamily Get Together at The Farm
Truly a unique experience. The farm is literally located in the middle of the desert. No idea where they get the water to be able to create such an impressive, lush environment. We had an 8:30 dinner reservations but came early - around 6:00. Wish we allowed for even more time as there is so much to see. Wanted to take one of their cooking classes but it was sold out. Maybe next time. We were a party of five - my wife and me, our son and his wife and our daughter. Food was fabulous. Everything is farm to plate - raised on location. As mentioned in other reviews, there is no beef on the menu as it is cost prohibitive to raise cattle in such an arid climate. That's OK because they had some great pork dishes. Try the Black Pepper Pappardelle with Pork Bolognese!! Everything from appetizers to pizza to entrees was excellent. If I was to do this again I would make sure I could do a tour of the farm and take one of the cooking classes offered. Evidently these all sell out so you need to make plans early on.
Be the first to ReplyI’m Love With Flora
One of the most memorable moments, truly amazing people like our waiter Antonio, one of the most cheerful and polite people there is. So was Josue and Cristian very attentive and caring. One of the best things about Flora Farms were the mouth watering drinks and food. The bartender Irvin and his colleague were amazing with serving and recommending us one of the most delicious drinks. Highly recommend going to Flora Farms with family and friends.

1/5 On March 10th, I recently visited Flora Farms with my family to celebrate my mother-in-law's 74th birthday. She had heard about how beautiful the place was and wanted to have breakfast there, so we arrived at 10am. The location was indeed stunning, filled with plants and open air. However, our experience changed when we arrived at the hostess station. We were met by a young, unfriendly woman who didn't even bother to greet us before asking if we had a reservation. Despite the fact that the restaurant didn't seem full from the outside, she told us that they only had a simple breakfast buffet of eggs and beans without drinks included, and that we could only see the menu after 11am. Her ironic smile and obvious eagerness for us to leave was both surprising and disappointing. Eventually, we gave up and went to another restaurant in San Jose to have breakfast. I feel compelled to share my experience because the attitude of the hostess was unacceptable, and I can only imagine how the waitstaff would have treated us. Despite the negative experience, I must say that Flora Farms remains a beautiful location.
Be the first to ReplyFarm to Table Tradition!
A visit to Flora Farms is a Los Cabos vacation tradition! The food is amazing - organic veggies, farm-raised pork and chicken (no beef b/c they don’t own cattle). The cocktails are creative - our 2 favorites this visit were the Farmarita (carrot juice and tequila) and the Smoky Mezcal Hibiscus Margarita. Also did a cooking class this year - roasted veggie tacos! So much fun and SO DELICIOUS! Discovered I can make a mean tomatillo salsa and my own corn tortillas!
Be the first to ReplyWorth the trip!
It is a little drive from Cabo but worth it. It is a gorgeous setting with amazing food. I had the catch of the day which was a sea bass and my husband had the porch chop. Both were amazing. We enjoyed several appetizers as well. Service was exemplary. We will be back next time we travel to Cabo.
Be the first to ReplyMassages at The Farm
This is a lovely Farm to Table resort. When we went for massages it was bustling. The shops and restaurant were crowded. It felt like a very well run business. The “spa” is not a spa but 2 rooms that open to the garden at the far right of the property by the private pool. As spa guests you cannot order food or sit by the pool. We also did the flower bath. It was cute but beware the bees also loved the flowers!
Be the first to ReplyOver hyped, not worth it.
Over hyped. We went here with our 3 kids and while its a nice place, it was packed, restaurant was very busy. Food was expensive but its in the middle of no where so not a lot of options and at least the food was fresh. We really weren't impressed and wasn't worth the drive from Cabo San Lucas. Looks like they care more about selling real estate now then they do the farm and the food.
Be the first to ReplyGood times, beautiful gardens, great food/drink
Flora Farms has a lot to offer. The food and drinks are excellent, albeit a little on the pricier side of things. The grounds are beautiful and it was relaxing walking through all of the vegetable gardens and flowers. Absolutely beautiful. The drinks were unique and very tasty. The hibiscus margarita and bloody mary are a must.
Be the first to ReplyAMAZING but be prepared!
WOW! What a culinary experience. Everything we ate was superb. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We had their Tuesday night Fried Chicken special and it was some of the best I've ever tasted. I did have one issue with Flora Farms. The choices of food offered on their menu was interesting. They specialize in pork so, if you love pork, OMG, this is the place. There were no beef options, only one fish option and just an odd array of food choices. They also have 12 inch personal pizzas which looked very popular. IMHO, I think the pizzas were added to the selections for people who couldn't find what they really wanted on the regular menu. In the end, the food was FABULOUS! I would highly recommend this place.
