Carmine's Italian Restaurant - Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Best lunch in Vegas
This is by far the best lunch in Las Vegas. Great preparation at reasonable prices. John the manager is gregarious and oversees a great dining experience.
Home Italian taste with portions!
I have been many time at Carmine’s and have to say the footd is really Italian taste. Just consider the portion 3x bigger then what we do in Italy thus seasfood spaghetti for one is actually for 3! Today I tried the steak, fabulous teder and crispy that nake you biting till the T bone
Delicious late night dinner!
Great experience at Carmine's. We have visited in the past and enjoyed it as well. I will say being seated on the bottom level near the front of the restaurant this time was nice for views and noise. We've been seated on the top level in the past and the noise level was almost to loud to enjoy dinner. As it is family style dining, we ordered one Caesar Salad, one Chicken Parmesan and a half order of Cheesecake. All delicious and perfect portions for our party of four people. Looking forward to coming back again soon.
Excellent food and Service
Service and food were excellent. We had a large party and were seated upstairs in a private room. Nelse and Becca were personable, friendly, professional and thorough. The different dishes they brought out were delicious. There was something for everyone. We loved that we could pick and choose how much of what we wanted from each dish they brought out “family style”. They kept our water and drinks filled and ensured we had everything we needed. I especially loved that when I asked Nelse for his name so I could write a review he included Becca’s name on the card. We’ve been to Carmines in New York but this was our first visit to Carmines in Vegas. We were not disappointed! Thanks again for the fabulous and attentive service from Nelse and Becca.
Lovely meal
Excellent food, the service is different with sharing plates. But once we got the hang of it we managed to order far too much (as per), but the quality was excellent. Service was very good, would definitely revisit if in town.
Go hungry! Large portions and so good!
Tried this on the recommendation of a friend. Only thing he didn’t tell us was it’s family style dining which means if there’s only two dining you’ll get way more than the two of you can eat! We shared a plate of the spaghetti & meatballs. It was delicious! Melt in your mouth, tasty meatballs in a sauce that was so good! We were seated at a perfect table, upstairs overlooking the large dining room downstairs. Most tables had several diners seated at each one. Apparently they knew it was family style! Haha Good service by Helana. She was attentive and did a nice job taking care of us. The only “question” I have is why their wine is served in a “juice glass”? On the picture I’ve included you can see a small glass beside my daughter’s wine glass. She couldn’t believe they served her red wine in this small glass and had to ask for a “real” wine glass. Not sure why this is their policy but was quite strange in my opinion. Definitely make reservations!
A great dining experience
We enjoy dining at this restaurant every time we come to Las Vegas. The food is great, service is excellent & staff are always pleasant & courteous. We recommend making reservations & also we recommend dining here. It’s the best!

After a terrible experience at Hell's Kitchen, we decided to try Carmine's the next night in town. We LOVE the NY location and I must say that I think I loved this one even more. Everything went right. The server was amazing, didn't rush us at all and actually listened to our preferences. Food was amazing and they even gave us a half portion of pasta since it was just the two of us. The bread service was delicious. The salad and chicken parm was just how I remember and the sangria was large and tasty. The restaurant was romantic and lovely. When we are in town for business again, we will come here!

Was greeted by the front but was told as a single diner I was not welcome. Might be great for families and was looking forward to trying some of the items but was informed no single diners.

Food was great and servers were nice, feels like an old restaurant and the place was clean. The food was hot as well. Delicious!!

The hostess that sat us was extremely cheerful and friendly! Our server was pretty much nonexistent. We didn't even talk to our server until it was time for our food to get boxed to go. He didn't take our order or check on us. The food portions are huge! They were out of a few items on the menu. The person that took our order told us sautéed spinach comes with the Veal Marsala. That was not the case. It's noisy but it looks like a great place to gather with large groups. The food is good but the meatballs were not hot. Overall, still would recommend, despite a few hiccups.
Mega lunch meal!!! Carmines in Vegas is a family style
Mega lunch meal!!! Carmines in Vegas is a family style Italian restaurant that serves 3-8 people on some of these dishes! It's very different then a Carmine's near you! This is definitely somewhere to go if you're with a huge group of people.... because you WILL NOT finish the food alone.... unless you're down for a challenge ;) very tasty! Clams, penne de pasta, and a Philly cheesesteak The service was outstanding!

