I ordered the breakfast sandwich, and it was delicious.
They offered a good variety of vegetarian options. The atmosphere was pleasant, although quite busy due to St. Patrick's weekend. Surprisingly, we didn't need a reservation, and they seated us fairly quickly.

Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I chose Capo for a belated Valentine's dinner
My wife and I chose Capo for a belated Valentine's dinner having never eaten there in the past but hearing good things. The waitstaff were hospitable and knowledged. We ordered the caprese dish and Italian gigante beans as our appetizers, both were fantastic. Our cocktails were also well-made and unique. However, we both had issues with our entrees. My wife ordered the chicken marsala. What was served was not chicken marsala. The chicken was flat and breaded like a schnitzel, and the small amount of marsala sauce was underneath the chicken, effectively making the bottom of the chicken soggy while the top remained crispy. Despite the dish not being what it claimed to be, we would not have complained. I ordered the ravioli pomodoro. The serving size was actually bigger than I expected. I ate 2-3 raviolis and they were delicious. But the next ravioli was sour and I had to spit it out on my plate. I continued and ate another ravioli, perfectly fine. The next one, very bad and again I spit it out. I stopped eating the dish at this point and pushed it to the side. I let the server know that it seemed that the ricotta had gone bad in about half the raviolis. She apologized but did not take the plate away. She offered some gelato for the issue which my wife ate. But when she brought the check I was still charged for the raviolis. Unfortunately we decided that despite the initially positive experience, we won't return here if they are unwilling to remove an item from the bill when the diner informs them that the food is inedible. I paid the bill and tipped the server well, but that will be our last visit.
Be the first to Replyreserved Valentine's Day table months in advance.
stuck us on corner booth where we couldn't face each other. Waitress told us she'd be a minute and left for 20, until I got up and complained to the hostess. asked for chair so I could face my date, manager claimed fire hazard?? Was told in advance that meal option could be made gluten free, told otherwise when we got there. horrible horrible don't ever come here, they treated us horribly on a date that was supposed to be special.

After a previous bad experience, I came back and had a great time. The bar tender was nice and the capri sun was just as good as I remember. The ambiance is always nice and dim. Our server came often but one of our dishes came out a good amount of time later than the rest so she may have forgot one? Not a big deal. The sausage pizza was the highlight for me but the truffle pizza and the vodka pasta were also hits
Be the first to ReplyThe pasta here is really great.
I went here on a Saturday night for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised. It's definitely one of the more upscale restaurants that southie has to offer. The agnolotti was delicious but a very small portion. I also got a mocktail that was not on the menu and loved that as well. Our server was great at accommodating this. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is for the loud volume and the tables being so close together. I had to raise my voice to talk and I felt like there was no privacy with the neighboring tables being so close.

Every Tuesday is gluten-free night! If you are gluten-free, and in the Boston area, you absolutely must go. You can get everything from the bread, pizza, pasta, fried items, all gluten-free that evening. My understanding is that they do the deep clean the day before that's why everything can be gluten-free and there is no wheat in the oven. The meatballs are my favorite! They are not gluten-free other nights, so definitely make sure that you get them when you are there ! Can't wait to go to another gluten-free night !

Sat us late after we had reservations and after an hour and half asked to move to the bar. We had a party of 10 people.
Be the first to ReplyThe atmosphere was great and the menu is very big.
However, I found the food to be really sub par. I ordered a pizza and my buddy got the pasta neither of us thought either dish was good.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is almost 10/10 for me.
The ambiance is casual but classy, our dinner being set to a great playlist. The staff is abundant, friendly, prompt, and helpful. It is very busy on the weekend so it is quite loud and also crowded in the front near the host stand and doors. But busy is always a good sign. And for good reason. I had never eaten here before until now, only having just visited the bar in the basement, but the food was very good-very reasonably priced for quality and quantity. Drinks were nice as well. The tiramisu is a must. I lived in Boston for years and now live in a foodie city that makes most Boston restaurants disappointing to me, but this really stood out! I'd love to come back!

