Food was bomb and came out quick.
Service was kinda slow on the beverage side but we will definitely be back!

Don't let the outside decide you. Staff is nice and attentive. The food is very authentic and delicious. Don't listen to the other people are here who pretend they know what they are talking about. They don't. Dumplings were made on the spot, fresh and flavorful. The other dishes were excellent as well. Tender meats, crispy veggies. Anyone voting under 5 stars needs to go see a doctor.

. it was soggy. the worst version of this plate i have had in 30 years.
Be the first to ReplyI placed an order online on X-Mas.
When I arrived, they were clearly behind and understaffed. I waited 30 minutes for my order, which was fine. The lady called my order and I showed her my order on my cell phone. I drove all the way home about 20 minute drive, to find out that they packed the order so bad and so much in the bag, the liquids were all pressed out and all over the bag, which then got all over my seat. The bag ripped of course, so I had a mess when I got home to clean up. Then when I opened the containers, none of them were my order. I drove all the way back, waited again, and they didn't seem to care or apologize about anything. They offered me 15% back, which was 10 bucks which was my tip. Pretty bad experience for a holiday and while I understand being busy being one of the only places open, it is their responsibility as a business to be staffed correctly. Also you can't call them either, their phone was not being answered at all went straight to a vm that was full. And I live in Beaverton, Oregon. Not sure why Yelp has me listed in another State.

Authentic Chinese food, we were the only non-Asians, that says it all.. if you want real Chinese go here...

Don't let the building mislead you, they don't seem much on the outside but they offer excellent Cantonese food. Authentic Cantonese food big portions and fast service. I was surprised they were not busy on a Saturday night dinner too. They had several to-go orders and 2 large parties. Would definitely go back and recommend this place.

The food here is very sweet and more heavy on the sauce but the dishes are really good and the portions are good. I have ordered from this place a lot and I highly recommend all their meat dishes. The duck and twice cooked pork belly. Their beef broccoli is also worth a try.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is really good.
Sizzling mushrooms and beef are amazing, dry sautéed string beans are superior and the hot and sour soup is the best I've had in Portland. The one critique I would have is the slow service. Servers were kind and courteous.
Be the first to ReplyClean and elegant inside.
Has a nice lobster tank. Service was good. I think the dim sum is cheaper here than at chinatown restaurant, but the baked barbecue pork buns are not as good here.

Great food! The General Tso's Chicken was a spectacular dish and I enjoyed it. The service was great despite the low amount of dine ins whilst I was there. 10/10 would go there again :)
Be the first to ReplyThis is by far the best place for dim sum in this area.
It's a fairly large space and the waits are not too outrageous. My favorite dish is the pecking duck meal, where it comes with buns. The duck is so flavorful and delicious. All the staple dim sum dishes are also solid.
Be the first to ReplyCame here for dinner while visiting family.
They have their own parking lot, so no worries on where to park. The restaurant lights are brightly lit outside. The interior has a very Eastern feel with a spacious dining room with many sized tables. Servers there are very attentive, while the chefs are knocking out orders in a timely manner. We ordered a whole roasted duck with rice, string beans with eggplant, Chinese broccoli, Chicken fried rice and beef chow fun. I literally had no complaints about any of the food. It was delicious! The roasted duck was juicy still, packed with traditional flavors. The Chinese broccoli was tender yet crisp with plenty of sauce on the side. The string beans with eggplant was great. I'm not a huge fan of eggplant, but I actually had a few pieces here. Can't go wrong with chicken fried rice. It was loaded with plenty of veggies and chicken. The beef chow fun is one of my all-time favorites and it definitely hit the spot with its generous portions of noodles and beef. I have yet to try their dim sum but have high hopes for another satisfying visit in the future.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible restaurant with zero customer service.
I wish I could review the food but even after a very long wait they insisted our service would be better elsewhere.

I was hesitant to try based on the reviews but they were the only ones open this late. I am so happy I tried. Usually the bbq pork is dry at other places, this place was juicy. The kung pao shrimp was also very good.

The service here isn't spectacular but I would consider East Harbor to be the best dim sum restaurant on the West side, though their overall dim sum menu isn't as extensive as most (they do have the classics: shu mai, shrimp dumplings, layered noodles, etc). My family comes in about every month alone just for the Peking Duck; our favorite menu item here. The Peking Duck is served as either a one course, two course, or three course meal. I highly recommend the sliced skin with shrimp chips and steamed buns (usually served at Asian weddings), or the chopped stir fry lettuce wraps. The third options is that they also make the scraps into a nice duck tofu soup.Another favorite is the garlic pea sprouts!

The din sum. was not traditional And it was not very good.

Be the first to ReplyThe best Dim Sum.
On the West Side! We go at least once a month and its always yummy. The staff is nice, they always remember us because my son orders his special Chow Men, made to his liking, so when the chef gets the order he knows its us. It is a bit pricy, but since the pandemic, EVERYTHING is.

We decided to stop here for lunch, after a morning of pickleball. The place was pretty empty, so of course we were seated fairly quickly. Service at the start was pleasant. The staff was friendly. We ordered some dim sum to start (har gow, siu mai, bbq buns, sticky rice) and a lamb dish. The dim sum came out quickly, but none of the dishes were actually hot. The lamb came out hot and steamy, and it tasted pretty good.Service went downhill fast. First, we ordered more rice because we knew we weren't going to have enough. But the proprietor decided for us that we ordered too much rice.... umm.... I'm filipino. Your assessment was way off and we definitely needed more rice at our table. What came next was too much service... That's a thing right? Every couple of minutes, if someone wasn't asking us, "how's the food?" there was somebody's hand/arm in my face removing empty dishes from our table. EVERY 2-3 EFFING MINUTES!Finally, I was just weirded out because if someone wasn't sticking their arms in my face, I happened to notice some of the staff watching me eat from the far end of the room. Please continue to wipe down tables or dishes. Anything. Just don't watch me eat because there's nothing else to do.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and great service.
Even though its on TV highway, Ive never tried it. Now its going to be my go to place for those Chinese food cravings.
Be the first to ReplySuper tasty.
Quick service, fresh food and I'm so happy that we didn't have to drive across town to get delicious dim sum lunch here. Simply delicious, un-complicated ordering, and not crowded. What more could you want?

EXCELLENT FOOD! Found it online when we were in the area; exceptio service, very clean, and the Dim Sum equal to some of the higher end places we've eaten in Los Angeles-ANYONE in the Portland area-WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!
Be the first to ReplyCame here with a group of people to enjoy Dim Sum.
The food and service was outstanding.

I'm a soup person and I'm obsessed with their hot and sour soup. I will note I've tried hot and sour soups from multiple restaurants in Washington county and even DT Portland and I personally believe this place has the best hot and sour soup. No one's yet to change my mind (been eating the soup here 2 years) I always regret when I try other places lol.
Be the first to ReplyBeijing duck the best it can be in Portland area.
Service very good. Open on all major holidays like thanksgiving which is life saver.
