Exquisite
This lived up to all our expectations and then some. The food was absolutely declious we shared the fried chicken to start as we had heard so much about it, definitely lived up to the hype. The mash that came with it was incredible and the best mash I've ever eaten (same with the fried chicken which was amazingly moist but not greasy). We had chateaubriand for the main which was cooked to perfection with the sauce flight the peppercorn was the best and the sides were fantastic we tried to frites and the mac and cheese (best mac and cheese ever). Service was good and not obtrusive.

I had eaten here before and very elegant dining Located in the Waldorf Astoria at Disney. This evening, I had lobster bisque as an appetizer, and it actually had a lobster medallion in it. it was absolutely delicious. The main entry was Dover sole, which is very difficult to get, and possibly the best I’ve ever had. They filleted at our table. Afterwards, they brought the bones which had been roasted or something for eating. I had never seen this before. They also have an excellent wine menu.

My 3rd visit in 6 months. Flew in from Pittsburgh to take my daughter for her birthday. Excellent food and service. What changed on this visit is ice tea is now 8.00 per glass. Honestly I never dined somewhere where refills were not included on ice tea: this was not the case in October and January. Difference between good and great experience is always so small and it’s funny what you end up remembering. It’s not the 8.00 as the bill was 600. It’s the principle and you can’t help but feeling that was a bit over the top.

Best restaurant in Orlando. Dining only. It is located inside of the Waldorf Astoria. Restaurant isn't big so make sure you reserve in advance. If you are in luck and they are offering beignets make sure to leave room for them. Services is amazng.

Wow, everything was fantastic! What changed my life was “the lemon.” Save some room for that desert and ask for it early because they run out.
Be the first to ReplyLow occupancy = close an hour early with no notice
We were looking g for a place to eat after a long day at Disney. We heard great things about this place. It was Monday, 2-5-24. The website and Google all said Open until 10pm. We arrived at 9pm and were told that the restaurant kitchen was closed. The bar was open only for drinks. When my husband said it says you’re open until 10pm. The gal said Yes.. but because of low occupancy management decided to close the kitchen early. This is supposed to be a swanky expensive place and they closed an hour before they were supposed to. That’s ridiculous. Then you should t advertise one thing and then do another. We wasted a trip to this place. Our money is as green as the next person’s. Not impressed at all. And the gal was snobby to boot and didn’t care at all. That’s just what management decided. Not an offer to help or anything. Customer service doesn’t exist here.

From the time we were greeted until the time we left, we recieved an excellent experience. We looked at the menu before we even got there but Tim our waiter was attentive and very helpful in giving suggestions for dishes and drinks which would match the tastes we were looking for. The service team was outstanding and provided a pleasant dining experience we didn't feel rushed in any way. We ordered the famous fried chicken dish and a New York sirloin with frites cooked perfectly. The menu is pricey but worth every dime. Thank you for one of the best dinners we ever had.

Firstly, let me express my admiration for the outstanding service provided by Alexie, Diana and Zalina. They have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience for us over the past couple of years. That being said, I must address the recent alterations made to the bar menu after the restaurant's facelift. While the new ambiance is undeniably more inviting, the removal of the fried chicken, which was a favorite among patrons, has left us disheartened. We understand the desire for a refined dining experience and diverse menu options beyond steaks and fish. Unfortunately, we only discovered the removal of this item after making a trip to the restaurant, which has left a negative impression. I wanted to share this feedback respectfully, as your customers, in the hopes that it could contribute to a further improvement of the overall dining experience and the consideration of adding the fried chicken back to the menu.

Our first time dining here. The food was some of the best we have had in many trips, in particular, the chicken and mash was sublime. We knew beforehand that their renovation would not be complete and would be temporarily located in Oscars (which usually hosts breakfast). As we would not be returning to the US for a couple of years we decided to keep our reservation. Sadly it was let down by the lack of ambience. they did little to make it feel like the real Bull & Bear. The door to the hall was left open which was distracting and they wouldn't close it. We will return to the real Bull & Bear on our next trip.

My wife and I went for a special dinner and we were not disappointed. Not only was it one of the best meals of our lives, but Tim and his team went above and beyond servicing us. Tim's knowledge of wines was unreal, making every course better.

