We had dinner for two here on Thursday evening.
Our waiter Rayan was incredible and we used all of his recommendations. A friendly atmosphere and the staff was working non-stop to ensure everyone had a fabulous experience. Roasted Leek Salad, Salad with Bacon Bits and Jammy Eggs, Oysters, and Fish of the day (Sea Bass), and the most amazing Paris Brest dessert. We finished dinner at midnight and taxied back to the hotel with smiles on our face. We will come back every time we are in Paris. Thank you for helping make our trip to Paris wonderful.

Food: This has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Paris that we've been to. Their flank steak with perfectly rare and their garlic parsley butter complimented the steak so well. Their french fries were SO addicting and flavorful and this is coming from someone that doesn't even like them in general! I honestly could not stop eating them. Also, their snails and beef tartare had amazing flavor and seasoning. Everything we ordered was perfectly seasoned and had amazing flavors! Definitely the French food experience we were looking for! Service: Our waiter was one of the kindest and most attentive waiters we've had! We definitely didn't experience any "typical/rude" French service that France is typically known for. Ambiance: Felt like a cozy diner experience with high-quality food! It also seemed like a favorite for locals.

I understand that everyone wants to see food, but, it was just so good that all I can share is another satisfied customer. Maybe, you should just come by and try for yourself; hopefully your plates will be as clean as ours were by meals end.

Amazing Brasserie! This has been so far the best food we had in Paris. We saw this place in the YouTube videos of the 'Les Frenchies' travel show.. You definitely need a reservation. It was crowded and very popular when we had lunch.. we have tried many different small plates and one main plate and shared everything. Everything was delicious. Among the small plates my favorite were the auvergne snails and the pissaldiere (confit onion tart). The lamb was out of this world and highly recommended. For the dessert, I would recommend the Paris-Brest. Restrooms were downstairs and very clean. The service was amazing as well. Our server was very friendly and helped us with the menu. I read some people said the service was slow; to me the service was neither slow nor fast. If you are in Paris you need to spend the time to enjoy the good food.. If I have the chance to come back to Paris, I would definitely come back to Brasserie Belanger.

.) ( づ wouldn't really recommend. My steak and fries were soooo dry. Even though I ordered medium rare it came out more done than rare and super dry and chewy. The fries were too oily. The fish of the day was delicious though! But tiny portion for that price they're asking. Staff was very busy. We had to wait an hour for seating and another hour for our food. They kept on saying couple more mins but turnt out they meant 70 mins by that...not very good hospitality. But the vibe is nice.
Be the first to ReplyGot here at 11:30 on a Wednesday.
They don't start serving lunch until 12. So they let us sit. But then you wait. I was grateful. We've had a hell of a travel day. They start taking orders before 12. And it doesn't take long for it to be fixed. I wasn't real hungry. I got the leaks vinaigrette. They had good flavor. But I kept getting a gritty texture like sand. The thought of not being washed enough makes it hard to finish. Hubs got the sausage and mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes and gravy were great. Sausage was a little too dry. Crème brûlée was on point! Don't miss this opportunity. Very realistic price too. The people are friendly. It's a quaint well established business. The bathroom is downstairs, and I highly recommend you going even if you don't need to go. LOL. I always say I'm going to travel the world searching out bathrooms. Pay attentions to the panties and tidy Whities
Be the first to ReplyFun, bustling brasserie with spot on French classic menu.
Great value in a quiet out of the way neighborhood. This might not have been our best meal in Paris but it was probably our most fun!
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding.
Nice and lively place but not too much so. Quick and polite service -- servers all spoke English as well. As to the food -- the house made sausage alongside perfect mashed potatoes was absolutely fantastic, the leeks in vinaigrette were delicious and the steak tartare was very good (though a little bit one note). Definitely highly recommend though I will add it was very busy for lunch so perhaps make a reservation or be patient.
Be the first to ReplyJ'ai visité cet endroit pour déjeuner avec ma copine.

