BEST meal in Myrtle Beach!
The BEST meal we had while on vacation! It was excellent appetizers, drinks, entrees and desert! They even gave a free meal and cake because it was my birthday! Who does that anymore? Damon’s does! In addition to a great meal, the location is an elevated beach front property, so had an amazing view! Even the tables toward the back of the indoor dining room were elevated so it seemed like no matter where you sat you could see the beautiful ocean! Everything was also very reasonably priced. Staff were all very polite and welcoming. I would highly recommend anyone in this area to go here for at least one meal on your trip! We will definitely be back when we are here again!
One of the last remaining Damon's and worth the trip
Since most of the Damon's are out of business around me, decided needed to try this one. It's oceanfront on Myrtle Beach and has all of the old time favorites. The chicken tenders, onion loaf, ribs and muffins (instead of rolls) were favorites by all. I would definitely recommend making a trip to here.
Ocean view patio is the way to go!
Indoors, the smell of cleaning fluid was overwhelming and I couldn’t have eaten in it. Luckily I was able to sit outdoors. Nice view. Tasty ribs and baked potato. Meh cole slaw. Attentive server, but felt rushed even though there were plenty of open tables. I didn’t expect fine dining, but seeing the nearby tables bussed onto a large rolling cart full of dirty dishes still detracted from the experience.

Great views and lunch menu. I loved the French dip sandwich. They have a lot of great options. I do want to come back next year and try there prime rib
Yum Babyback ribs
My friend & I went there for dinner tonite. I had the babyback ribs & sweet potato casserole. The food was soooo good. My friend had a ribeye & enjoyed it.
Wonderful meals and a wonderful view!
The Damon's close to my hometown closed 25 years ago. This was my first time to Damon's since then, and it did not disappoint! I remembered their salads were fantastic, and they still are. House salad was fresh with plenty of toppings - hard boiled eggs, ham and bacon. I had 1/2 a chicken salad sandwhich for lunch. It was delicious and served on a wonderfully flavorful whole grain bread. I returned a few days later for dinner and had the ribs with pecan topped mashed sweet potatoes. It was like having desert with my meal. Fantastic. Both times I ate on the open air deck overlooking the ocean. Wonderful meals and a wonderful view.

The view and the food were amazing. The staff was friendly and the food came out hot. The only complqint is the steak lacked in the flavor department. Definitely would come again.
Never again
We stayed at the resort next door. We thought it would be awesome to have a few drinks and then walk back. Our experience was terrible. The cleaner they are using is disgusting. That’s all you can taste and smell. I had shrimp skewers that seemed like frozen shrimp. My husband had petite prime rib. Thankfully he got petite. It was cold and tough. We will never do a beach restaurant again.
Finally a good steak & ribs!
After spending 3 hours at the Holiday Inn Resort Club hearing the promotional pitch (a 2 hour required minimum), my wife and I were brain dead and starving. Our hotel concierge suggested Damon’s and my wife was craving meat. Moreover, its location was just across the road from the Club pitch site, so in we drove. No valet! Yea! Easy parking. We walked up the staircase, although an elevator was available. Our server sat us at the far corner of the restaurant one table away from generous window. That table vacated right after the waitress took our drink order. We asked permission to move to the window table and moved our seating to that table. The ocean view was excellent. Tide was coming up. Rain clouds in the distance. A great and auspicious beginning. I ordered an Angus Black RibEye for $30; my wife ordered a rack of Baby Backed Ribs which she was craving. We both got unsalted fries. I got Coleslaw. Both our meat dishes were excellent. No complaints. Although we intended to order desert, we were so full we could not do so. By the way, my wife’s meal was FREE as it was her birthday. Wow! So I give the food 4.5 stars. The inside of Damon’s was very clean but sparsely decorated, rather minimalist. The exterior of the building was beach ambience in contrast to the minimalist interior. Ambient sound level was low level even though the facility was >75% full. There was plenary of outside dining area but we preferred interior. Our server was pleasant and attentive. I would definitely put this Grill on your itinerary if you are a carnivore in the area.
Good food but could use a little improvement on the table turn experience
Dinner here at Damon's was good. We sat outside and had a beautiful view. Food was good but they had lots of tables that needed cleaning and seemed to seat people around this fact. It was after 8pm when we arrived and it was a Sunday night. Service was good but could have been better. They did have a gentleman with a camera offering to take pictures of you and your party. That was unexpected and quite annoying. Thankfully we politely said no thank you but he went to every table that sat down after us and did sell a few pictures to others.
An enjoyable lunch
Damon's has a gorgeous view of the ocean. The food was good and the service was excellent. They just completed a remodel and everything looks fresh and clean.