First, the service was outstanding! The staff provided excellent recommendations. We started with some exploding pasta and the carpaccio with fries. The presentation was great and equally enjoyable. We also added a fried chicken as an appetizer. This was the best fried chicken we’ve ever eaten. It makes it great to share too. Next, we had the Cesar Salad for two table side. The presentation and explanation was amazing. We shared it amongst four people. It was enough the give everyone a nice taste. For the main course we had the ChateauBriand for two. It was cooked perfectly. You could actually share it between four people. We finished off with the Lemon dessert, strawberry shortcake and the peanut butter cup. The Lemon is dessert was amazing and refreshing. The strawberry shortcake dessert was beautiful, the make the strawberry ice cream table side with nitrogen. Our water glasses never got empty and the wine suggestion was spot on. Definitely coming back!

Our second time and we were again very happy with the experience. First, the drinks were really drinks – none of that watered down stuff. The Caesar Salad is mixed at your table and was absolutely the best we’ve eaten. I had the Tomahawk single prime steak which was delicious even though I would have preferred it slightly more tender. It’s pricey but if you’re dinning here, you already know that. My wife had the smoked salmon which as very good. We shared the bacon mac and cheese side which was tasty and shared a delicious cheesecake for dessert. Overall, it’s a wonderful dinning experience.

During our late September/early October 2022 trip, we decided to try Bull and Bear for the first time. We have been to Orlando a few times but, had never heard of this place, until we started watching some youtube vloggers who all highly recommended this restaurant. I will say, their reviews set the bar high. To start, you get bread services but a little different than expected. instead of a basket of bread on the table, you are present with a basket by the server and you can choose as many, or as little, as you would like. I went with the brioche and walnut/fruit bread. Both were very good; the walnut being my favorite. Next, we were given an amuse to start. Just one bite and, on this night, it was a bite of beef. Delicious. We each got the shrimp cocktail appetizer. You get three shrimp, but they are very big. Definitely three or four bites per shrimp. I ordered the fried chicken, of course, with mashed potatoes and gravy. My mom ordered the steak frites which was steak and fries with a peppercorn sauce. Both meals were excellent. The chicken is table serviced so they bring everything, cut the chicken for you, while explaining the cooking process, and then put everything on the plate for you. It is a show really but I liked the added touch. For me, the chicken was excellent. Unpopular opinion but, might not have been the best fried chicken I've ever had, but I enjoyed it. It is a heavy meal though. The potatoes are so creamy and the gravy is very rich. I got the gravy on the side so I could dip instead but it was a lot. My mother's steak was cooked perfectly. She had the duck fat fries with it and a garlic dipping sauce. Very good. For dessert, we ordered The Lemon, and shared it. Again, served table side, cut into pieces and put on the plate for us. If you don't know the lemon is a lemon peel, with lemon sorbet inside, serviced with cookies. It was amazing again. We both really enjoyed it and it is a dessert I will never forget. In all, without any drinks because we stuck with water, it was $250 with tip so you have to be prepared for that. We saved for this meal; we got what we wanted that night. But, the price tag does scare you. There was a reason we stuck with water. Would I go back? No, I would not. That is not because the meal was not good, or the service was lacking because neither of that happened. However, the price tag is a little much for the food we got. We eat fine dining in other places. I might not review all of our fine dining experiences but we do eat well. However, I felt that the prices were a little steep for this kind of meal. My mother had Steak and Fries which was $67. It was this (taken from the menu): "6oz Filet, Cognac Peppercorn Sauce, Bull & Bear Frites". To me, that is a lot for that kind of meal. I have been to other fine dining places and the same meal is less, and just as good. The fried chicken was $47. Again, great meal but not the best I've had, and it was more expensive. The lemon was $25. I know it took a lot to make the dessert but it seemed a little overpriced for each of us getting half a lemon and maybe one cookie. That being said, it was a great meal. The service is amazing, You don't have to ask for anything; they already have it coming. The food was excellent. We did not regret one thing about the experience. But we won't be back. It will live as a "one and done" for us.

My wife and I celebrated her 40th birthday at Bull & Bear. Despite being vegetarian, she found several adjusted menu items that were delicious and fit her diet. Highlights were the caesar salad (prepared tableside), the fried chicken, and "The Lemon" dessert. We will certainly eat here again on our next visit to the area.
