We love this spot.
We've never had to wait and the service has always been good. It's good for casual dinner with family/friends or a fancy night to celebrate something special. They have a full menu with a variety of options.
The garlic rolls.
I want that to be my whole review but I feel like I need to say more. This restaurant holds a special place in my heart. My wife and I had this food on our wedding day back in 2010. She absolutely loved it and since we were vegetarians at the time, a place with pasta made sense. I think the pasta is really good but not the best. I think their salads are very well composed and delicious but not the best (order extra cheese, this is my wife's tip). What this place is all about is those damn garlic rolls. Once you eat the garlic rolls here you will be chasing the taste of them at every other Italian food place you go. I mean, I guess if you don't like flavor you might not feel as passionate about them as I do but they are incredible. Just like with chicken wings you might have a preference on a dry rub or a sauced wing. These rolls are "sauced". They are not dry. They are soaked with flavor but somehow when you pick them up they fully hold up and have a wonderful bready bite to them. Though I think this is a wonderful restaurant I can't really even comment on the rest of the food because this place starts and ends with garlic rolls. I feel 100% okay with going here and just ordering freaking rolls. The service is garlic rolls, the ambiance is garlic rolls. The location may or may not be garlic rolls. The parking is garlic rolls. Get the garlic rolls for takeout or dine in. This is the end of my review.

We drove from Long Beach specifically for their linguini with clams. After quite a wait, we were served linguini mare by mistake. When we informed our server, his manager responded not with an apology or a correction, but by saying, "Oh no, that will go to the trash." He made no effort to correct the order. We were expecting better service. I requested white sauce on the side, but the overall experience was disappointing. As regular customers who have been coming here for years, we expect more. While the server was excellent and had a great attitude, mistakes happen. However, when the wrong item is served, it should be replaced without making the customer feel guilty about wasted food

Only down side is the weird cocktail charges I ordered a grey goose martini with blue cheese olive and three charges were involved, the martini charge , then the upgrade to grey goose then a $3 charge for the blue cheese olives , a little random and gougy but that's California non sense for you

This is honestly better than Olive Garden and the prices are pretty cheap for being just the two of us! Thank you so much and definitely we will be coming back
Pretty amazing food.
The garlic knots are to die for. With or without butter they're delicious! Wish they had vegan options. That's all that's missing. My family loves this place and we'd dine here more if there were more options for vegans. It's 2024 there's so many food aversions ppl have now that vegan options should be apart of the menu.

I give this place 4 stars because of the ambiance and the service. The food was good. . . Don't know that I will go back, but it's worth the try if you are in the area. I loved my Caesar salad though!! Service was spectacular!!! Really felt like our server cared about making us happy. He was also very helpful!! Unlimited garlic rolls was a lovely touch too! We also ordered cannolis for dessert and the filling just wasn't authentic Italian filling, but the cannoli shells were good. Crazy part is our leftovers tasted better the next day!

i recommend this place for good italian food on the cheaper side, and you get unlimited complimentary garlic twists which are soooooo delicious. Has a slightly campy vibe to the interior design, but trust the food is good quality. My dad loved his dish (pictured below)

I have been coming to C&O's since my LMU days over the last 12 years. We have always gone to celebrate major milestones from finals being over to birthdays and everything in between. Being an Italian restaurant and having family style meals we often come in a large group to enjoy each other's company. This was my first time going back with my baby and we were a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 babies). The entire meal felt rushed. From getting our drinks, to having to order and the bus boys were literally grabbing plates off our table without being asked. If you have kids, especially those who have done or are doing baby led weaning you know they can take a while to eat their food (mind you my brother -who also has an 11 month old and I always take our baby placemats and splat mats so it's a quick/easy clean up) . The garlic knots were somewhat tough on this occasion and not as fresh and they definitely did not come as often as I recall. While we asked for an extra plate for the babies (that never came) we ended up using the garlic knot plates for the babies because they took the appetizer plates (same size plate) that we planned on using. I felt the waiter scolded me for moving next to my baby instead of across from her when the order came out and he got confused... literally moved the chair to the end... nobody else moved. Before we could even contemplate being done the waiter shoved togo boxes (we had not asked for) claiming it looked like we wouldn't be finishing up our plates. Over all, this is not the service or experience I would expect from C&O's and quite frankly left me with a sour taste in my mouth and honestly contemplating if I would ever make the 1 hour+ drive to come out to eat here anymore.

