From making a reservation to paying the check, the experience with Bocca was pleasing. Online reservations can be made on Resy for parties up to 5. Because I had a larger party, I called two days ahead for reservation and the hostess helped me with it. They have a parking lot behind the restaurant but it was unfortunately full so we had to find a street parking spot - not too difficult even on a Saturday evening. Their patio looked great and lively. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a smiling hostess who showed us our table. She gladly brought a high chair for the toddler, and offered the kids menu. The water service and the appetizers, bruschetta and flatbread, came out very quickly. Our server, Ellie, was very warm and attentive. She kept checking in on us without being disturbing. The pastas took a little bit of time but considering how busy it was on a Saturday evening at 7:30pm, we kind of expected it. The salmon entrée was pretty flavorful, the wild mushroom risotto was a great vegetarian option, and the Della casa was amazing too. Each dish on our table was flavored well and had its unique flavor. It was my first time at Bocca and I was super impressed. Next time, going to sit at their patio and order some more yummy carbs!
Boca, while expensive is a first rate restaurant in Indy.

Anniversary dinner! First time going to Bocca and it was pretty good. I'm not a huge drinker at all, but when I do drink, I need something sweet and not too strong. I'm sure it was made with tequila, but it was YUM! I ordered the mushroom ravioli, I added grilled chicken to it and honestly I could've went without the chicken. Two reasons: 1. The mushrooms were big and juicy (I love mushrooms) 2. The grilled chicken was not flavorful My boyfriend and I always get calamari when we see that a menu has it and theirs was good. The food did take a WHILE to come- We also werent huge fans of the seating layout because the restaurant is very small and there's a lot of tables that take up the inside so we couldn't get comfortable when others had to continually walk back and forth in between our tables. Our waitress was very nice and sweet, she wished us a happy anniversary and I was happy that she was able to get me a specially made cocktail for my tastebuds

We ended up at Bocca and could not have been happier. The setting was beautifully casual with class, the food was very very good, our wine choices were excellent, and the service was perfect! The owner made her way around the tables and took a true interest in her customers. We like to talk and get to know the independently owned restaurant staff and owners if possible. I'm sure if did not want to engage in conversation she would pick up on that right away. They treated us to a special dessert (butter cake & gelato ; oh so good) and limoncello! Having been to Amalfi and tried the homemade limoncello, we thought we were not fans, but their limoncello was SO good! We can't wait to go back! So happy we tried it and looking forward going back soon!

Overall, good experience! We made a reservation (which I definitely would consider), and we were able to sit outside. The patio is huge, clean, and open. They had live music that was the perfect volume - classy, elegant, and set the ambiance for the evening. I will say, being across from the burger place across the street will involve some screaming children in the background, but nothing that Bocca can control. To start, we got the Carpaccio. The bread was so good, and the arugula was as well. I will say that the thin-sliced beef tenderloin was really oily which threw off the consistency a bit, but overall it was a good starter for the two of us to share. For our main courses, we got the bolognese and the bistecca (NY Strip). The bolognese was SO good - perfect sauce-noodle ratio, and it had wonderful flavor. They allow you to have fresh Parmesan on top, which is always an added bonus! The NY Strip was cooked perfectly and charred on the top (which I am a fan of. If you're not, it may have been too charred for you). The mushrooms that came on the side with it were wonderful and flavorful, but the potatoes could have been cooked a little longer. Overall, great meal. Our server was very nice, timely, and helpful. I wish I could have remembered her name to give her props. Overall great experience and we will be back, especially for the patio! With all of the food mentioned above, a 9oz glass of moscato and 1 Coors Light, our bill was about $110 before tip (FYI). Thanks, Bocca!

Fantastic from start to finish.
Feels very upscale but also comfortable. Our server, Tillman, was very knowledgeable and attentive. His suggestions were spot on. Caesar Salad followed by Mushroom Ravioli was out of this world. Full bar and extensive wine list make the experience top notch. Highly recommend.

They had great service in a private section and gladly accommodated our large group. Special thanks to our server Jazmine! The food was lovely. We got a pre-catered deal with great appetizers. The calamari was a favorite. They were also accommodating if dietary restrictions with the pasta main course. A special surprise after was the speakeasy where my sister and her friends got to catch up more when more of the family went home.

Absolutely on our list of special-occasion spots! Service was delightful, the mood and vibe of the place was cozy and cool. The cocktails were great and the food was absolutely incredible. I dug into mine (a gnocchi with a brown butter sauce) so quickly I forgot to take a photo! My husband's carbonara was delicious too. I can't wait to return! Also street parking was easy to find nearby. We made a reservation for a Friday night and were glad we did as it was crowded by the time we left.
Disappointed
My family and I chose this restaurant based on excellent reviews. Sadly I was disappointed. My companions were given water, but for some reason I had to ask three times to get a glass of water. I had the lasagna which was served lukewarm. The server took it back to warm it up, but by that time everyone else was finished with their meal. I did not get the feeling that they cared about my meal or my experience. I did not enjoy my meal. I will not return.

Awesome food and service! Had dinner at Bocca with my husband and our adult daughter, while we were in town to see Les Miserables. I wanted something a little nicer for a pre-show dinner and this fit the bill without being over the top expensive. Good range of options and price range. My daughter is a fettuccine Alfredo connoisseur, and said Bocca’s was fabulous! I really enjoyed the mushroom ravioli. My husband had the steak with risotto (special that night and it was a bit more expensive) and it was amazing! He has had steaks at many great Vegas restaurants (SW Steakhouse, Bugsy & Meyers, etc. ) and the steak at Boca was one of the best he said, and at a much better price. All entrees came with salad and bread, and again great. Server was fabulous and friendly!
Busy spot
Cheerful place with a youngish clientele. Service is prompt and attentive. We had salmon cakes appetizer and two entries - chicken parm and mushroom ravioli. Portions are not large, but are very good. Chicken was tender, and ravioli were delicate.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