Kris with a K HOOKED US UPPPP!!! went with all my friends to vegas and we went here to dinner, hands down my favorite dinner of the weekend. if you go ask for Kris, wouldn't of been the same without him
Loved the food and the service.
Ton of vegetarian options We took fried zucchini, portobello parmigiana and mozzarella peppers. All of them very tasty and big portions. Our waiter was so sweet and helpful too For sure coming back to this place whenever in Vegas

Excellent food and service! Waiters do a great job by not letting you over order (family style portions)
I love the ambiance here it's a bit dim, romantic, and cozy.
Come here hungry because it's family style and the serving size is large. We ordered the baked mushrooms and it came out piping hot and cheesy with lots of sauce. We loved it! Then we had rigatoni pasta with white sauce. It's not the creamy style of white sauce you're familiar with but a light clear olive oil, garlic, chicken stock type. Very delicious and we added chicken to it. Our server was friendly and helpful with menu since it was our first time here. We will definitely be back when we're back in town.
10 Eggs?!!! I ordered the Caprese Frittatta.
It had 10 eggs, Diced Tomato and Mozarella. It was HUGE. We didn't even put a dent in it. Service was good, and I hope to stop by for dinner one day.
Great food, exceptional service and gluten free options!
Our waitress Jane was incredible and made the entire experience. She did a great job describing the menu and letting us know the gluten free options.
Great dinner
We always go to Carmine's if its in a city we are visiting. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. We had a reservation so did not wait long at all for a table. Service was fast and friendly as well.
Best Italian Food in Las Vegas
Family friendly. Casual. Excellent Service. Excellent food. Family ordering style. Highly recommend. Best Italian food in Las Vegas.
It's very costly, but mind blowing as to how good this food
It's very costly, but mind blowing as to how good this food is. I've been here a few times on a date, its a bit expensive, but the service is great Wonderful people and loe the food they had. Would highly recommend coming here.
Awesome, LOUD, large plate free for all.
We had a blast. Great service, no menus, no posted prices. $500 for (4) with a steady flow of drinks.
This restaurant started out in New York in the 70s and I
This restaurant started out in New York in the 70s and I don't know when they open the Las Vegas branch but supposedly the rat pack hung out there and it's an unusual restaurant. They serve you about four or five different kinds of bread and a picture of water on the table and, their dishes are meant to serve a lot more than two people. It was just my wife and I walked out of there with a shopping bag full of delicious food that we couldn't possibly eat. The salad was all these different vegetables. It was huge enough for four or five or six people with the house dressing it was delicious, then we ordered pasta with salmon done in Arrabiata sauce. It was phenomenal and they surrounded the plate with clams which I tried. I've never eaten them before and they were delicious and the salmon 11 inches long by 8 inches wide and an inch and a half thick there's no way two people could finish that in 3 miles between them, but it was wonderful. The bill was expensive. It came with the tip 160 bucks but this was our last night in Vegas so it was worth it great place and easy five star.
Delicious as always! Ordered the chicken scarpariello over
Delicious as always! Ordered the chicken scarpariello over a bed of angel hair. When the food arrived I was asked, "Do you know that you ordered the best thing on the menu?" Yes.. of course I know that. It's what we have always ordered when eating at Carmine's in NY.
Hated it.
It's like a Olive Garden level food. The bread is not sourdough. They do not serve it with butter they don't even have olive oil or balsamic vinegar at the table and you could forget garlic just a basket of random pieces of bread . Strawberry shortcake was awful. Do not get it they don't use shortbread they use some kind of chocolate swirl slices of bread that are soaked in some kind of sweet, alcoholic syrup. It is awful. The strawberries are scant compared to the amount of bread. The white sauce has no flavor (linguini seafood) the pasta taste doughy. Being I'm a Sicilian my expectations are held in high regard. The service was excellent. Wish I could say the same about the food.
Really delicious food and great service from Juan!
Really delicious food and great service from Juan! Definitely coming back and bringing the family . Such a pretty restaurant as well. Big portions
Outstanding start to finish
Meagan was outstanding, the food and portions were amazing! Atmosphere was fantastic as well. Definitely recommend to anyone in Vegas.
Great dining Experience.
Our waiter Dexter was remarkable. He was impeccable on his detail to providing an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Something you don't see very often anymore. He answered any and all questions and at no time attempting to rush us during our dinner. Was a Great dinner experience, So if your at Carmine's for Dinner Ask for DEXTER.
We had a great time.
We went for the big tomahawk T-bone withe extras and the seafood platter. If you want to see a feast on your table that will leave a lasting memory, make sure you order those. Of course you need to be with a group, otherwise it is way too much. We were with 7. Great service, food came out quick. Make sure you get reservations before you arrive.

