I have to say this was the most disappointing hotel
I have to say this was the most disappointing hotel experience I've had in more than a decade. This hotel needs a complete makeover. Room service was the worst I've ever experienced. The service in the bar was a joke. Starting with I sat across from the bar and watched our drinks sit there for 10 minutes, I timed it, before I got up to get them. The server never came by our table to check on us after our original order. I had to go to the bar every time we needed or wanted something. Shower pan leaked onto the bathroom floor leaving a puddle to wade through every time you got out. Horrible channel selection on the tv. Half the light switches on the bedside console did not work. Fortunately we only were there two nights. At $1700 a night certainly not worth the expense. I will say the young lady who checked us in was very nice, showed us to our room. We were booked to stay at the Bulgari Hotel in Rome. I have canceled that reservation. Disappointed in Milan

This is easily one of my favorite hotels of all time, and it is the best hotel in MIlan. There's a lot of hype around its competition the Armani and whether the increased price for the Bulgari is worth it, and it totally is.Here's what you need to know:1. The hotel is very close to the Duomo and the heart of the city but is tucked away on a private street to give you the quiet and relaxation.2. The outdoor space is the big seller here. It's perfect and really captures the outdoor seating energy that you want on a breezy, warm afternoon and evening.3. The fixtures and decor are stunning.4. Incredible and attentive service.5. I think the best espresso martini I've had was at the hotel bar.If you need a stay in Milan or want to test out the bar, this is the place to be.

I am a big fan of BVLGARI and I own a few bags and jewelry from this brand but I was deeply disappointed in their restaurant. This review regards their restaurant by Niko Romito but we got mixed feelings about this hotel in general. Me and my husband wanted to start our wedding anniversary with breakfast at BVLGARI. When we approach hotel security told us to get trough the outside to the restaurant patio instead of letting us in trough the hotel lobby, probably because we are not hotel guests. OK.We were greeted by waiters with very serious faces, nobody smiled. Everything was so stiff and sour that I was afraid to place my cup in the wrong spot because waiter would replace it lol. The place itself felt very snobbish. When I went to bathroom I almost was followed by the staff. 2 egg benedicts with alaskan salmon, coffee and detox juice cost us 100 euro, which I have no problem to pay if it's worth it. But breakfast was below mediocre. The eggs were cold, instead of english muffins was just round of white toast with 0 side dishes. Charging 34 per plate for "egg benedict". I think people in Milan maybe buy it but we have much better egg benedicts in USA. The size was absolutely unacceptable for 34 eur per plate, boring presentation and bland flavors. Also detox juice for 18 eur absolutely absurd. They just put this prices because they can. It was nothing extraordinary in this food nor even presentation. I give them credits for nice BVLGARI dessert with anniversary candle. That was very nice of them but overall experience was very bad because of service and food. Now I definitely know I wouldn't like to stay at this hotel if everything here is so snobbish. We stayed at many 5 star hotels in the world - Ritz, Fairmont, Four Seasons.... but this uncomfortable feeling I got for a very first time.

Bulgari Milano is a luxury boutique hotel in a park-like setting in the middle of the city only a five minute walk to Monte Napoleon, La Scala and the Duomo. Having recently stayed at the Splendido in Portofino, both are owned by LVMH, it was interesting to compare the two. Both are luxury to the max catering to high end clientele. Where Splendido is luxurious in an "old world" way, Bulgari Milano is very much the 21st Century version of luxury catering to everyone from minor nobility to hedge fund managers to fashion designers to Hollywood stars. Great hotel.

