Incredible dinner at Bistro Sorrento
This was one of the best meals we had during our time in Sorrento. Service was incredible and every single thing we ate was so delicious! Cant recommend this place enough.
Amazing
This was a wonderful restaurant. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairings. It was the best meal we have ever had. Sit where you can see Chef prepare the meal. The show was amazing.
Fantastic food
We knew we were in for a treat when the bread was amazing and arrived in a tiny chest of drawers. Fast forward to the main course - the incredible steak. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and, to top it all, the owner gave us a limencello and a lift back to our hotel. Definitely worth the visit if you are in or near Sorrento.
Delicious food, superb service
Bistro Sorrento is a little further from the centre of town than some restaurants, but it's worth the trip. It's an absolute treat, especially if you are a meat lover. It’s kind of a Sorrentine take on Hawksmoor, where you can choose the cut – and even the breed – of steak you want. The food was utterly delicious, and the service was superb. We had a fabulous evening there and the restaurant owner even gave us a lift back to our hotel!
Gastronomical joy
We tried here because of positive reviews and we are glad we did. The food and service is excellent. I have nothing negative to say. Try it and enjoy. They provide a very handy shuttle service to and from your hotel.
Several complimentary bites
This place had a great variety of options. We started out with a complimentary sushi roll. Then, we had a large array of breads. For dessert, we were given sponge cake, which was excellent, as well as a shot of limoncello. We then got a complimentary shuttle back to the town center, since the restaurant is fairly far away from most of the popular hotels. Our entrees were delicious - my partner said this was the best T-bone steak he has ever had. The ambience was nice, as the restaurant had soft music on and was decorated tastefully. Would definitely come again.
Just amazing!
Hands down the best T-bone steak we’ve ever had! The service and the food was just impeccable. We’re so glad we found the place because it’s not in the centre. The restaurant owner was so sweet and he gave us a lift back into town after our meal, even though it’s only a 5-10 min walk. We would definitely come back here. Also they have a very impressive wine menu. 10/10 all day long! You won’t be disappointed
Exquisite Food & Warm Welcome. Perfect.
This was one of the most beautiful meals of my life. We weren’t sure where to go in Sorrento, and as we are staying right in the centre everywhere close was very busy. I booked online which was fantastic as my Italian is appealing. We didn’t realise the 15min walk was entirely uphill! We arrived red faced and hot and the owner met us at the door. Turns out there is a free shuttle from the main square to the restaurant, serves me right for not reading my emails! The interior is modern, intimate and comfortable. Beautiful fabrics and design everywhere. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. We’re not new to steaks but appreciated the advice on what steak to choose as everything looked wonderful. The kitchen is open, you can see the meat safe and when the chefs expertly cut your steak. As with all wonderful places, for me it was the little touches that set Bistro Sorrento above the rest. An amuse bouche to start, the homemade limoncello and delicate lemon biscuits to finish. It was all so delicious I didn’t think to take many photos, which I now regret. We had the prosciutto & buffalo mozzarella, and “Tasty Wheel” to start. Followed by a tomahawk steak, broccoli rabe, roasted potatoes & tomato salad sides. The steak was the best we have ever had. We shared a beautiful cheesecake formed like an apple to finish. There’s no sense of rush or urgency, you can relax and enjoy every moment. We are so happy we walked 15mins uphill, it was worth every step - although I would recommend reading your booking emails and taking advantage of the drive instead! Thank you Bistro Sorrento for making my 40th birthday meal the best yet!
Wow, just wow.
This was the best meal my wife and I have had in a long time, and we are foodies. Let’s start with the service. Pasquale, the owner, picked us up at our hotel and took us to the bistro. David and Anna were our servers. They were both very friendly and attentive. Their wine and food recommendations were spot-on. The food, everything from the appi to the desert, was absolutely outstanding. The kitchen is open so you can watch Daniello, Pasquale’s son, prepare your food. He is very passionate about preparing the food. If you are anywhere near Sorrento, you owe it to yourself to dine here.

Very nice surprise on the heights of Sorrento. Generous and refined cuisine, quality products, excellent meat. Be careful, prices can quickly skyrocket!

If you like Steak.... amazing spot, staff are on point, really friendly, food is top notch, atmosphere is relaxed and not stuffy, Owner is a really friendly guy, even dropped us the mile back into town square just to be nice, highly recommend if you like good food, especially if you're a steak lover
The best dinner we had in Sorrento!
We were ending our fantastic trip to Sorrento and I wanted to surprise my family with a fabulous dinner. This Bistro is kind enough to pick you up for dinner and bring you back near your Hotel. The decor and atmosphere in Bistro Sorrento is almost magical and hopefully (like us) you will be able to sit near the prep area to watch the incredible chef (the owner's son) create his amazing dishes. The pasta is plated beautifully and the flavors absolutely delicious- as were all the food we ordered. The steak was so tender. All the dishes were served with such care that we all felt like celebrities!! Please make time for a visit to Bistro Sorrento because it will be a memorable and extra special dining experience for you. I wish our trip was extended so we could visit the Bistro again but we'll have to find more vacation time!! Prices are very reasonable for the quality and presentation of their food.
For meat lovers, an obligatory stop
On Easter evening I decided to book this restaurant because the reviews were very positive. In fact, the experience exceeded my expectations. We received an excellent welcome from the owner and the extremely friendly, kind and helpful staff. The restaurant is presented in a modern style, with attention to the smallest details. We ate superbly, an excellent braised meat accompanied by an excellent wine and various appetizers. Last, but not least, the exceptional homemade dessert. The courtesy car offered by the structure which leaves from Piazza Tasso is also very convenient as the place is located on a slightly awkward slope for walking, especially in the evening. For those who love meat, this bistro is a must!

We had dinner at this place on the recommendation of friends. The restaurant is well looked after and elegant, with friendly and helpful staff, prepared on any dish on the menu, which is also excellent. Special mention for chef Daniele's artisanal colomba, the perfect conclusion to the meal. We will definitely be back

What an amazing experience! The food was perfectly prepared. The service was wonderful. We spent our last night in Sorrento at Bistro and it was a great celebration. The extras that they provided made the night even more special. If we ever come back to the area, this will be our first meal!
A magnificent evening
I didn't know this place. A friend recommended me to have dinner here and told me I wouldn't regret it. My friend, you were right. The venue is pleasant and elegant. The staff were really friendly and helpful, ready to give advice on what to choose. And we took some advice: buffalo mozzarella, a sampling of appetizers, a fatty ox steak that we split in two - delicious - and finally a baba and a peach sorbet. Much attention is paid to the meat you choose which is shown to you before cooking it. No seasoning is put on the meat but they bring various types of oil and salt to the table so everyone can season it according to their personal taste. The bread is also excellent. Absolutely recommended.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