Wow! What a fantastic dinner at Carmine's last night! A group of us met here to celebrate a friend's birthday and had such a great time. Our server, Dexter, was fantastic and made recommendations for us on what to order. Dinner is served family style so we all shared Penne a La vodka, meatballs, and Chicken Contadina. There was so much food! Loved the meatballs!! If you're in Vegas and looking for a great dinner spot, I definitely recommend Carmine's!
Great service from Carmen (he's a guy!) and his associates.
The food was excellent, especially the meatballs and pudding. Great selection of entrees on the menu. Everybody in our large group enjoyed their food. Atmosphere was very comfortable.
Looking for a last minute reservation in Vegas, we came
Looking for a last minute reservation in Vegas, we came across Carmine's. It had good reviews so we decided to check it out. The service was impeccable and very friendly. The place was cute and decked out in Vegas fashion but the few fell pretty flat. The bread service definitely needed oil with it. The portions are GIANT (they said it's family style and feeds 4) so we split a chicken Parmesan with pasta. The pasta was a little more al dente than either of us would have liked. While the chicken was fine, I'd definitely wasn't great. If in Vegas again, I'd probably try something else however the prices weren't bad for the Vegas strip.
Great Food and service. Ask for Josh's section.
We've been eating at Carmine's in NYC since the mid 90's and recently visited the Las Vegas location. It was another great meal but we were most impressed with our waiter Josh who was terrific. He was super friendly, attentive and made our evening that much better.
Terrible service, terrible food, felt sick after eating the
Terrible service, terrible food, felt sick after eating the meatballs. Never again. All things terrible for that much of the price.
Amazing Carmine’s Experience
The best italian food ever! The service is outstanding, too! Hats off to the Las Vegas branch team. We had our two consecutive family dinner during our trip to Las Vegas and it was a blast! Special thanks to Jessica, Ron, and Ken. See you all again, soon! Salute
I recommend!
Restaurant internationally recognized for its quality and value for money. Food served in a welcoming atmosphere. We recommend!
Good Italian food to share
The hardest things is to agree on the meals we wanted to share. Large portions, it was very good. We had Caesar’s salad and rigatoni with sausages and broccoli.🥦
Al Dente's Demise: A Tale of Too Much at Carmine's
In a city where sin is a selling point and indulgence is the name of the game, my valiant crew and I ventured into Carmine's Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas, a venue that promised an escape to the old country, only to find ourselves embroiled in an epic saga of pasta misadventure that would leave even Odysseus scratching his head. The opening act was a Garlic Bread Parmigiana that swaggered onto our table with the confidence of a heavyweight champion, laden with more cheese and garlic than the laws of culinary decency would dictate. This wasn't just an appetizer; it was a statement—a declaration of war on the very concept of hunger, perhaps even a subtle nod to America's love affair with excess. As we navigated through the antipasto, a sprawling atlas of meats and cheeses unfolded before us, a testament not to the art of Italian cuisine but to the American mantra of 'bigger is better.' It was as if Carmine's was challenging us to a duel of digestion, armed with nothing but our forks and a rapidly waning will. Then came the main event, the pièce de résistance: a Penne Alla Vodka that was so overcooked, it could have easily doubled as an exhibit in a museum of culinary atrocities. In this dish, we found not the al dente nirvana promised by Italian grandmothers and Michelin-starred chefs, but a soggy wasteland where pasta goes to die—a culinary faux pas that would have Nonna turning in her grave. It appears that in the great American kitchen, the art of cooking pasta to that perfect 'al dente'—a term that seems to have been lost in translation—has been replaced with a more is more philosophy, where the only thing al dente is the diner's patience. This phenomenon isn't just a tragedy; it's a missed opportunity for cultural exchange, a culinary Tower of Babel where the language of pasta is spoken in wildly different dialects. As if to add insult to injury, the service meandered through the evening like a lost tourist in Venice, further compounding our dining despair. By the end of the meal, it was clear that Carmine's, in its quest to serve up a slice of Italy, had instead delivered a heaping helping of Americanized Italian—a hearty, heaping portion of misunderstanding garnished with a sprig of disappointment. In conclusion, Carmine's stands as a monument to the great American culinary misunderstanding—a place where pasta's delicate balance is bulldozed under the weight of excess, and where the subtleties of Italian cooking are lost in translation. It's a restaurant best suited for those who believe that when it comes to food, more is always better, regardless of the quality. For those in search of the elusive al dente pasta outside of Italy, the quest continues—preferably far from the reaches of Carmine's kitchen. #neveragain
Offer Rollatini, bring back HH food!
Disappointed that they changed the menu and took away happy hour food items, but mostly because you can’t order the Eggplant Rollatini by itself. They make you other it in a bundle (hot anti-pasta) which includes mussels and clams (which both are gross to me)! This makes no sense. Please put the Eggplant Rollatini on the appetizer menu by itself! The whole reason I came to Vegas was for the Rollatini!
Great food and Service
Every time we come to Vegas we make a reservation here. We love the casual atmosphere and the food is wonderful. This trip was made extra special by our waiter Edwin H. He was funny, helpful and made our experience a delight. We shared the lemon chicken with linguini pasta, and a delicious bottle of cab. We will continue to frequent here, because of the food and service.
What a Surprise
Had never been here and one of the families we were traveling with made a reservation for us. Food was great and such a surprise. Not fine dining or anything but really good. I was expecting Olive Garden type quality but this food was fantastic. Fun family style dining atmosphere and restaurant is just a fun place for a group to eat (two families totalling 8 diners). Enjoyed a wide ranch of entrees and salads. Well made cocktails. Wine list is not great but that is just about the only knock I can think of. Service was good, portions huge, and food quality exceeded expectations so highly recommend.
