An awesome resturant in Cambridge to have a sumptuous brunch.
Visited this awesome resturant in Cambridge while attending my nieceโs graduation in Harvard and loved it. Look out for Aidan and Louise the super waiters. The food is tasty and the service great. The ambiance is fair and we had a wonderful family brunch and will be back whenever am Boston. You will love this place. Make sure you visit when next in the Cambridge area!
Be the first to ReplyA Breath of Fresh Breakfast
I love breakfast! And friends, I am sad to say that I have been disappointed by breakfasts in the past, but not by this one! This was phenomenal. Everything from the sweet to the savory was breakfast magic. Lemon berry pancakes, churro French toast, and loaded home fries, oh my! Pineapple mimosas? Delish! Our server Aiden(?we think?), was efficient and super friendly, food came out fast. Oat latte to go? Perfection. Seriously, our only regret was that we could not try everything on the menu. We will be back! Iโd give the breakfast 6 stars if it was an option.
Be the first to ReplyOUTSTANDING...FRIENDLY....Family owned ....LOVED.
There isn't enough good to say about this restaurant...we went 2 days in a row. We had breakfast one day and BRUNCH...the other which meant you could have eggs benedict, many ways. The staff went our of their way to accomodate everyone. An amazing menu...so many interesting items.
Be the first to ReplyGood Vibes
Very interesting place to visit on MIT's campus. Very hip place with excellent fare but not fancy at all. Came here with family for lunch just dropping by after a campus tour. Saw excellent reviews and decided: good place to have lunch. If we knew we would have made reservations but I digress. We were seated almost immediately since I guess we came before lunch so it would made sense. The place was busy and I mean really busy. Kids had pancakes (Cookie Monster and Just Pancakes with berries). They said it was too much food. We had ... omelets.... I am not sure of the name right now because it was too good so I inhaled it.... (I think the menu may have changed though, can't find it now) Definitely need to have a reminder visit.
Be the first to ReplyWonderfully Catered Event
Teri and her team provided a full day of catering for our event at MIT's The Engine. We had a hot breakfast, hot lunch and a reception with hot and cold hors d'oeuvres. We are talking about catering for 150 and it was done perfectly. The food quality was excellent, and we received many compliments regarding the food. Thank you so much for making our event such as success!

The food was delicious with great drinks. I ordered the kitchen sink which included French toast, chicken sausage, bacon, delicious potatoes and eggs. I washed it down with a mango margarita.
Be the first to ReplyGood food, good location, service can be better
We had a breakfast with the family at this restaurant. It is on a very good location. The restaurant is quite casual and has nice outdoor seating as well. The menu quite versatile with lots of American breakfast options, as well as Mexican options. The food is well served and delicious. The service could be better, we had to wait quite a while to get a silverware after our food was served and waiting to get cold. I guess it is because it is a quite busy place. I would still recommend since the taste was really good.
Be the first to ReplyI challenge you to find a better breakfast
This was our third time eating at cafe luna and somehow it got better. We like everything so much my wife and I usually get an egg dish for ourselves and then share a sweet dish such as a pancakes or french toast. For such an extensive menu, everything is fresh and absolutely delicious. There is something for everyone. The service is always kind and prompt and you never wait long for your food. With a smaller footprint, they know how to move people in and out. A few tips: 1. A reservation is best but they do take walk ins (we couldn't get a reso the first time we ate). If you're going during a busy time (i.e anytime on the weekend) you can expect to wait upwards of an hour without a reservation, but if you make the time it's totally worth it. 2. It is a small restaurant and seating is very close so if you're looking for something quiet and intimate this is not the place for that. It is a lively atmosphere (which I feel brings a nice energy for breakfast), but keep in mind you are close enough to eat off your neighbor's plate, but that has never bothered us.
Be the first to ReplyNew Year's Day Brunch: A+!
We were going to a Harvard hockey game later in the day and hoped for a fun brunch to break in 2023. Did we ever find it! Place was packed, they seated us exactly at the time of our reservations. We had two people who waited on us and both of them were absolutely off the wall great. I had never had a lobster eggs benedict before but let me tell you it was heavenly. Huge chunks of lobster under hollandaise poached eggs? Oh, my. And my better half had eggs over corned beef hash that were so good she almost died. Topped off by Irish coffees, we ushered in the new year big time. And Harvard crushed Northeastern an hour or two later.
Be the first to ReplyFood was expensive
Food was okay but expensive for what we got, waitress was great though, very helpful. Biscuits were flat and over cooked and I had to ask for butter.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food, but beware of host!
Cafe Luna was recommended to us by our hotel when we arrived in town. There were no available tables for breakfast and we did not know that we needed reservations, so we asked the host if we could order the food to go. The host obliged and took our order. We paid with a credit card that has a chip and signed the receipt on an electronic tablet. Our food came and it was everything that the hotel told us it would beโtasty, rich, and delicious. The problem came when we were putting the food bag into the recycling that evening and noticed the receipt inside of the bag. Well, the host added a 20% tip to our bill without informing us. This is very unethical. The food is wonderful, but this situation made us weary to return during our stay. We will not be back.
