A Cabo institution - that feels like a timeshare
Edith’s is a Cabo institution - in everyone’s “must do” list in Cabo. Food and atmosphere are great. Unfortunately the service now leaves much to be desired. The wait staff is clearly on some kind of bonus program. Listening to them harangue us about purchasing the smoking margarita special or the house Cabernet was not much different than attending a timeshare pitch. I have never felt this way in the past. It was embarrassing for us in front of the guests that we wanted to impress. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be back to Edith’s - I want to relax at dinner and not get a hard sell.
We had delicious food and the service was phenomenal.
we came here while visiting Cabo. And we will definitely be back the next time we are traveling to Cabo.

That is, until the other evening. The check was $503 for 4 people. We don't have a drink menu." $35 each for 2 6oz margaritas which of course we did not realize until we got the check!! $25 each for 2 Mexican coffees! One of our party ordered sea bass. It was totally tasteless as were the accompanying vegetables and potatoes. I will say the Baja shrimp was delicious and their tableside Caesar salad did not disappoint. In addition to the exorbitant entree and drink prices there was a 16% service charge for...???? Adios Edith's. Will not be going back!

Good food but the experience was marred by swarming loud servers.
The food was very good but we were unfortunately seated where servers were constantly swarming back and forth around our table and even shouting at each other over our heads. These guys need some training.

My bride and I shared the Wally's Special which was the greatest mouthwatering experience! Grilled butterflied shrimp, filet mignon and fish Vera Cruz! Wash down with great tequilas: Jose Cuervo Reserva de La Familia & Maestro Dobel Atelier... I can't remember much else. The decor is amazing. We were served in the private room! Great friendly service and a $500 night.

This is still my favorite restaurant in Cabo! We have dinner here every time we visit Cabo. The food is delicious! The service is excellent and the vibe is amazing! Perfect view of the beach. The steak and seafood are exquisite. Great Quality when it comes to their steak and lobster. The drinks are great! You have to try their famous banana dessert.

Sister restaurant of The Office and their food is delicious. Lots of options to choose from. The ambiance and settings are very nice. Clean restaurant. Fun food presentation and certainly I could highly recommend to visit this restaurant for anyone coming to Cabo. Fast and efficient service so make reservations as they book out.

Overall good people, but on this night our server was terrible (and should be fired for his rudeness and indifference). They gouge on any thing that doesn't have a price on the menu. Long time Ediths fan, but this has me wondering if we will ever go back. Food was okay. Steaks priced like Mastros and half the quality. If you want to spend $60 for a margarita, this is the place for you.
This place is fantastic.
When cultural pride and food meet, this is a must-stop in Cabo! The service was terrific; the staff was so accommodating and attentive. My son had an issue with a lose tooth, and they took such care to make sure he was cared for during dinner. Additionally, he has a severe dairy allergy, and they were so gracious to recommend a special dish to meet his dietary needs. I had an off-menu item and was blown away by the freshness of the lobster and the shrimp. While the steak was overcooked for medium and could use a bit more salt, it was an excellent complement to an abundance of food. The appetizer was so fresh--a tostada with beans, cabbage, salsa, and cotija cheese. The desserts were a perfect amount to satisfy the sweet tooth and complement the meal. Always pay your bill in pesos!
Food, service and atmosphere were wonderful.
It was a great evening for our family on vacation. Just be prepared because when the check comes it is more than double what a comparable meal would cost in the U.S.
Pricey but well worth it!
An awesome Cabo tradition, excellent food all around and always great service and unbeatable open air atmosphere. Yes this is super expensive but most of this tourist part of Cabo near the marina and the beach joints are all really expensive...just know that going in and then enjoy the food and drinks! Everything we had from the seared tuna (huge!) to the enchiladas to the tres quesidilla and lobster salad toastette apps were all great. The bananas foster flamed tableside, excellent. Best of all was probably their famous Caeser Salad made tableside, just incredible flavor as it is completely homemade at the table!
A Don't-Miss Experience!
Our first night we had dinner at Edith’s, and it was a highlight of the trip. Service is over the top amazing, and the food was incredible. If we had been in town longer, I would have gone back in a heartbeat! Don’t miss it!
My favorite place in CAbo
I probably love this place more than I should. We went twice last year and twice this year and only aren't going for a third time because they're sold out. It's just a great place. The servers are fun and the atmosphere is lively. The tableside Caesar Salad is worth the trip all by itself. Any grilled meat is really great and has a natural smoky flavor. It's just a great place. Save room for bananas foster at the end!

