Best Local Spot for Us to Dine with Family or Take Out
Tonight we were treated to dinner by our son at Craft Street Kitchen in Oldsmar. His suggestion, and his treat! How could we go wrong?! We didn't realize that Tuesdays offer a special of $2 off specialty cocktails and martinis (plus a couple of other categories but Matt, our server, had me at the specialty cocktails!). My cucumber gimlet was refreshing and perfectly blended while my husband's smoked old fashion was excellent. Both for $9 with the discount and so tasty. I enjoyed my regular salmon dish with perfectly prepared carrots with a delicious glaze and wild rice that is so yummy it's worth mentioning. The kitchen staff ALWAYS prepared this salmon to the perfect level of doneness. I wish I could go back and learn from them. Not dried out - moist and exquisite flavor and texture! My husband and our son went with Bird is the Word and this dish has been a go-to favorite since the height of the pandemic when we picked up Curbside almost twice a week from Craft Street Kitchen in Oldsmar. They allow you to sub in a different side item if the asparagus doesn't appeal to you. Our son went with the garlic mashed and loved them. The chicken is roasted so wonderfully that it falls off the bone. A dish that is easy to mess up but not this kitchen team. They have the culinary chops to get it right every single time. Our server Matt was so friendly. Such a great vibe about him that you feel like you have known him for a while. He even got the music turned down just a notch in the bar area so that we could hold a conversation. Thank you Matt!

This was our first visit to Craft Street Kitchen. The place has a fun atmosphere and it was very busy. Our server was pleasant, but overly busy and never checked back after our food was delivered. We had a couple of the breakfast handhelds and they were both very good. Prices were fair. I’d like to try more of the menu.

Find this difficult to rate as I really like this place as a bar but don’t rate the food particularly highly! We visit here frequently when staying in Tampa - it is within walking distance of our condo - so do support it as a venue - but if we eat here we generally stick to the burgers as a safe bet though I do love the Cobb Salad. That said the bar is great to sit at the service is very good and the drinks prices are fairly reasonable - I think food prices are on the high side for pub food. If taking advantage of drinks specials check that the server has applied appropriately- can occasionally forget. Still not enough ladies toilets! We will definitely return as regulars on our next visit to Oldsmar later in the year and happy to recommend.

This was my first visit to Craft Street Kitchen in Oldsmar and it won't be my last. We tried the Brunch for this visit. Everything from the service to the food and atmosphere was fantastic. Our server was very attentive and was always checking on us. I ordered the Breakfast Burger. It was cooked perfectly. Then i completed the meal with a slice of the Peanut butter pie, which was fantastic as well. We will certainly be back for another visit.
Be the first to ReplyVery Disappointing Experience
Went here for lunch with a group of friends and was very disappointed! The server was excellent considering it was a large group of people, but the food left a lot to be desired! I ordered the meat loaf, with an overly spicy sauce. They were out of mashed potatoes so I ordered the rice, which was soggy. The asparagus was chewy, but the coffee was good. Would I go back here again, definitely not, as I prefer simple home cooking, and a place not so noisy, so you can carry on a conversation.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and consistently delivers quality food. The appetizers, chicken, and farro bowl are all delicious. Additionally, the cocktails are great.

Great food and service. Ate dinner here with a coworker on a Thursday evening around 6-7 PM. We were visiting a business in the area and someone there recommended Craft Street for dinner. The restaurant was busy but we were seated right away. The service was great and the food was very good. The restaurant was noisy. I ordered the Gumbo and it was delicious.
Be the first to ReplyDo they pay for these good reviews?
Where did these good reviews come from? This place is horrible. It has a weird menu for the sake of being different. It doesn't work. The "pepper shrimp" are cold, frozen fried shrimp with too much pepper. The bartenders don't see anyone over 40. There is just nothing good about the place. All the people that love it can have it...they won't we where I am.
Be the first to ReplyBubba’s Gumbo,
The absolute worst gumbo I have ever had. Way, way too much salt, very little spice although told it was spicy and almost no sausage. Came with several pieces of deep fried dough that served no purpose other than to hide the fact there was only a small portion of gumbo. Server was very good, however, manager seemed little concerned he had a dissatisfied customer.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service at the bar by Madison!
We went in and had some drinks at the bar to order some food to go. All the bartenders were wonderful but I want to thank Madison for all his help taking care of our drinks while waiting for our food to go! Kudos to Madison on his customer service! Thank you from Team Cowart!

