Best hotel in Vegas.
The rooms are stunning, with lots of space and great views. The staff are responsive and friendly e.g. housekeeping is finished within an hour of requesting service. Very convenient technology like voice command to manage the thermostat, curtains, lights, etc. Also the best clubs are on-site and easy to walk to (Encore Beach Club, XS). I like that it's at the end of the strip away from the other hotels, too.
Be the first to ReplyEncore Las Vegas is the nicest, most luxurious property on
Encore Las Vegas is the nicest, most luxurious property on the Strip, besides its sister property, Wynn. Walking right into the hotel lobby, you can notice the difference between this casino and others: miles of floors and walls covered in marble, an intimately smaller size casino floor, bathrooms filled with deep mahogany wood and marble (and always in pristine clean condition), with butterfly accents throughout the property. The rooms are some of the nicest in town, with high-tech amenities like Alexa. Although to be honest, not the best appliance to have in a private hotel room considering Alexa is always listening and sometimes even being transcribed by a human hearing the recording. A great part about this casino is that every room has a similarly amazing view; what really differs is the floor level (and with that, the price). The table games and everything of the sort are quite expensive here--compared to other places, the ambiance may make some feel a bit out of place in my opinion since the clientele being catered to may drastically differ from most other strip properties and it's more rule oriented here compared to other casinos from my experience, like you'll be actively approached if you're not wearing shoes from the pool to the rooms or other strange, small rules like that (like no bath towel coverings allowed outside of the pool, even if just walking from your room to the pool-- fully clothed and wearing shoes are mandatory; the rules here offer very little exception unless, as I've seen, you're a celebrity or big spender. An example of this is when I had seen a big spender wearing a hoodie, they weren't approached to take it off yet others have been approached to take off their hoodie). In order to properly enjoy yourself here, be prepared to spend a decent amount on whatever you're buying, from the high-end stores like Hermes, Brioni, and Prada, to the restaurants and entertainment, like their nightlife. Wynn/ Encore, from what l've found, actually has cheaper food in some occasional instances than some other major casino-resorts on the strip, and it's much better quality (sometimes, otherwise, it tends to be overpriced for something that's quite casual/nothing special-- like a $9 medium iced latte or $14 sandwich made on normal sandwich bread). Some menu items have way more thoughtfulness put into the food that's made here too; from their food, their property, plants and everything-- it is is always perfectly manicured and curated, even their acres large golf course. Everything also seems cleaner than other properties as well. Walking through Wynn/ Encore also feels like a Modern art Museum with many sculptures and art pieces, even one by Jeff Koons (Tulips). What I love is the attention to detail, so many accent lights and decorations it seems impossible to keep everything in perfect condition like it always is, you'll never find a part of this property that isn't manicured to perfection. Quite the incredible challenge to overcome too considering the size of the properties. The few downsides is the location of this resort since it's on the furthest end rather than closer to the actual strip, and there's a cheap, somewhat sketchy area located directly next to the Encore property, as well as the fact that you're nickel and dimed in order to properly enjoy yourself here, creating a more exclusionary feeling/ environment (if you're not someone who has money to spend, you'll definitely feel overlooked by certain individuals within this resort) and there's few actual options for free entertainment compared to other properties. There are also a lot of rules which pertain to the average guests which can be pretty annoying. Theres a lot for anyone. There's dining, shopping, nightlife and gambling. Also, it's nice that it's a smaller property because there's more security around the vicinity compared to other properties. The last time I was here and in their rooms was prior to their big renovation; however, the service and quality of amenities are similar. There's a restaurant here for anyone's taste: Chinese, Italian, Japanese, bar food, etc., although there aren't many around the clock options for casual, quick-filling food. This property also has amazing nightlife and daylife options, with some pretty good Djs (some feel a bit worn, like Chainsmokers and Marshmello). The luxury is the main factor with their nightclubs, it doesn't have anything special like some of the other bigger clubs, it's mainly just the luxury part which this brand definitely tries to epitomise. Some of the food and drinks here seem overpriced for what you get, but it's not nearly as bad as some of these other casinos. Overall, the Wynn & Encore sets the standard for what the epitome of luxury & hospitality should be-- for as long as you have the money to spend! Otherwise, you're definitely made to feel like a small fry at this mega-luxury casino brand compared to any other on the strip.

