Food is great, drinks are solid and the staff and family
Food is great, drinks are solid and the staff and family are great! The joint is small with happy diners so make sure to book your table.
Dorsia's is old school but in the best way.
From the moment you walk in you feel like you're at home - the warmth of the staff, the homemade pasta, tasty bread, delicious entrees and perfect martinis or any drink! Sitting outside is great. Call to make a reservation!
outstanding food and service in an intimate atmosphere.
relaxing, delicious and a good value Squid ink linguine with Seafood is superb.
Fresh salad
Delicious!! Salad was very fresh tasting and a decent portion. Not a bad price. Cute and cozy atmosphere, but also busy at the same time. Staff was really friendly. Great place for quick lunch or coffee meetup.
Make a reservation days in advance.
We were lucky enough to sit at the bar. NY Italian fine dining warm colors. Interesting wine glass lamps They have white sangria ( hand muddled ) SO GOOD!! Sausage with big fat chunks of garlic pickled hot peppers potatoes so good They make fresh squid ink pasta, pappardelle etc. Make sure you check their specials. They let me make my own dish butter, spinach white wine garlic and oil fresh pasta with grilled octopus.

Went in last Tuesday when I went for my first time to check it out. When we got there it was packed with more people coming in just like us. We didn't have a reservation (didn't think I'd need one on a Tuesday), so we had a 30 minute wait which was fine. The people watching kept us entertained and the small but comfortable restaurant had a NYC vibe to it. The 2 of us had fried, tender calamari, an arugula and artichoke salad, the veal chop parmigiana and finally the streusel ala mode. Every dish was simply and deliciously prepared and the service was very attentive. They also didn't miss the Dorsia/Christian Bale reference. Very tongue in cheek ;)
So after passing by Dorsia a multitude of times growing up
So after passing by Dorsia a multitude of times growing up in boca I finally decided to give it a try today. On a Tuesday this place was PACKED. The vibe was very lively it felt like a slice of old school New York. It was amazing to people watch the mostly 60+ year old New Yorkers and their families. Anyways on to the service, after waiting 20 mins for a table with no reservation we were seated and the service was excellent. Always had water poured and everything was very clean. We started with calamari mixto and we weren't in the mood for shrimp so they subbed it for more calamari. It was incredibly tender, fried to perfection, and well seasoned 9/10. We then moved onto our main where tbh it was good I forgot to take a picture LOL. The veal chop parm was supremely tender wonderfully cooked and robust. 9.2/10 Dorsia is a certified yes in my book for a nice evening out and a switch up from the typical city of boca fan fare.
We really hadn't tried a nice new place in a while.
I was prepared for it to be fairly average, but Dorsia showed us her best side. We stopped in for dinner last week before going to a show later. We had reservations but when we saw a couple spots open at their beautiful bar we had them set us up there. A couple placemats later, we each had ordered a drink and perused the menu. They stuff their olives there, so I took the opportunity to have a nice dirt martini. And it was nice, and plenty dirty. It's a classic steak house energy, in all the best ways. There is evening lighting, sophisticated waitstaff, and an older crowd that is happy to chat it up on a night out. I got the jumbo shrimp and added side salad. I can honestly say both were perfectly done. It was our first time at Dorsia, but we aim to be back soon to to make it a little more of a tradition(Our show later was "Fiddle on the Roof").

Well, we found another favorite to come for good wine and great food. Before going to a play that night, we made a reservation here to have dinner. They allowed us to sit at the bar, and immediately were brought menus and place setting for dinner. They have a good selection of wines and they are good at recommending based on what you like, and allow you to taste before committing to a glass. Really appreciated that. When your order is placed, they bring some bread and olives. The olives were delicious! We placed our order and while we waited we added a half Caesar salad. That came out really fast and was really good. Tasted fresh with the right amount of dressing to not drown the romaine lettuce in it. I ordered an appetizer for dinner, the steamed clams and sausage and added the burnt broccoli on the side. I must recommend that side of broccoli, it was SO good. The burnt / charred taste is amazing and the broccoli was perfectly cooked to still have that crunch. I also very much liked the clams and sausage and was very happy and full with my meal. The restaurant is not that big, it has a nice dim ambiance, and all the staff works hard, fast and in a friendly manner. As I said, we found another place we're sure to visit again and again.
Sublime crullers!
Crullers at Daily Provisions are sublime. Tender and oozing with flavor I have eaten more than my fair share. Opened in 2017, I was in line every week and had studied the menu so I knew what to order. Now crullers are baked a few times a day but in the early days if I wasn’t there early in the morning I often shed tears. At $4.95 each these are priced high but as a treat once in a while I think it’s worth it. A few days ago I went in to get a loaf of bread only to find out that breads were retired a year ago. Cookies are popular but the lemon muffin was too soft. Whenever I feel under the weather or when I have returned from a trip abroad Daily Provisions is the first place I order from. Soup and the chicken salad sandwich are my two special orders. They also participate in Too Good To Go and once I picked up a bag. The interior can get crowded in the mornings with people ordering breakfast items (bacon, egg & cheese considered to be the best in the City). Outdoor seating is also there and during the summer months it is pleasant to enjoy the food.
