Always delicious….
Great place, always…. Delicious, simple menu, changed seasonally…priced right…since this restaurant opened over 10 years ago or more, it has remained my favorite and go to restaurant in RI! It never disappoints, food is always consistent, drinks made right, and Pat (the owner) knows how to cook and greet his patrons with kindness. Broadway Bistro always makes my world return to calmness when I have a bad day. Thank you for that!
Be the first to ReplyA Wonderful Dinner
We had been to Broadway Bistro a couple of times 5-6 years ago, but for some reason had not been back in a while, either because we could not get a reservation or just tried other places. Last night we met friends there and had a truly wonderful meal. The wine was a nice crisp Sauvignon Blanc, the appetizers were great. The ribs over grits was very tasty and delicious, the heirloom tomato salad was excellent (often caprese salad tomatoes are tasteless, these were very tasty and very nice), and the aranicini was flavorful and light and the corn salsa it was served with was delicious. Our dinners were equally excellent. I enjoyed my house made bucatini with clams and toasted breadcrumbs, and everyone else at the table enjoyed their mulfaladini, swordfish, and duck breast. It was only 12 hours ago, but I am already looking forward to heading back soon.

Excellent food, drinks, and service at street side tables. Will definitely go back next time we are in Pvd
Be the first to ReplyAwesome Valentine's dinner
We celebrated Valentine's day by dining at Broadway Bistro. It was an awesome choice in every aspect. We had a difficult time deciding what to order as the dinner options were great. So we ordered 2 meals and shared them. Soooooo delicious. I want to go back and try the other options. Our waitress was patient and thoroughly answered our many questions regarding the wine selection as well as dinner options revolving around my allergies. And the price point is very reasonable. I can't wait to go back!

Very good service, good drinks, appealing space and delicious food. We were visited by the waitress shortly after sitting down and our food came very promptly. The hake was delicious as was the sirloin. This is a sure bet.

On a Saturday night we called and they said they had several tables available but when we arrived the place was packed. Oh well. It is not a huge menu but we found a couple of things to share which they divided. Overall an OK experience.

We left today because the waitress didn’t want to split our checks because she didn’t want to do math. Unfortunate, but we ended up at Opa and spent $250 and had great service.

I went there on a whim. Honestly, I couldn't get a table at one of the local eaterys in that neighborhood. I was able to walk in with my party of 4 and be seated. I was lucky because this place was alive. I loved the look of the bar and dinning room. The kitchen was off the dinning room and you could see the staff hard at work. The cools must have been food scientists because what I ate was new to me. Flavors bursting out of each dish. For apps we went with soft shell crab and short ribs with grits. The selections taste as good as they sound. They had a delicious Ramen special...out of my mind for this place! I will be a fixture in the bistro for the rest of my life, as long as they keep their dynamite chef!!! Crazy good!!!!

This is a small venue that is good for gather with a small, close group of friends. If you are into a restaurant with a huge wine or beer list, this isn’t the place for you. What is does serve is good though so you can’t go wrong. The food options are diverse, well portioned and very flavorful. The venue itself is small and intimate. Great place to meet up with a couple of friends and have a really nice meal.

We’ve never stopped in the small dark restaurant in the corner on Broadway with the pretty lights and outside seating - but tonight we thought we’d give it a try, after not getting into another restaurant on the west end.
And I’m glad we did. Started with sampling their “interesting red and white wines” which is how it’s listed in their menu and decided on a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc which was delicious. We decided to share the pasta dish which honestly was the best pasta dish I’ve tasted in quite a long time. Fettuccine with a creamy wine sauce with pancetta, shaved brussel sprouts and fresh parmesan cheese. Amazing!!!! Ended our meal with a dinner cognac what topped off a wonderful meal. Will definitely return.
A wonderful find
We were attending a show at The Columbus Theater and chose Broadway Bistro because of its proximity. What a wonderful surprise! The food was so fresh and well prepared! It is small and deservatively crowded. It is well worth any wait!