Continually profiled and subject to repeated bag searches and room key searches. "Security" personnel act like they are ok the staff at "Roadhouse". Hotel management has no idea the policies in place or ability to enforce them. Stated security procedures by management were not followed. Requesting clarification from hotel management resulted in additional "retribution" searches by staff. Management did nothing to intervene. Be prepared to have your property man-handled randomly coming or going, by the pool, going to dinner or in the lobby. Be prepared to be pulled out of lines or receive a shake down in public areas. I know what you're thinking. No, we are not part of the "usual suspects". Do not be a veteran. Their security personnel are want to be "operators" in fishing vest and cargo pants that hate themselves for not serving and make a point to harass anyone that did. If you're booking an event do not put your employees and their families into this environment. Stay at this hotel at your own peril. You're better off at one of the many other hotels in the area.
Be the first to ReplyI really really don't need to say much about this place
I really really don't need to say much about this place except I need an Encore of my visit please. Look the reality is that I did not want to leave. Wynn and Encore understand customer service and NICE ROOMS. I felt like I was worth way more than my net worth in this room. The room is beautiful and honestly a bit bigger than my first apartment. The bathroom is lovely and right inside the door. Amenities are fantastic -- toilet separate from the rest and a shower and a tub. I love the lights around mirrors etc. The bed was SO freaking comfortable. When I got to Vegas I am not in the room much -- here I stayed in TWO DAYS because it was so luxurious and fun. I got the best sleep in this bed. The bed is separated from a living room with the TV that swivels and turns so you can watch it from the desk or couch. The full exterior wall is windows. The desk was perfect to work at for two days as I was working while away. It was comfortable and had enough outlets. The couch was just so so in comfort but at least it was clean. The mini bar is well stocked but be careful I literally opened it to look and was charged... ACK it was fixed but still be careful. Service was amazing. Overall I will DEFINITELY BE BACK!
Be the first to ReplyEncore is the place to stay if you're looking for luxury
Encore is the place to stay if you're looking for luxury while in Vegas. We were in town for our friend's birthday and three couples stayed in a 3 bedroom suite that was amazing in every way. Extremely spacious, never felt crowded, every suite had their own restroom and more than enough space for all of us move about. Encore isn't in the heart of the strip but a 10/15 minute drive will get you there. The airport is an easy 20 minutes away with no traffic. Our bathroom was spacious, had a steam shower and extra toiletries should we had forgotten any. Our room was beautiful with all windows, beautiful view of downtown Vegas, iPad controlled curtains / room temp and a t.v. at the foot of our bed. Downstairs we had a kitchen and a pool table that made for some great times after gambling. We didn't visit the pool as it was too overly crowded for our liking. The lobby is extremely convenient to the rooms and the casino. No need for excessive walking, everything is nearby. We really enjoyed room service for the two mornings we were there. It was quick, under 30 minutes and the food was absolutely delicious! Omelettes, overnight oats, egg sandwiches, fruit plates, pancakes... you name it. Everywhere we went was clean, staff was friendly, helpful and valet/ taxi service is fast. We highly recommend staying at Encore for any occasion and enjoy!
Be the first to ReplyI love this hotel.
They are always having amazing service and food. Their room service steak and eggs was very good and came with asparagus and hash browns. I got a smoothie with it which came a little lukewarm so I wasn't too happy about that.. but everything else was good.