Amazing service love the gluten free options especially gluten free nights on Tuesdays. The place is a chill nice romantic vibe
Be the first to ReplyDefinitely racist.
A drunk girl came up to me to spill my drink and they kicked me out. It was Mike the bouncer. I've never been to any spot in Boston where they kicked me out if someone else spilled my drink.
Be the first to Replyliterally the best caesar salad i have consumed in my life.
if you have any hesitations about that statement please know that i created this yelp account for the sole purpose of sharing that piece of information with the general public. it was fresh and crisp. the staff was friendly, the ambiance lovely. would definitely recommend!
Be the first to ReplyI've eaten here many times and have always thought the food
I've eaten here many times and have always thought the food is great. That's up to last night. I ordered Chicken Picatta from Uber Eats. The delivery was prompt so that's not to blame. The Picatta was soooo buttery it felt like i was just eating melted butter. I put half in the fridge and this am it is totally gross. Just a solid block of butter. No flavor of white wine or lemon. Just butter and a ton of large capers. I have to believe that this was the work of someone that doesn't normally cook. Absolutely horrible. Felt like crap after eating about 25% of it too. Hopefully you watch what goes out the door more in the future and if this is your recipe I suggest more white wine and lemon and about 3 sticks less butter!

As someone with celiac in Boston; dining out isn't always easy. But dinner here was so delicious. We came for gluten free/Taylor swift night and to celebrate my bday. The food was really delicious and we would all absolutely come back. I had so many of the gluten free appetizers, and had the risotto as my entree. For dessert I had a delicious chocolate cake with coffee ice cream. Everyone else with me is not gluten free and they loved their gluten free food here. I will absolutely be back and am so thankful this restaurant offers such a safe option for people who need to eat gluten free.
Be the first to Replywish i could give zero stars.
two things to sum this place up. full of cockroaches. but worse than that, a bartender with an open wound bleeding, poorly bandaged, dripping into drinks he was serving.
Be the first to ReplyWent to the Sinatra supper club for the first time.
On entering the basement where the show is held, it reminded me of those damp, beer-soaked joints of my youth. While the young man (Ritchie?) was a good "entertainer," he sounded nothing like Sinatra. It was more of an Abbott & Costello routine between he and the keyboard guy.....maybe that's all it was supposed to be. We ordered fried calamari for an app and it was barely warm....kind of greasy. My chicken parm was pretty good. Aside from a night out with good friends, I was kind of disappointed.

Second time here, they give good pasta portions, enough to share. The drinks are pretty good and i like how the restaurant isnt cramped like most other italian spots. Lobster ravioli was sent back because no.... giving fishy. But the Margherita pizza was good, bruschetta was three pieces of bread for 9$ but really good. The Caesar salad and penne alla vodka were cool. Also the server didnt give us bread and oil when we first arrived, but as we were finishing up she gave it to every other table around us. Side eye, but its not that deep i guess.

We ordered delivery on the gluten free night, and let me just say that my celiac husband was so grateful and impressed with how delicious the food was. We ordered the garlic bread, the radiatori Alfredo with truffle, the black truffle pizza, and the veal Marsala! Everything was truly 10/10, and you can't even tell it's gluten free! For a restaurant to dedicate a whole night to gluten free is truly appreciated and is needed with the rise of celiac disease worldwide. Highly highly recommend.

After visiting this place for the 3rd time, I will keep coming back for more. Upstairs Bar Area is great. The Main dining room near the open kitchen is fabulous. The Lounge downstairs with this Frank Sinatra singer. I think his name is Rich DiMare? Well it was very entertaining and a great time. Great atmosphere. Everyone seemed to enjoy being there. The specialty drinks are consistent!I cant tell you how many times I have been to a restaurant, where you get somthing slightly different each time. Appitizers are great. Some are traditional, but some on another level. Prosciutto wrapped figs. (Wow) Dinner, the Veal Chop was jucy and well prepared. Raviolli with a Short RIb Bolognese sauce was outstanding. Now lets chat about the service. If I could give an award, it would go to Maddie and the rest of the crew working with her. Outstanding.Very personable, friendly and very hard working. She never stopped. So if you have not checked this place out. Do it. Take a cab or an Uber. Parking is tough sometimes. But this place is worth it.
