Not coming here again.
I was very disappointed with the service and food. Our appetizers came before our drinks. We were almost done with the appetizers when we realized our drinks have not arrived. Our entrees took just as long to arrive, the streak frites were burnt outside and difficult to chew. We couldn't eat right away because the server never came back with the utensils. Which we had to ask another server who happened to be passing by. We all left still hungry and unimpressed.

The hostess was very accommodating. We asked to sit outside and were seated on the rear patio. The property is beautiful and it was a gorgeous day. We sat at a table close to the dining room and found the plastic wall was still in place, even though it was 77-78 degrees outside. The side walls were open thankfully, but we could not understand why the rear plastic had not been removed on such a lovely day. Our server was a lovely young lady. She was attentive but not overbearing. My wife ordered the crab cakes, and I ordered the woodfired artichoke and the French Dip. Both the crab cakes and the artichoke were good. The crab cakes were a little small, would be my only complaint. After looking at the pictures posted on Yelp previously they were much smaller than what has been posted. My French Dip arrived and as I went to eat it, I noted there was almost no meat on it. I was amazed as the menu described a French Dip made of prime rib on a ciabatta roll. I opened the top of the roll and found the meat did not even cover the bun itself. When you order a French Dip anywhere, you expect to get meat on the sandwich. I unfortunately did not, which was a huge disappointment! The au jus was good, too bad it was largely a bread dip. The fries were excellent but I wasn't paying $26 for french fries. The rating would have been lower had it not been for the excellent waitress. The crab cakes were good and the artichoke was ok. Not sure if we will return to this place. I hope this helps Brix management because you have to do better to keep customers. This is not alright.

To start we had the Shrimp and Pork Potstickers as well as the house smoked bone marrow. The potstickers were delicious. I'd definitely get those again. This was my first time having bone marrow so I didn't know what to expect but it was pretty good. For my entree I had the short smoked salmon. I've never had chard so well cooked. It was absolutely delicious alongside the salmon and potato purée. Our waiter was so personable and attentive. He even listened when we talked about my birthday a few days before and had ice cream brought to the table for dessert. This restaurant is definitely on my list for when I return to Napa.

More chew than swallow. The Special cocktail (old fashioned) was warm and half shot. Service was actually very attentive, perhaps to make up for the kitchen and bar (the drink was wam, did it sit for awhile) The building, the architecture , interior decoration is a blend of 1960s, 1980s, and some stone to draw you in with no acoustic balance which equates an elementary lunch room. This is simply my experience on a Saturday night. Perhaps staff, chefs, etc changed or were off that night. You decided.

What an incredible spot! The bar service was flawless, and the food was simply delectable. We enjoyed the beef tartare and fried green beans, along with a few drinks. It was the perfect way to cap off our enjoyable day in Napa. I'm eagerly anticipating returning to sample more of their menu; everything that emerged from the kitchen looked stunning. The staff's positivity and warmth added to the experience, and I can imagine this place being even more delightful in the summer with its outdoor seating area. We'll definitely be returning!

Brix was good! Came here for a bachelorette dinner and the service was amazing! They helped us split some of the dishes because they knew were going to share it family style. The food was good too but the wait for some of the items was a bit long. But I would definitely come back

For the last few years this has been one of our favorite places for lunch. The last few times, however, have been beyond disappointing. Today we were seated at an indoor table even though we had requested outdoor and reserved one almost a week in advance. After being seated, we were given water and then waited almost 20 minutes for our server to appear. Once he did, we ordered our glasses of wine and our meal. Over 30 minutes passed and we got nothing. We didn't even see our server. Finally, someone delivered our meal, but still no glasses of wine. I asked about the wine when the meal was brought out and she said she would check on it, and then disappeared as well. About a quarter of the way through our meal, or server finally reappeared and seemed very dismissive of our situation, and said he would get our wine. After almost 10 minutes, we finally got the wine. Like I said, we have eaten here before and I always order the wine. This time, however, the glasses had barely a half inch of wine in them, very different from the other times. On top of all this, we had to wait at least another 20 minutes to finally get our check and we paid full price for this terrible service. Oh, by the way, the restaurant was less than a quarter full and had plenty of servers. I hope this was just a bad day, but all the same, we will not be going back any time soon!