Be the first to ReplyHOUSEKEEPING STOLE $600 AND ENCORE DOES NOT CARE!! During
HOUSEKEEPING STOLE $600 AND ENCORE DOES NOT CARE!! During a two-night stay at Encore, I had a winning night at their casino and put my $640 in chips on the minibar cabinet. The next day we spoke with a housekeeper in the hallway about using no air freshener in the room, and she seemed really nice and accommodating. My wife and I left the room for two hours while housekeeping tended to the room, and on the desk, I left a $5 tip and a note about the air freshener because the housekeeper we talked to said she would not be servicing our room herself. When we returned, the room had been serviced and the tip was collected, but when I went to gather up my chips I found that two of the chips ($600!!) were gone. Only $40 remained, and my neat stack with the largest chips on the bottom was inverted with the green $25 chip now on top and the $500 and $100 chips stolen. We wasted several hours of our trip filing a report with hotel security and then a police report with LV Metro Police. I was sure that Encore would make things right for us, considering that when we asked the hotel PI if this sort of thing was common, he told us that it common enough to keep him employed. Wow. So this is common? I guess so! I noticed there actually was a review from another Encore guest that had $200 stolen out of their zipped suitcase just two days before our money was taken. And Encore will do nothing for them, either! The PI told us that they'll know exactly who entered our room while we were away based on the electronic key record and they'd complete their investigation in a few days. That made me feel like this matter would be rectified to our satisfaction once they figured out who took our money. Two days later, back at home, we got a call from Encore Claims Department, who told us they couldn't find the chips "that I lost" and their investigation was complete. I firmly told them that I didn't lose the chips, they were stolen, and the only person in the room was Encore housekeeping, and I was stunned that Encore would just drop the issue and let their housekeeper steal from their guests and not make any attempt to compensate the guest! I then got the non-apology, "I'm sorry you are disappointed." So Encore apparently has a chronic problem of housekeepers taking money from their guests and a policy to turn their backs on their guests with a shrug and a "tough luck." We are frequent visitors to Vegas and although we're comped at Palazzo, my wife wanted to check out Encore. Needless to say, we won't be returning. I realize this could happen anywhere, but the way they handled it lost them two customers Not that they care.
Be the first to ReplyI always go to the Encore because I like their parking but
I always go to the Encore because I like their parking but all this applies to the Wynn as well. Stopped by to take advantage of their tier match upgrade offer. I was reminded why they are a five star resort. The team bends over backwards to take care of you and make you feel appreciated. Nice thing about being higher tier is you get to skip the line at the buffet. And the Wynn buffet is, in my opinion, the best in town. Dealers at the table games are super efficient and friendly. I was actually a little up. Even the team members in the cage were on point and friendly. Yep, tier upgrade gives me a reason to go there again.
Be the first to ReplyUpdating my review after Jorge (Wynn Customer Experience
Updating my review after Jorge (Wynn Customer Experience Specialist) reached out to me regarding my Wynn-email feedback and then I guess he saw this Yelp review. I didn't ask for it, and I kindly advised that I would not be visiting the property again. He took it upon himself to refund the room service charge and cafe charges, which i greatly appreciate. Not many properties would take the time to do that, and without prompting. I just wish that hospitality mindset was evident in the daily staff. I know it's tough right now to find people who want to work, and will do a decent job. Thanks Jorge for restoring my faith.
Be the first to ReplyCOFFEE.
There was no coffee maker in the room nor was there an easy way to get coffee let alone quick. We need coffee in the morning period. I usually stay at the palazzo or Venetian but this time I decided to try the encore because it was a little cheaper but NEVER AGAIN. It took room service nearly an hour every day to get here with coffee. One of the days I walked to the cafe to get the coffee they offer here. Their coffee was terrible. There is no Starbucks here or any other good place to get coffee quick. All the cafes have lines for coffee. One star because of coffee and making it a huge inconvenience to get it. I will never stay here again. Also (and you can laugh) the front entrance had a strong sewage smell which seemed appropriate lol.

