If you're looking to watch a UFC fight here be prepared to pay $75-100 at the door. Not worth it and just find a regular sports bar. They are kinda rude at the door too.

we went there after a christmas dinner spent $2500 dollars came outside to reorganize, maria was disrespectful and did not check with the servers. we even left an article of clothing with money in it and they refused to let us in but were willing to go and get it for us. please avoid at all costs. there's plenty of places in the city to spend that kind of money and actually get good service

We had a corporate outing and they wouldn't give me back my jacket at coat check. When I inquired why, they fired up a bunch of anti semantic slurs. I don't support this business especially in the current environment. These people are sick

Bounce sport club was definitely a vibe! I didn't get to try the food but the drinks were great. Service was fast and efficient. Bartenders were also legit! Would definitely go again!

Once you get in it's really small and they scream at you every five seconds for being on the walkway. Also Secruity guards are very unprofessional they kick you out for literally anything. A lot of minors as well that go there very unprofessional!!

Jake and Amanda are amazing bartenders!! They were very welcoming and gave me suggestions of things to do and places to go during my trip to NYC! They also have this special banana Jameson shit that tastes great! Be careful, the shots barely taste like alcohol so they can be dangerous haha.

Bouncer was so rude to my friend, she presented a government issued employment card, and he called it a fake just because he's never seen one before. Didn't even want to take the time to google what it is. Then proceeded to be so rude and told her to "get her money back", there are nicer ways to say things and when we were talking about it after, he yelled after us saying "it's illegal", like how dumb to just reject it and assume it's a fake just because he's never seen it. Unbelievable.

I don't know if I got lucky the night I came but I had such a good time (prob the company too) this might be one of my favorite spots to go out now. Something about this place reminds me of Miami specifically Mynt but I digress. We were supposed to go to Slate across the street but the wait was too long for a group so we decided to come here instead. Getting in was a breeze even with a 1:4 ratio of f/m no cover charge either. The dj was playing early 2010's house/hip hop - all the jams to dance to and take you back to the days of peak dopamine levels. We had such a good time we didn't end up going to Moxy like we had planned.
Be the first to Replyterrible customer service.
aside from the bouncers every single employee was incredibly rude. the women's bathroom attendant shook me down for a tip more than once. after informing her i already had tipped her she insisted that "i take care of her" partially blocking the exit until i gave her more money. at that point i had already tipped her over $5 for one hand towel. spent a lot of money and was treated awful

Good--yet pricey--sports bar that actually turns into a cool nightclub but the demographic is very college. Waitresses and bartenders are dope. $10 a drink. 4/5 stars as a sports/night bar.

The place is advertised as a place to watch sports but you can't sit at a bar stool after 9pm? Then why are you advertising a PPV fight that starts after 10pm?! Patrons should not be expected to stand for 2+ hours for the main fight to start after spending at least $100 per person for food and drinks. I get that management needs to make money but not at the expense of the patron's experience. If you want to watch sports, don't do it here.
Be the first to ReplyI came here for a pre-ticketed event.
The temperature had dropped to 10 degrees and despite there being a rather small line to get in, they made us wait outside for about 45 minutes. I found out that there was a mandatory $6 coat check which was the reason for the wait. So they let in about 5 people every 10+ minutes. Getting into the bar was the worst experience I've ever had. The woman working the front was extremely friendly for the situation she was in though. I did appreciate her. When we finally got in the place was pretty empty still. By the time the concert started, it was so packed, I could barely keep my footing as people shoved their way through- including a bouncer who elbowed me in the face to push his way through the crowd. I will never come back here. Also the music sucked before the concert. No one wants to hear How to Save a Life (the Fray) and I like to move it move it at a bar on a Friday night. Especially when your clientele for this concert is women, some of their boyfriends they dragged in, and gays. Play bops next time.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is racist and has bouncers on a power trip.
I was kicked out for "appearing too drunk" and our asian friend was kicked out for "appearing to sleepy" at the bar?? He didn't even go up to the bar, we were waiting for a concert to start. Just a bad, and strange, experience