We had no reservations but went a little after 5PM and they took us right in. We got lucky because less than an hour later, the whole place was packed. The ambience is wonderful, customer service is amazing, the food was good- chicken enchiladas were a little too salty but the sauce, salsas, rice and beans all made up for it.
Favorite restaurant of our trip
We ate here on our very first night in Cabo. It was probably my favorite restaurant we went to the entire trip. The ambiance was great, my margarita came in a super cute cactus glass and they brought out not only bread before our dinner but also a yummy little tostada thing.

We got completely scammed of our money, Waiter told us that we would get a dinner for 3 (for the Wollys special) but ended up getting a dinner for 2. On top of all that the price for portion size is not worth it. I recommend doing more research before blindly going to restaurants around the corazón. The atmosphere was probably the best part.

Oh this was my second time at Edith's restaurant and it was super incredible! When you walk in you're caught up with the most gorgeous ambience! Glass hearts everywhere of all sizes, sitting amongst the most beautiful flowers hanging down as well as surrounding you, with beautiful trees as the birds are happily chirping away! Depending upon where you sit, you have a beautiful view of the ocean and it's gorgeous. The staff and service are always attentive to your needs, drinks always half full and yummy! I highly recommend service by your table. They made the most tasty salad, our appetizers were ridiculously delicious, recommend the fish tacos. I forgot to mention the complimentary tostadas and bread, yum! I had an amazing filet steak and chicken enchiladas! I also highly recommend the opportunity to enjoy the Mexican coffee, it's out of this world! We left with some extra tortillas because they were the best!!

Edith’s food and atmosphere is top notch . A little pricey but worth it .. every bite of my steamed lobster & shrimp was DELICIOUS !! My tequila martini was the best I’ve ever had . And the banana fosters dessert cooked in front of you was amazing.
Ripoff
Edith’s was reasonable years ago but now they’ve learned to rip off people. What a shock we experienced when the 4 of us went for dinner last week…. Was offered a cocktail that was supposed to be “a special” and when the bill came the one cocktail was 649 pesos (40 usd). The bisque soup 2 yrs ago was around 15 usd and now the same soup was 690 pesos approx 40 usd). The service was just ok…not going there again! So many better places.

Edith’s is a nice setting, but it is just too expensive for the quality of the food. Four of us had dinner there with appetizers and 1 round of margaritas, plus one glass of wine and dinner with tax and tip came to over $600. Two of us got the catch of the day and the others got ordinary dishes, nothing crazy. It’d be one thing if the food was amazing, but it was simply good. If you add in drinks at the neighboring Office, plan on filing for bankruptcy!

Stopped by on a whim after returning from our sunset cruise. Our request for a table for 8 turned out to be in their private dining room/wine cellar. Score! A fabulous experience. Lovely surroundings in the restaurant, lots of tropical plants, winding 'paths' alongside the diners, beautiful and colorful. Enjoyable service team headed by Ricardo. Caesar salad expertly and entertainingly prepared traditionally at table-side and was delicious. Spicy margarita seemed expensive until we saw the HUGE glass it was served in. Veggie tostada amuse bouche was delicious. The chicken enchiladas looked as amazing as they tasted. Baja shrimp were large, perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. Our bill was presented in a treasure chest, and promptly processed. Highly recommend.

Overpriced to mediocre food
I wish I had read reviews prior to going. Every review that says it is overpriced is correct. With so many moderate priced restaurants in Cabo, there is no need to visit this restaurant. Complete tourist trap. Spend your money elsewhere.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
