Just finished a magnificent dinner. The food was full of taste and truly diverse menu. Each dish was 5 star. The service was the best in Singapore.

Our experience at Butcher’s Block was nothing short of incredible.
From the moment you step into the restaurant you are greeted with warmth and enthusiasm for what comes next.
After a tour of the meat store and the kitchen we were taken to our table for our culinary experience yo begin, and begin it did. We chose the a la carte menu and were not disappointed. We left full and satisfied.
A highlight for the evening was the special service provided by the sommelier Faizal. He was attentive, chatty and unsurprisingly knowledgeable. He is passionate and it reflects is all he does. Thank you
Finally as we were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary, we were provided with a beautiful dessert at no charge. The proverbial icing on the cake to a wonderful evening.
I cannot speak more highly of this restaurant. It is expensive without question, but it is neither pretentious nor stingy.
The staff are a credit to the Raffles name and themselves. Again thank you for making our night one we will always remember.
A fine dining establishment with the full package
I first came to this restaurant around July/August 2021 and I have been going back regularly since then. In sum, the restaurant has the full package - classy ambience, great food, outstanding service and yet a comfortable atmosphere to chill. The place has all the finishing touches of a fine dining establishment, yet it is inviting at the same time. I have tried several of their dinner menus and honestly, they are very good. While the place may be known for its steak, I recommend trying other dishes as well. As far as menu choices are concerned, they have set menus and a la carte. If you are not feeling particularly hungry, the a la carte menu is a good option. For starters, if you like seafood, I would highly recommend the oysters. For mains, the range is aplenty. For dessert, I personally enjoy the baked mochi very much. The wine selection is extensive. Apart from the food and atmosphere, the service is the other main factor that keeps bringing me back to this restaurant. Many have helped me navigate through the menus, food and beverage concepts. Nonetheless, I would like to give a shoutout to Chef Jordan, Faizal, Tonny, Catherine and another female staff who very kindly recommended me tea when I was feeling very full and whose name I can't recall (sorry!). If you want a dining establishment to pamper yourself and your friends/family, I highly recommend this place!

A very enjoyable meal even for those who are not into meats. The restaurant offers a good selection of other small bites that are updated seasonally. Other than their food, their service is excellent too.
Some tables have a nice view of the open concept kitchen so request for one if you would like to see the friendly team in action.
Very Bad experience for Steak Meal!
Service Staff was pushing us to order the expensive Menu. When we declined, they pulled on a SULKY FACE and walked away!
It was the same reaction when we tried to order through another service staff! It appeared that there was an amount Targeted per table.
Also we found it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to understand because of their ACCENT!
Beef selection was priced between $60-80/100g.
Wine was priced EXORBITANTLY!
Their dishes appeared to be SMOKED food!
Good for steak..
We tried this restaurant on 23rd Dec for dinner, the ambience were lovely, very nice cosy place. We ordered their “festive tour de force” (consist of about 11 tasting menu).
Most of it were cooked excellent! Thanks to the chefs,…
except the “tur-duc-ken” (the taste very much not to our liking.., we didn’t finish this one) , I wished they didn’t include this in their tasting menu.
Probably their best menu is actually steak.
For service, most of the waiters really kind and friendly.. ,
however, one of the waitress always seems in the hurry, i wanted to order coffee by end of the course.. by then it was around 7.50pm+, and we’re waiting with last (dessert) to be served.. but when i told her that we plan to order coffee..
she told me that “we needed the table back by 8pm”… :((
i feel her comments was such a turned off, for this kind of high caliber restaurant….
weird cos in the booking written in my email that i could have the table till 8.15pm.
And about 7.53pm+ she served the dessert, they expected us to gulp it down within few mins left… ??
In the end we’ll just skip the coffee and get out fast after the dessert.
Because of the service , I don’t think we’ll want to be back here again, maybe this place only okay for those casual days that we’re not celebrating anything special (Christmas, birthday, etc)…
Great Steak! but some hits and misses on other dishes
Just visited this place few days ago and I would say most of the food items are great.
Ambience 9/10: beautifully decorated and cosy. Love the walk in chiller at the front door that presented chef Jordan's aged meats and fish.
Food 7/10: As we are not so hungry and we have opted for a la carte items. Had the hamachi tempura and uni bao, both tastes great and texture are good too. Personally just felt something is missing, probably our taste buds are leaning towards stronger flavour - it's good but there's no punch or wow for us. Interestingly, we are trying to figure out chef's interpretation of "bao" as it is not as what we expected as local that it is the Asian round bun with filling inside.
7/10: We are deciding on the duck or the octopus but in the end we decided to go with the staff's recommendation - dry age duck. Duck tastes great together with the condiments and the sauce (sauce is a divine!) However, as they had mentioned that this dish is good for sharing but it comes with 4 thin slices of duck breast, one block of condiment (i think it is the pate) which is a little bit underwhelming with a hefty price of $44++ per plate (you can refer to the images)
10/10: I think the highlight of the whole evening will be the Wylarah Striploin Wagyu, as we are meat lover, we had opted for 400g which is a perfect size for a couple to share. They charge by per gram, so you can choose the size on the spot to suit your appetite. The meat is cooked to perfection with a nice charred taste to it and the sea salt and the sauce just elevate the entire experience to another level.
9/10: Dessert we had the burnt citrus, coconut pudding, sourdough ice cream and the baked mochi. We love all of it as each individual plates has its own flavours, character and texture to it that bring the whole evening to a "happy ending"
Service 8/10: Service is consistence throughout - Friendly and professional. I love that part the hostess took time to explain the whole concept and the introduction of the unique chiller.
Overall experience is great and we will definitely return either to try the set menu which is about S$218++ per pax or just dive right into the steak! (dun waste time)
Excellent staff with tasty food
Staffs are very friendly n helpful especially Cody who made our dining experience a memorable one. We had striploin, octopus and some other dishes which were very delicious and nicely presented.

Fantastic food and service! We thoroughly enjoyed the Tour de Force tasting menu for my birthday dinner. Flavours and textures were masterfully crafted. Service was impeccable as Tonny Lam and team hosted us and made us comfortable. Many thanks to everyone, keep up the excellent effort! P.s. the champagne was fabulous and pairs very well with all the dishes!

We had booked Butcher's Block for our son's birthday and all I can say is a HUGE THANK YOU to the team for the wonderful experience that we had.
Right from the time that we entered, where they took a couple of minutes to explain their meats, the open cooking concept to making arrangements keeping all protocols in place, the to service and food.
Let me take this opportunity to send our special appreciation to Katherine who served our table with meticulous attention to details. Then we had a wonderful sommelier Faisal who not only recommended good wine but very importantly knew the right amount to pour into a wine glass to enjoy with the food. (Yes it is very annoying when some restaurants over pour into the glass to push)
The food by itself was outstanding and chef kindly came out every time to explain the meats. While the lamb and beef were both excellent, we would like to call out the lobster dish which was simply outstanding.
And finally of course, the restaurant arranged a beautiful cake/dessert for the birthday boy and made a very special evening for us even more memorable as a family.
