Booking issues
We booked a table for Saturday night 7:30pm 25th March on the website. Received a confirmation email of the booking no problem and then another reminder email of our booking on the Saturday morning. We arrived just before our booked time of 7:30pm to be advised they had no record of the booking. No one could explain how this could be the case despite the confirmation email we had received from them. We were asked if we had paid a deposit which we hadn’t, at no point in the booking process we’re we asked to pay a deposit. Not able to fit us in and so we had to try and find somewhere else to eat. Strongly suggest you review your online booking system as there is clearly an issue. Very disappointing experience all round.
Be the first to ReplyCracking Greek dining in town.
Lovely Greek food at very reasonable prices. 4 of us visited before going to a gig in town and thoroughly enjoyed it. Huge portion sizes and friendly helpful staff. Drinks prices good for City Centre too. Couldn’t fault it!
Be the first to ReplyNice food but no entertainment on the “party menu”
The food was really nice, I would recommend the halloumi fries and moussaka. However, I wouldn’t recommend going whilst it is the ‘party menu’ (from 5:30pm Friday-Saturday) which was meant to be dinner and dancing, which justified a limited menu. This is £35 per head. We were really excited about the entertainment aspect of this night but whilst there from 7pm- 9:30pm there was nothing. I asked one of the waitress’ about the entertainment and she seemed very confused, making us feel like we paid for service/experience we didn’t get.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and value for money
Went with friends from the South Coast who were amazed at the quality of the food and the price. Everyone is so friendly too. Definitely recommend.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing and highly recommended
We came to Christakis after hearing amazing things about it and we were not disappointed! Great food, great atmosphere, great staff and great value! Could not fault a single thing, and I would sell a limb to be able to live on nothing but the hummus and halloumi. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyGood food and atmosphere. Awful welcome and attitude.
I’d booked four days before and had an email confirmation. So why the host/under manager said I didn’t have a booking on his list, and that when I showed him the email said I was 30 minutes late (we were 5 minutes late - as I showed him on the iPhone) I’ve no idea. He then showed us reluctantly to an empty table on its own, near the entry door, outside temperature 2C. Not an impressive start - rude, obnoxious man, clearly didn’t want us there as a two, when large groups were arriving. Onwards and upwards - good food, great liver dish, nice pitta, generally good honest Greek dishes. Increasingly great buzz in a very busy Saturday night, with large groups. We were given free Metaxa and coffee to move from our table by c 20.15 - so at least the boss knew how to manage customers properly.! So - apart from the awful beginning….
Be the first to ReplyFriday night menu
Having heard such great things about Christakis I was eager to go. I booked for 7:30pm on the Friday night- on the website there was no hint at it being a set menu in these hours. When we arrived they had no record of the booking despite getting a number of emails prior. As we were unaware it was a set menu we asked to see the original menu and were told no that was the only option at £30 per person. The starters were good we had a Greek salad, garlic mushrooms and halloumi fries. The mains even came and we clarified one of the mains was GF- it was clearly wrote on the menu that the option chosen was GF however when we clarified we're told it's not. They happily took the plate back and ensured us it was made fresh again. Then baklava the desert (only desert option) we had to ask for. We were told that the set menu was the only option as it would turn into a party with Greek dancing. It got to 9:45pm before any party started and this was dimming the lights and a dj. If it was clear it was a set menu during this time I would not have gone due to limited options for different dietary requirements. My experience is solely based off the set menu option.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic!
From the time we set foot in the restaurant we couldn't fault a thing. We were greeted politely, shown to our table immediately, the service was great, food was lovely and the owner was exceptional! There's a fantastic atmosphere at this place, the vibe was just like being in Cyprus! You could tell it was family run. Our children requested zorba music to dance to which they happily obliged with. I would recommend this place to anybody and we'll definitely be back!

Be the first to ReplyBest Greek food in Liverpool
Fabulous Greek food served in a loverly environment with attentive staff, especially Jen! Can’t fault a thing about our experience. More food then we could eat, took some back with us and had it for breakfast, it was that good.
Nicely chilled Retisina accompanied the meal. Perfection.
First time visit
First visit to the restaurant and wasn’t disappointed
Food was delicious and staff were amazing! Definitely visit again
Great value for money too as we ate from the early dining menu which was 2 courses for £10
Sunday afternoon Lunch, so lucky we went.
Can't recommend this restaurant enough, food amazing, great value,
Surroundings very nice, service 1st class, especially Oliver, we also go regularly to Christakis in Aigburth Road, think Duke Street may have a slight lead, ca not recommend this restaurant enough a must place to visit, the early evening menu is such good value, you get plenty to eat.
Brilliant night
We went here for a birthday party meal. The food was brilliant and it was a fun night with dancing. Would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully return next time we are in Liverpool.

Lovely Meal
Birthday meal for family, lovely place, chilled and friendly vibe, the only thing that was better than the food were the fantastic staff.
Thanks!
We'll definitely be coming back.
Amazing restaurant for a family celebration
Family birthday celebration, we attended last night. It was brilliant in every single way. Food. Entertainment and service. I have messages all morning off family members saying the same
Be the first to ReplyFabulous meal and fabulous people
Me and my mum just came back from having a fantastic, authentic meal at the restaurant. Not only was it really good value for money, but we usually really struggle to find a restaurant that cooks on charcoal. Christakis does this and exceeded our expectations in flavour, presentation, generous portions and customer service. A special shout out to the two lovely waitresses Leah and Ale who were very friendly and made our evening special. Not to forget the chef and his wonderful culinary delights. Finally, the owner Renos introduced himself to us and was absolutely wonderful and made us feel at home. I used to go here a couple of times when I was a uni student and before it was on Duke street, but when I come back to Liverpool in the future with my friends and family I will not hesitate to visit here again. I will also spread the word to any of my friends who visit Liverpool!