Whew! That drive from Long Beach to Marina Del Rey was worth it. I had the Chicken Marsala! It was so scrumptious I completely forgot to take a picture! Take a peek online tho, it's exactly like it's plated and pictured!! My group had different items and everyone was pleased. Can we talk about the warm and savory garlic knots! I will be back. Our server was attentive and checked on us frequently. They have a valet parking lot that was $9.00. Bathrooms are nice and clean too.

Had not been here in years, after a disappointing experience with another PDR "Italian" place for a friends birthday, we had to make it up to him!! Took him to C&O and have already been back a second time. Garlic knots are phenomenal and always delivered!! Portions are GIANT even for the small ones (LOL, learned our lesson the first visit that gargantuan is too big - inless you want to take a bunch home). Service is great!! I wish they had a good IPA on draft but they do have Sculpin so I can survive, wife LOVES the place and talks about it days after we are gone. I am not allowed to touch those "left overs", LOL

C n o is known for It's unlimited and delicious garlic rolls. The food is delicious and authentic, the portions are generous, the prices are moderate, the service Is prompt and attentive.
Has gone downhill of late
C&O has gone downhill of late. The “killer” garlic rolls are no longer killer. We ordered chicken breast and they were very dry and lacking in flavor. I asked for some garlic rolls to take home with our leftovers and the owner/manager said that they usually do not do that; I thought that was a rude answer given that my party’s bill was over $700. On the positive side, the bartender topped off our drinks for free before we headed over to the dining room.
Recommended!
A really cozy and pleasant restaurant with friendly staff. We ate pasta with scallops and asparagus among other things. Fantastically good! Their bread is outstanding!

Forget trying to snipe reservations online by waking up early and booking top restaurants at Carbone or Tatiana or Cote or 4Charles. After 2.5 months of booking reservations by setting up alarms, waking up early to sell appointments. It’s very hard to cash out on this app. During cash out, you have to pay $5 fee +3% transactions fee and max payout per day is $150.
Advice to new users:
- do not mass book reservations
- fill bids only
- don’t try to book reservations online, you need connections and call the restaurant
After putting in about 40 hours of work, I’ve made about $750 sale on this platform but gotten paid $0. Take this with a grain of salt.

I’m sorry to hear these negative experiences some of you have experienced. There is definitely a learning curve. The main reason the listings are not selling is that too many new sellers have been listing hundreds if not thousands of reservations for sale. If there are 30 reservations listed for sale at the same restaurant on the same night maybe 2 will sell. That will leave 28 unsold reservations and if you want to sell you would have to be the lowest price listed. The value is gone if you have to drop your price to $10.
Several sellers have offered training but sadly no one seemed interested.
The money you have earned is yours but you just need to keep your numbers up.

I’m sorry to see your numbers so low with 397 unsold and zero sold. You should reach out to whoever sponsored you as a concierge intern. That person should be happy to help you get moving in the right direction. I have sponsored a few people and I always take the time to help them with their sales.

Yeah I did exactly what you just said not to do. Mass booked. Tried different markets. Got black listed on Resy. Found other oddball places people keep looking for but STILL have not made one sale. And it will statistically take me 100% of the next 100 sales to get paid per this new sell-through rule. I used this as a fun little side challenge during my down time at work and if any of the 600+ connections I added ever take off, it might be worth the “claim” Lol but to hear you say after $750 in sales you have yet to see a penny, I wish I had this advice 2 months ago myself before I made the mental commitment 🙄