This place is now my favorite in Napa for brunch! You have to try their fried deviled eggs, to die for. Their back yard is beautiful with views of blush hills and vineyards. Very friendly staff too.

Drinks were served and an appetizer of tempura green beans arrived. They were very good. My daughter had knoci, my wife had the ravioli and I had the French dip. It took a very long time to get our plates. When they arrived the only thing warm was the French fries that came with my sandwich. We told our waitress and she said she would tell the kitchen. Hmmm. Then it took her for ever to bring check and process the payment. I have heard good things about Brix but I was not impressed today.

Brixxxxx!!!! I've waited another year for restaurant week 2024! My first time here was back in 2023 for the amazing caramelized sea scallops! It was so amazingly delicious I had come back this year and let me tell you something! They taste the same or even better than last years! The consistency at Brix is 5/5! The sea scallops are easily my top 5 favorite dishes of all time! Came here for a friend's birthday and they gave us an amazing private room/table that easily sat 7+! Food: 5/5- sea scallops, crab fondue is a must appetizer to get here! You'll thank me later! Service: 5/5 - the service was on par with any other high end restaurants. You'll never have to wait to ask for your water refill or anything. Very attentive! Ambiance: The table we got in the wine cellar made it extra special for our group making it feel like you're eating right at home! Get place for date nights, friend gatherings, or just a nice dinner with some wine! Overall the highlight of this place was the CARAMELIZED SEA SCALLOPS since all the components in this dish just mesh so well with each other! From the purée to the mushrooms, and black truffle vinaigrette sauce! I call it getting lost in the forest as you're eating this dish! Cheers!

It is restaurant week with a special prefix menu. My sister and I came to celebrate our birthdays. From the moment we made a reservation, they accommodated our time and when we walked in the door, we were greeted warmly, and our table was lovely. We explained that we were celebrating our birthdays, the hostess immediately brought special birthday cards to each of us. Our server Sergio, who was just a superstar, Brought us a lovely green bean tempura appetizer for our birthday celebration. The service was impeccable and the food delicious often with these restaurant prefix menus, there's a lot of filler of salad and soup and pasta, but these were beautifully composed dishes, and very generous in ingredient quality and size. We had scallops with a melange of mushrooms, a slow cooked braised rib and beans slowly roasted with bacon amazing! Our starters were fondue and potstickers so generous we couldn't even finish half. Lastly, the dessert was a butterscotch pudding and an amazing chocolate torte. They're definitely memorable. we were made to feel very special never felt rushed and what a culinary talent. we will as locals be back again.

Nice environment, great service but food was below average. Ordered the burger and the meat was overcooked and burnt on the bottom. Bun was stale and crumbed when cut. For the money I was disappointed.

Meh. I'm not impressed. I think this is more of a locals spot? It's lovely! Easy parking is always worth a star on its own. Service was polite, quick, attentive but not overwhelming. Scene was lively around the bar, subdued at the tables. Outdoor seating is kept warm with powerful heaters. Beautiful view. So why were we there? The food. That's where Brix lost points. We ordered the potstickers, burrata, roasted broccoli salad, vegetable Alfredo pasta, ribeye, gumbo, banana split, Rosalita and margarita cocktails. In short, nothing worth going back for. Most delicious, the grilled bread with burrata. Most disappointing ...all equally mundane. The sides for the ribeye were especially bland and uninspired. If you're in town, check it out. If you're not in town, I'd skip this one. :(