Ok, so I tried to give this place a second chance and it's official.... the place is not at all worth a visit! The managers are extremely rude , they pick and choose who can come in with a "dress code" I even asked the manager to please allow my friend in for a drink as we were celebrating a birthday. There was over 20 of us and everyone was dressed amazing and my 1 friend had on a very nice expensive clean zip up jacket and matching pants (high end brand no logos, no prints, nothing! ) The amount of money we spent across the street with the headcount was beyond worth it! I will go there forever! Meanwhile other people we allowed in (maybe because my friend was black) he was not allow in. The manager was rude, dismissive, abrupt and not helpful at all I regret getting a glass of wine and spending my money thereNEVER AGAIN
Be the first to ReplySome of the meanest staff I've EVER encountered at a club.
From the moment we walked in we were being SHOVED by security all around. I'm a promoter here so I was payed to even come, I was disrespected so many times I literally told my boss I'm NEVER going back there. My client who had bought a table and got alot of alcohol hated the place. Worst music I've ever heard. Waitress's were more drunk than I was and not to mention my friend was made fun of for what she was wearing by security when she was actually dressed very nice. So yea.... Go somewhere else seriously.
Be the first to ReplyI've been sitting here for a good 15 minutes and the server
I've been sitting here for a good 15 minutes and the server hasn't checked on me. Instead she's talking to the other server about her trip she just got back from. I ordered the Korean wings that are supposed to be "spicy". At most, they're salty more than anything. Out of the 8 I've eaten 2 because they're that bad. You'd think that the server would notice seeing that I'm sitting at the bar and I asked for my check after the first wing. Buttt no, she's too busy talking about how hungover she is. I'd ask for a box but it's not worth it. Plus she probably wouldn't even realize it anyway.

Went for New Years Eve with friends, bouncer shoved me three times. Told other bouncers who shrugged me off. The bar does not care about the safety of the women attending. Will never attend again.
Be the first to ReplyThis was one of the the times I experienced blatant racism.
White people told us to not be near them and to get away from their table. Horrible music too. When we left to go to Club Doux I was talking to someone about my experience they confirmed that Bounce is not the spot for Black people. I will NEVER RETURN. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Be the first to ReplyNot sure what's with the terrible reviews, but this was
Not sure what's with the terrible reviews, but this was pretty much what I expected (and what you should likely expect) for a sporting "club" in midtown. We had a great group, got a table, and hung out for about 5 hours. We DID have a table minimum of $500, but with 9 guys over all that time with multiple football games on...we hit it without even trying. That said, we definitely didn't NEED to get a table. At 1pm on a Sunday I expected it to be standing room only, but it was maybe only 60% full by the time we left. It seems the crowds arrive much later in the evening. The food was fine, the drinks were cold, but the service was meh. Even though we had our own waitstaff we had to go to the bar ourselves multiple times, and no mater how hard we tried, we never got more than .45 waters per person at any one time. Despite all that I think my biggest complaint was they played music the WHOLE time. I expected them to play audio for the Giants game, and was surprised when the music only got louder. I suppose the choice of audio is the difference between sports "bar" and sports "club"?
Be the first to ReplyWorst place ever.
Wish I could give zero stars. Made us stand in line for 50cent for 2 hours in 10*F and when it was our turn they rudely told us the doors are closed. Half the people had already left the line after waiting and gone home due to the freezing weather. They didn't even give any apology or refund.
Be the first to ReplyI really wish I could give ZERO stars! Where do I start off.
The line was ridiculous with no one even inside. Guess they need the illusion for people passing by. Umm the RACISM is unlike any I have seen. I get to the front of the line and they said oh it's too many guys it was just 3 of us. And we saw bigger groups of all men that were white. After agreeing to do a bottle the waitress act like she didn't want to serve us. This place should be boycotted.

Always sucks when I go, paid for tickets to get in and come to find out you didn't really need tickets to get in. Held the line outside for a long time, then when I got in it was pretty empty. Stay away from here.

Updating my review: tried to come back to see if Bounce changed at all since I went years ago. Thought they had pretty good food but I thought their shtick for being a club was silly. I honestly viewed it as being a over-priced sports bar. But my friend lives across the street and he was curious so we dropped by this weekend around dinner hours. There was a bouncer out front and he looked at us and said the establishment is reservation only and to leave. Which it really never was before. Guess we didn't make the cut. Place was completely empty inside. What a way to make money in a business. I want to know what they're doing in their basement.
Be the first to ReplyProbably one of my favorite places.
They just did a complete renovation, the staff is extremely friendly, the prices are reasonable. I always have a fun time here. Highly recommend it you won't be disappointed.

This place charged $50 entrance fee for Halloween but they totally overbooked. There was an insane line when we got there and a majority of people who were in line could not get in. They did not prioritize the people who had tickets and were letting people pay more money at the door to get in. What a waste of money. I would never recommend planning your night around this place. This was a horrible experience. What a joke.