We wanted to sit outside, there was a party of about 20,all at one table. Every other table was empty they said we would have to wait because they didn't have enough servers. Okay so we went inside and the service was instant, go figure .Food was okay
just don't order any fried chicken, it taste like fish !
nice stop
really fresh salads, nicely done. well prepared. service is quick and ready to answer any questions we had. worth a detour.

Our second time here, and both times were 5 stars. Tonight, 1/11/22, Megan took good care of us. Especially when Husband took the top off his burger to see one small leaf of lettuce. She brought another that completely covered the burger.
Husband’s burger was good. His French fries were also satisfying. I enjoyed my TBM flatbread, especially with oregano that I requested. I wanted to taste more garlic. It seemed a little bland. Megan offered to bring something else. That wasn’t necessary. She did keep drink glasses full. Thanks, Megan!
Can't go wrong here
Good fresh food, awesome service. Go here once a week and have never been disappointed. one time they were short-staffed and my take-out order was 45 minutes late. They gave the meals for free, in addition to a $50 gift card for my trouble. What awesome customer service.
Be the first to ReplyMenu Changes Leave Me Wanting
Craft Street has been a favorite of ours for years - a "go-to" place we where we meet friends, take out of towners, stop by before or after a movie. Three manager changes and a few menu changes later - its not quite as "go-to" as it used to be.
I love their flatbreads - they spoiled me for any others in any other restaurants. That is, until they deleted the Tuscan Chicken flatbread from the menu - the only one I ate besides sometimes the Brunch one - only available for weekend brunch. Now I have no regular flatbread choice. Three of the four regular ones are all spicy, which I don't do.
Then, there's the Angry Pig sandwich - a long time delicious favorite. It recently disappeared from the menu. Not sure why, there is no other pulled pork type sandwich on the menu now.
Staffing and managerial changes have creating little "dings" in the previously outstanding service and knowledge of the servers.
There are still good things - fun specials, great desserts, rotating beer list - just not as much to get excited about anymore with my menu options reduced.
We will still visit - but the search is on for another favorite restaurant now.
Great
After a morning of Zip line fun at Empower this was a great place to relax and eat. The service and food were excellent.
Be the first to ReplyCan’t cook a burger
We ordered cheeseburgers with side of onion rings after waiting approximately 40 minutes food finally showed up, restaurant maybe at 40% occupied. Served asked how we want burgers cooked and we asked for medium well not dry but think all burgers are precooked to well and dry. Asked for sautéed onions got cold greasy mess of something that resembled onions served cold, imagine onions cooked ahead and kept in grease. Burger was warm at best and 4 onion rings were burnt.
If a restaurant can’t cook a burger right do not feel I’m going to give them another try. Think they need to hire more qualified cooks who care about what comes out of the kitchen. If you want a good burger go to Mystic Fish where food is cooked right and people care about how food is prepared and served.
Nice evening!
Went here with a group of 12 from our condo. Great service and very friendly staff. Food was good but some menu items have changed in the past year I guess due to covid staff cutbacks. I had the chicken Caesar salad and she had Chicken Marsala Delicious. Good drinks and great happy hour prices
Be the first to ReplyLocal Flavor - GO!
Hard to not give a 5 even though we just ate bar food. The sweet potato tater tots with short ribs were an amazing combination of flavors. That was probably enough food but we wanted to try the 3 kings burger. Loved the Kings Hawaiian roll. We shared that. It came with a yummy potato salad side. FULL! ps: the Smoked Old Fashioned is a must try and the Big Top Hawaiian Lion porter is my new favorite craft beer. We sat at the bar and the staff were very attentive and fun to talk with. pss - we didn't think it was noisy.

Stopped in with friends and found the experience outstanding and enjoyable. Mary, our server, was the most knowledgeable server we have had in years. Every suggestion she made turned out to be amazing. Sam, the manager, was very friendly and welcoming. The Jon Gruben sandwich was delicious. The pasta la vista was scrumptious. We topped off our dinner with macadamia nut cheesecake. My wife and I got the desert to share and ended up bringing half of the desert home. This was an experience which will keep us returning to the Craft Street Kitchen many times in the future.