We came here without a reservation right at opening at 11:30am. There were four hostesses at the front. Just an observation. I asked for a table for four. The restaurant was empty, maybe two or three tables in use. They offered to sit us in the patio outside. I asked if there was anything inside, and hostess said no. It was empty and they had just opened, so again we could have been accommodated inside if they wanted to make it happen. Our wait staff was great. It was a whole team. Plates were promptly picked up. Food came out quickly. Waitress gave us recommendations and gave us specials. Our waters were refilled and were taken care of by wait staff. Food was mediocre. The expectation is high in Napa anywhere you go. This food is mehhh. The food did not impress me. It was good but not $30 a plate good. Presentation of food was nice, except the chicken dish. Ambiance inside is beautiful. It was raining outside so being out in the patio wasn't the nicest vibe since they had a plastic canopy over it. There were heaters, so we were warm. I wish they'd uncover the patio, it would have been more beautiful to see the vines and the rain. But I get it was cold and it was to protect from the weather. I wouldn't come back here or recommend this place if I had someone visiting Napa asking for a recommendation.

What a wonderful experience! From the ladies that greeted us at the door (big smiles and a welcoming) to the servers and bartenders (Miranda is amazing). Delicious dinners (short rib raviolis and gumbo with shrimp). The most amazing espresso martini I have ever had. Keep up the great work!!

What used to be one of my favorite place in Napa is no longer a place on my list. The face of a place is in its staff. We met the worst front desk lady today. I had booked the place a week before, asked for a table outside for a health reason that is important, drove almost 2 hours to find that the seating is not there for outside, she didn't even bother to let us know ahead of time, didn't do the effort to suggest a waiting time or to even allocate a table for the condition we were in and basically quiet rude attitude. She should definitely not be welcoming guests in or even assigning their seatings. I would put a zero for front desk personnel and her attitude, she's lucky she got a 1 star just because the food used to be good.

Well my family and I come for dinner for my brothers birthday food is good service is good all good so they have a open fire place they turned that on so dessert comes and they said we cant have candles on the cake. well thats interesting cant have a candle for a birthday cake but we can have a open fire place oh well don't come here if you want a birthday cake with candles. Anyway everything was good burger is good and little gem salad is good also

Restaurant is located at Kelleher Family Vineyard looking over garden where they grow their own ingredients and with majestic view of mountains and vineyards. We had reservations and were seated right away. Ambiance was great and our server explained the menu and gave us right enough time to order food.Food we order:Crispy Green Beans: Excellent crunch and the mustard sauce paired very well with it. Baby Beet Salad: As good as it was presented. Combination of fruits, beets, cheese just touched all the palate. Dressing had a distinct flavor and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! Vegetable Salad: Again great salad and the almonds added great crunch. Salad itself was tasteful but after trying beet salad, you can't compare. Fire Roasted Cauliflower: WOW! Tanginess with truffle infused pure and brown butter simply amazing! Highly recommended!Wagyu Beef Tartare: Every restaurant has its own way of making this dish and Brix definitely nailed it! Caviar, Dijon, and mustard seeds added excellent taste and not killing the beef flavor. Garlic crostini Crispy Liberty Farm Duck Confit: Duck confit is a tough dish to make and once again Brix did it so well. Berries with salty bacon and mustard vinaigrette added a great taste to the dish. Duck itself was simply mind blowing!For main course, we shared:Short Rib Ravioli: Creamed sauce with asparagus and sun dried tomatoes added right texture and the short ribs In ravioli was cooked to perfection! Recommend this dish!Forest Mushroom Risotto: I am a huge fan of risotto's and I was not disappointed at all! Those mushrooms mix was epic. Must try.Cacio e Pepe: This dish was good but not as what I expected. There was a lot of sauce and seemed it was a bit watered downed. I was skip this dish. To finish off the dinner, we tried Expresso Martini and Kelleher Coffee. To keep this simple - both were pretty badass! If you like smoothness of nitro coffee, Kelleher coffee is worth trying.I definitely recommend this place! Thank you was a great experience!