Had an excellent dinner here during my trip to Paris, possibly the best of the trip. Atmosphere is chic and lively, I sat at the counter which was a fun experience. Had the catch of the day and it was incredible, perfectly cooked and such complex flavors and textures in the sauce. For dessert had the Paris Brest, as I'd heard it was to die for. I'll be honest, it didn't wow me but it was good. Service was great, they had an English menu and were friendly and on top of everything.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely one of the best places to eat in Paris.
If you're looking for a hip twist on a classic French Brasserie, this is the place to go. Not only is their restaurant inside a fun atmosphere, their outdoor seating is abundant and fun as well. My group had various sardine starters, herring, and pate. For my main, I got the classic steak frites. It was delicious and was cooked medium and was a skirt steak cut which also meant there would be a chew to it (just a little) because of the cut. But some how it also was still tender and easy to chew. And most importantly, it was very flavorful. This was our last meal in Paris for our week-long trip and this was the best way to do it as it was just a classic French Brasserie. It's also on a quieter street in an otherwise very busy part of Paris (close to Gare du Nord and Montmartre). Our server, Theo (or Teo?), was also pretty amazing. Having been in Paris as both a tourist and resident, I always tell my American friends and family who visit with me that the French service is definitely not going to be what you're used to in the US. However, I don't know what it was, but this most recent visit just changed my opinion on that completely. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, we encountered this time around was just super welcoming and helpful. Our experience at this restaurant just capped it off perfectly for us as our server was just perfect. He was fun, happy, helpful, attentive, and just overall made our experience pretty great! From what we could tell, every single server we encountered was amazing. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplySensational French classics.
We ate here FOUR times, as it seemed better to eat down the menu than to try to find a better place. Nothing disappointed. Sit at the bar for the view of everything being made. It's quite the show.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent meal.
It was a Saturday night and we went without reservation so we had to wait a bit but it was so worth it. Authentic French food at very reasonable prices, variety of wines to choose from, and a great ambiance. We particularly enjoyed the olive tapenade and the fish of the day, well prepared and presented beautifully.

Desserts great also! This place was only a five minute walk from where we were staying.

Love this place - ate here by myself around 1:30 on a Thursday and it didn't seem like they took reservations and plenty of places to sit. I got the sardines appetizer and sausage plate and everything was wonderful as well as reasonably priced
Be the first to ReplyDelicious and tasty French food served by friendly staff.
Eating outside was o. k. because the street is not very busy.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious restaurant with locally sourced ingredients.
Had the French onion soup and the fish of the day (cod in this case tonight). Both were delicious, well prepared and definitely affordable. Will return!
Be the first to ReplyGreat experience.
Amazing foodFinal night in Paris, so we went all-out on the food. As an appetizer we ate Truffle Ham, Eggs Mayo, and Leeks Vinaigrette. Each was amazing. The ham was understated, thinly sliced pieces, accented with an amazing truffle flavor. The eggs were simple deviled eggs, French style, with a great Dijon side sauce. We had a pork filet mignon that was prepared so perfectly, it pulled apart without the knife. Easily the best cut of pork I've ever had. It came atop a bed of white beans that far exceeded expectation for flavor and satisfaction. For dessert, we had their Paris-Brest (I think it's called). It is a decadent donut-shaped pastry full of flavors. Definitely recommend this fashionable and gourmet restaurant.Photo credits: their webpage is pretty minimal, so most of these food pics are from their Instagram page. Except the cat, that's mine.
Be the first to ReplyOur meals were excellent.
It is a small menu but everything is made onsite. It truly makes a difference. We sat out on the sidewalk and it was a beautiful evening. The wait staff was exceptional. We look forward to returning.

The guys here are super friendly but the second (and last time we visited) we didn't receive half of our order (it also took several rounds to get the bill corrected). Yes, we ordered in French. Yes, we reminded the busboys, but still nothing. Not really sure where the disconnect is but our server (apologized and admitting his error) never followed up after order to see if we were okay. The first visit was great, despite wait and several interactions, we eventually got what we ordered. The food was very good, dessert too. Two members of the party speak fluent French but it was still appears to be a communications issue with busboys. All in all, a pretty good place for a good meal, if you have time.