BEWARE! THERE ARE THIEVES!!! WE WERE ROBBED!!! We had money stolen from our suitcase in the room at the Encore... but no one seems to care. We were staying at the Encore for a family wedding that took place in the hotel. When we left to attend the ceremony, our room had not been cleaned so we called the front desk upon leaving and requested it be cleaned while we were gone. 2 hours later we returned, the room was clean, but I noticed my suitcase had been unzipped. Upon opening the suitcase, I saw the wedding card/envelope was not on the top where I had left it. I looked through the suitcase to find the card under my clothes, the envelope was missing along with $200 (which was not all of the cash in the envelope). We reported the incident to the front desk but I explained that we had come from NY and were not going to miss the wedding to file the report since the security personnel were not immediately available and they advised we could file the report later that evening. We called the front desk at 10pm and advised we were ready to file the report. We waited 1 hour for the security person to arrive (after calling about 45 minutes into the wait and were told there were a lot of security issues and other priorities since it was a Saturday night). He took the info and was gone in 5 minutes. He said they would look into the key scans and would know who entered during that time and that we should file a police report and press charges. He also said we would have difficulty getting the police department to answer us, which is exactly what has happened. The police dept. phone number advised us (digitally) to file a report online. Since doing that, we heard from the security person from Encore and he said we've done all we can. I realize this is not a lot of money and it will be considered a learning curve, but when you stay in (what appears to be) a nice hotel, you tend to think that even if someone of their employees does take something from your room, they would accept liability for missing cash when they are the only ones who were in the room other than us. Their lack of attention to this matter has been disappointing and I will not recommend anyone stay there when their security is as aloof as they are. My advice is to use the safe, don't leave any extra room cards laying around the room when you are not there, and be aware of everyone and your surroundings. I would love to return to Las Vegas but will certainly not stay at the Encore or Wynn hotel.
Be the first to ReplySuite is really nice but in-room dining is terrible! If
Suite is really nice but in-room dining is terrible! If you stay at the Encore plan on eating somewhere else, their eating options are poor at best. Their prices are ridiculously high and the food tastes like prepackaged meals. Other than that it's nice!
Be the first to ReplyPros: Very nice, large rooms.
The Espresso bar by the front desk has good breakfast and coffee. F&B for meetings: decent food but excellent service. Cons: 2 Queen rooms are on the "noisy" side of the hotel. Was there for work and was not informed that there's a nightclub pool side at the Wynn that goes until 4 am on Wednesdays and Fridays!!! Even earplugs that I brought with me didn't help. Worst sleep I've had since I had newborns. Wish I was given the option to stay on the quiet side or at least get a higher floor (I was on the 15th). Front desk agent never offered that info. No coffee maker in room.
Be the first to ReplyBeware for the Bait and switch.
Don't buy their deceptive room upgrades. This is all a scam. I would book a large resort at another hotel and save yourself a lot of money. MGM gives you 4 pillows to each bed. This place gives you two crappy pillows and makes you remember how horrible they are. Very upsetting rooms for the value
Be the first to ReplyThere's a reason why Wynn / Encore resort is the best
There's a reason why Wynn / Encore resort is the best property in Las Vegas! Elegant hotel, exquisite decor & super friendly staff members that'll make you fell welcome the moment to enter this establishment make this one a true 5 star experience! The 1st room I was assigned to actually had a clogged draining system in the shower and unfortunately it flooded the whole bathroom area during my shower but I want to give a special thanks to the hotel manager Bianca Valle who was so nice & professional and moved me to a new room within 30 minutes of that incident. I also received a $50 breakfast credit for each day I stayed there and used that on the Wynn Buffet brunch which I'll do a separate review here. They also have a great line up of high end restaurants & clothing stores inside both Wynn & Encore buildings.I really didn't get to enjoy everything they have this time and planning a 2nd visit very soon!! If you're a regular or a tourist in Las Vegas, Wynn/Encore is the place you must stay at least once!!
Be the first to ReplyGot three free nights so that part was great .
Ordered an extra bed for the room it came at approximately 11 pm after calling 4 times. Then the room is not cleaned unless reminding them or requesting it. Comps are small. Buffet about $250 to $300 for 3 . Coffee figure $10 with tip in small retail store . Pool closed . Pool open in Wynn closes at 4. Only go if it is free.
