Nice collection of fast food and sit-down restaurants
The Dekalb Market Hall has a nice collection of fast food and sit-down restaurants in its lowest level. Note that most of the fast food places will have you sitting at shared picnic tables in the aisles.

We visited this place for dinner. As we had been in previous years we expected more however I would imagine due to the covid pandemic many of the food vendors were closed. Our favourite Hana Noodles was still open which was great. we always found it previously had a great buzz about it however this appears to have gone now.

Saw this advertised just around the corner from our hotel. Looked it up, picked some craft beer from the stalls around we picked a pilsner from Grimm Brewery - was very good ale and then picked Japanese Teppan style as my desired dinner choice. Lots of stalls offering a good range of cuisines. I had miso soup, edamame and chicken gyoza, husband had Katsu curry. Very tasty would recommended. Food $34 Drinks 2 x pints £24 Not cheap but a refreshing change from just picking a restaurant. Great atmosphere and full of locals….

Several options to choose from. We visited in July with our family of 5. This is an underground food upscale food court, which did end up costing us over $100 for lunch, so don’t plan on going without spending some money. The prices are high, but you are in Brooklyn.

Dekalb Market is the best of Brooklyn. The food is highly curated, the atmosphere is alive and feels authentic - and its easy to go with friends and each try out a different cuisine. Everything is good... everything!

A great choice of different food types. With one son always wanting to try something new and one son always wanting the same thing, this place is perfect and can make everybody happy. Not the cheapest of choices but the food is GOOOOD.

Nice place to kill time, get some exotic food, maybe even a movie as DeKalb Market connects to albee square, also there is a nice dance area, Thursdays Latin music night, Saturday seems to be house music, karaoke and other music on some of the other nights...all of this underneath Flatbush ave 1 block from Junior's famous cheesecake restaurant

A very good variety of different fares for every palette. A little on pricey side for very common fare. But its downtown...Very hip vibes, nice atmosphere. Good place for some quick eats after shopping in the area.

This was a great mall. Especially good for a cold winter’s day. Interesting variety of shops. Lots of shopping for kids. The Camp was a very fun place see. It is a toy store with a magic door.

I remember going to the Albee Square Mall as a kid in the 80's & 90's. It was not the best back then but you could find what you needed. I went there with my sister to do some grocery shopping at Trader Joe's! Yes Trader Joe's!!! My mind was blown by the funky vibes, nice eating places and hip shops. There was even a live DJ and ping pong battle going on in the lobby. It was awesome. Full of energy. In the basement there were lots of eateries for every palate. I went to Katz Deli and got a pastrami on rye, OMG!!! I am so glad Bklyn has a KATZ!!! That sandwich was so good and so big, it was enough for 2 people. I love Katz Deli. I love the vibes. I will definitely return and explore the other restaurants there.

Well worth the stop in to check out the various shops and local eats. Plenty of options for everyone and great anchor stores with Target and Trader Joes.