Perfect place for lunch with my parents while visiting for spring break. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside and enjoyed the view of the beach. Food was delicious and our server was super friendly and attentive.
We'll Not Return
Ellis was our waitor, took our order and things seemed good, but when we received cold onion rings that I sent back he got upset. We never got our soup or salads when I asked Ellis told me because he had to take the onion rings back he could not make the soups or salad.. when he came back to check on the dinner we told him the food we got was good, again he said "it's just food, Man" get over it. I asked for the Manager and he told me to settle down, because the Manager was going to walk us out the door. Manager was very nice, and did come right over to apologize. Damon's was always a go to place for our family but no longer, lots of other options.
Amazing food epic view
Best food out I've had in awhile. Recommend the sweet crunchy chicken. Beautiful oceanfront view. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
Just ok, nothing special
Experience was just ok. There were 7 of us and we were glad to get a table pretty quickly. The view of the ocean is the biggest attraction. Service and food were ok but not great. Crab cakes were disappointing. Would probably go somewhere else if I were to visit Myrtle Beach again.
Could be a lot better
This is not the Damons sports bar/ restaurant you remember. The building is in a Great location on the beach with open air seating , it would be a Great place to be decorated with a beach vibe and Have a uplifting atmosphere but it is just a plain looking restaurant with light colored walls, square tables and no wall hangings that we saw. No Tv’s and rhe bar is all closed in . The food was just ok nothing special. There really was nothing about this place that would make us want to come back.. sad..
Just a salad please.
Had Sara as a server. She was sweet and took good care of me. For some reason, I just wanted the chef’s salad and it was very good. There was a family of about 10 celebrating their matriarchs birthday. That was so sweet and they seemed to have a great time.
Assaulted my 76 year old father, kicked us out, and threatened us with police after 3 hr wait
Waitress kicked my entire family 16 of us out including 2 two year olds both my 75 year old parents, and the rest of us for my neice complaining we still did not have our food after 3 hours waiting. On the way out she pushed my handicap father and told him to hurry and she was calling the police. She said get out of "my resturant"! I was devestated and it takes alot. Two other couples left in disgust and others eating were appauled and apologized. Disgusting!!!
They try their best to take care of you even on the busiest days . And the platters are plentiful and tasty
This is a great spot for a nice casual lunch for dinner and it overlooks the ocean. As you wall in they greet you with a smile and they try to get you a table right away.
Choose another location
Canceled our dinner reservation for 20 people five days before the wedding, unreliable and dishonest. There was nothing like trying to find a new place for your reception dinner in less than a week’s time. Awful!
Second Chance Maybe
I wanted to wait until this morning to give a fair review on our experience. We sat in the bar while we were there. We were sitting immediately so that was great! The renovations look terrific by the way. Our server didn’t seem to care one way or the other about what was happening. He didn’t know any of the specials and we didn’t get our drinks for at least 10 minutes. He was very out of it maybe in another galaxy as he mishandled my wife’s soup. We were never asked for another round of drinks.. I guess we should be glad that we were able to drink those. Dinner was better than it’s been in ages once we actually got it. He said let me check on it a few times. We will be back but will not be served by him again. All of our familiar faces weren’t there to make a complaint to.

Wonderful visit. We were seated immediately. Drinks order and brought to the table. Preston was our server. We were a party of 7 it was 6 women and one gentleman group of friends. It was the gentleman’s birthday. Preston was professional and friendly. He kept wonderful track of all our meals. Refilled drinks before we ran out. He went back and made a fresh pot of coffee for me. I know we were not his only table but he treated us like we were his only table with much attention to detail. The food was fabulous. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We always have fun when we get together. This was one of those times. We had a great table overlooking the ocean. Stunning view. The atmosphere was friendly. I would recommend this restaurant especially if it is your birthday. A free meal for the birthday person. Check it out for yourself. Tell them Willie sent you.

This year we stopped in twice during our Myrtle Beach stay. Both times we arrived at the facility as they were opening for lunch at 11am; so both times we were seated immediately, and were able to score window seats (the beautiful ocean views are a real enhancement to the meal). Since the mid-west Damon's franchises we frequented closed years ago; finding this outlet last year brought back some great gastronomic memories. In that our recollections focused upon their tasty ribs and addictive onion loaf; those were included on both of this year's visits. And once again, we were very pleased on both occasions. Our ribs were accompanied by baked potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, and sweet potato casserole at various times between our two meals; and all were satisfying sides. Plus, we need to give a special shout-out for their rich & creamy banana pudding; a definite indulgence concluding each sitting. Our servers were a bit inconsistent, with the first attentive; but the second only intermittently so. Overall though, that was a small hiccup in relation to the excellent food and enjoyable views. All and all, we're already looking forward to next year's visits.

We have been going to Damon's for 30 years.
They also had a location years ago at Barefoot Landing. The restaurant looked worn and definitely needs updating but the ribs and sweet potatoes with pecans still has that I have enjoyed over many years! The house salad was covered in chopped eggs was too much to enjoy. I noticed other salads didn't look that way so mine was just special. The service was great. And the view is part of the experience.

Got our appetizer 40 minutes. Took an hour to get our rolls and salad. Rolls were hard. People came in sat table at us and had appetizer,rolls and salad in 20 minutes. People came in 10 minutes after us and had food in no time. Both table had food and were leaving before we got our food. Waited 2 hours to get our food. Then I didnt get birthday cake. If someones in training they dont need to be left without someone there helping them.Im going back this year but Im going to make sure I ask for a waiter are waitress that has been there awhile.

It's probably the worst restaurant I've been to in Myrtle Beach. 1st, we waited a while to have our order taken. Then when the food arrived it was not good. I had to se d my green b3ans and carrots back because of lack of seasoning. I got rice and corn instead. The rice was really good, and the corn was not. My sister got a steak that was supposed to be medium but was well done on one part, medium on one, and medium well on another. When she told the manager, she seemed very uninterested. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