I think it's the best in Milan, per my experience and what locals told me. Great location, a little bit off of the hustle-bustle of Via Montenapoleone. Great service, decor, and an absolute top spa - the masseuse I had was very professional and the highest skilled.
Be the first to ReplyMy experience at the Bulgari Hotel in Milano was the best
My experience at the Bulgari Hotel in Milano was the best hotel experience I've ever had. I was here for a week-long stay. From the moment we entered onto the private street that leads to the hotel, we were surrounded by so much beauty. Lush landscapes, beautiful flower beds, tree lined entrance, and rare exotic cars parked in front. We were warmly greeted by the hotel manager Ibrahim. He offered us a glass of champagne aperitif with some light snacks upon checkin and guided us to our guest suite. The hotel is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful art, furniture and flower bouquets throughout. Simplicity is one of the most difficult things to achieve and the Bulgari hotel does it right. Our hotel suite was a premium king room facing the beautiful lush garden and seating patio below. Our room was so comfortable! High-quality Bulgari linens/towels/robes, DYSON HAIR DRYER, toiletries including; toothbrush/toothpaste/nail file/conditioner/shampoo/body wash/sanitizing wipes/sewing kit/vanity kit/bath salts/pumice stone. Daily housekeeping service included two rotations from day-to-night. Evening turn down service included a fresh hot pot of tea and water replenishment. Daily afternoon housekeeping service included daily snack offerings, fresh bed linens/towels, tea and water. We felt absolutely at home staying at the Bulgari Hotel. The hotel restaurant Niko Romito and bar are open all day until 2 AM. The concierge always made sure that they were able to accommodate us with dinner reservations, car service and gave us excellent local recommendations. The hotel is located in close proximity to everything. Although located in downtown Milan, it is very quiet since it's nestled on a private street. Via Montenapoleone luxury shops are about 60 meters away. The Duomo di Milano is 150 meters away. Everything was within walking distance. I will definitely return back to the Bulgari Hotel the next time I travel to Milan.

There are Hotels then there are HOTELS THAT THRILL YOU! The Elements must come to together like a carefully choreographed dance. Beautiful building in an upscale area, decorated in high style, gorgeous furnishings, elegant decor, delicious cuisine and Royal service. We were blown away by the Hotels style...but it was the staff that made the stay extraordinary. Chiara the Director of front office checked us in with an upgrade and an early checkin, she was so kind, sweet, Professional and caring. We know early checkin and upgrades are dependent on occupancy and not always available but she made us feel amazing. I give her 7 STARS and think she's AMAZING! We stay at the BEST hotels around the world and know a STAR when we see one :)

Amazing cocktails, impeccable service, and the smokers room in the back is just clever. It's like to just step into a ticked away room indoors to smoke a cigar.
Be the first to ReplyWent here for aperitivo.
Food was unimpressive and service was very slow. Drinks took as long as meals should. Drinks were disappointing, overpriced for the quality that is provided. Better drinks can be found for less.
Be the first to ReplyWe stayed here for around ten days while visiting Milan.
Elegant, with a yet casual vibe. The staff could not be friendlier! Very, very good service! Everyone is so kind and helpful at the Bulgari Milan. Plus in our room we daily receive a different complimentary dish of pastries! As well, last night they had left a bottle of spirits with a large bowl of beautiful fruit, in our room! I highly recommend their restaurant as well. Plus everyday there are amazing cars parked out front. Ask about the 'Secret Garden' as well....The Bulgari is a fantastic hotel. They were a bit slow for me on cleaning our room, but they improved so I am giving them back the five star rating. This is a beautiful hotel that I can highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplySimply exquisite.
No words. I lust it. I would go here daily. I had the signature drink, which came adorned with strawberry, which means no man of mine should ever be caught dead ordering it too. Call me old fashioned, just don't make me drink one. Ladies, the Bulgari cocktail calls your name. That said, full bar. Top shelf. Abundant aperitivos, ranging from fresh mozzarella to complimentary tray passed pasta dishes. So sleek and sophisticated - otherworldly. Suit up, dress up, and go!
Be the first to ReplyI've stayed at this hotel before but this time I just went
I've stayed at this hotel before but this time I just went for a late afternoon snack/early dinner in their garden. This place is one of the hidden gems in milan. First of all their garden is absolutely beautiful; so lush and green, with chic decor and nice music... and not many people know about it! Prices are also alright considering it's a luxury hotel. We didn't sit in the actual restaurant so the food choices were a bit limited, nervertheless I was really happy with what I got, which was the nicoise salad. Usually this salad comes with canned tuna so i was pleasantly surprised when it came with perfectly seared semi-raw pieces of tuna fillet. It was the perfect light meal. My mum got their clubsandwich which was also delicious.Little tip: at 19:00 if you order a drink it comes with complimentary "afternoon tea" which consists of a tray of delightful little snacks. I say "little" but the little dishes together actually make up a pretty hefty snack. All in all if you have a free evening in milan and are looking for a nice place to have a little bite or a drink, definitely come here!
Be the first to ReplyYou set your expectations high when you walk in Bulgari
You set your expectations high when you walk in Bulgari place. However, they managed to top it up. Service was excellent and food mind-blowing! We tried lunch-box for lunch where you have combo of appetizer, pasta, meat, and sweet. Excellent combination, superb ingredients, and balanced combination in each dish...road to heaven. Price, high as expected but within reason, €125 for two with wine. Experience; memorable! Highly recommended!
