Went in right at opening and sat at the bar.
Had a couple of good cocktails, burger, and Brussel sprout salad. I wanted to try the Emily Burger but that wasn't on the menu at this time. Bartender was friendly and whole staff was chit chatting in the corner since we were the only ones in there. Super small location but almost has a NYC vibe with the vestibule. Not the best pizza, burgers, or cocktails I've ever had but would bring friends or family here for sure!

Wanted something easy, stumbled into best dinner of visit
So I like good food- if you want to argue about Detroit vs Chicago vs NYC then this post won’t help you. However, if you want good pizza in the Gulch (Nashville TN) then I would recommend this place. We grabbed this on the way back to our rental- ordered 3 pizzas- MVP, Angel, and Roni and all were fabulous. Would get again tomorrow, let alone the next time we visit. Great staff too, so good- seriously quit searching and order.
Detroit style squares are tasty, with crisp edges.
Quality ingredients are used that help get this pie pretty close to classic Detroit pan style squares. Worth a visit.

The hubby I went here to celebrate 3 years of marriage on Super Bowl Day. We arrived on time to watch Usher perform, which we were ecstatic about. From what I understand, this place is always busy, but we were seated promptly. I ordered a gluten-free pepperoni pizza and added garlic cloves and basil and I ordered a shareable Caesar Salad (croutons on the side). My hubby ordered a pepperoni pizza and added mushrooms to his pizza. The salad came out in about 5 mins of ordering. Both the hubby and I raved about good it was The pizza came out around 10-15 minutes after ordering it. Can I just say that my gluten-free pizza was one of the best I have ever had. I have a hard time finding deep dish gluten-free pizza and finally found one and it was mucho delicioso. My hubby had been before and it was his recommendation. All in all Emmy Squared Pizza earned a 5 star rating based on taste and customer service. Oh, last but not least, the crushed pepper they use (Korean crushed pepper), was so damn good. It wasn't too hot and it absolutely enhanced the flavor of the pizza. I will be ordering some off of Amazon.

It's Detroit style so a little more breading than some. The Colony is our favorite- we even try to recreate it at home. The tables can be close together so it can get loud however the casual vibe makes it nice.

Yes I had eaten at one of these in NewLou Louisville Ky's hip area. The pizza is good and has a pan like crust. I tried the pineapple and ham with a spicier chili sauce and a pepperoni and mushroom slice also. Comes in a rectangle and cut into squares. I would recommend for adults as it is pricier but high quality ingredients. Probably find a better value pizza for a family with kids.

Hostess was very friendly and set the tone, bartender was very cordial. As I was dining alone I asked it was possible to get a single sized serving of the Caesar salad - sadly it was not possible. The normal serving feeds 2-3 and it was sad to see them dump the uneaten portion that I could not finish. The same with the pizza - no individual servings available. Since I was in town on business I had no where to take the uneaten pizza to go - like the salad they dumped 1/2 of a pizza in the trash. Salad was very good, pizza was fine but if you are dining alone don't come here unless you are ok with them wasting food. What a shame to see them so casually waste food.

Hot, crispy and yet doughy at the same time. I would give this spot 4 stars if it didn't feel like we were jipped with our toppings. And for the price, this shouldn't happen. Especially the sausage pizza, there just wasn't sausage on the pie. It felt like the scraps from a pan. Also ordered an espresso martini. Usually a safe drink to order. However it was so bad we had to send it back. I felt so bad, because I never send anything back. The waiter assured me that I was actually the second or third person to send that specific drink back. Still tasty and a great spot to hit if you're in the area and looking for pizza or if you're craving deep dish.
The food was good, but it was nothing crazy.
I would not go back for the food again, but overall had a pleasant experience with the food alone. The service there was horrible and we waited about 15 minutes even though we had a reservation. The ambience of the restaurant was all right, but there wasn't a specific mood, and it was very loud being sat by the door. Overall, I think it would be a great place to go to one time and not go back.

Never had square pizza other than Caesar's, so my expectations were tempered. This place is phenomenal. Great pizza. The dough was thick but not too dense. The cheese was cooked perfectly and not over burned. The size per pie is about the size of a medium pizza. Definitely worth it!

Emmy Squared is a chain restaurant but the pizza is always great! Absolutely love the Detroit Style thick crust!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
