Bistro 31 Dallas Reviews
Wonderful experience at Bistro 31! It’s a Dallas favorite!!
Kenneth was an amazing server. Have dined here multiple times but the level of his service was unparalleled. Kind, thoughtful, intelligent with impeccable etiquette- thank you Kenneth and kudos to Bistro 31 for hiring/ training the best professionals. This is truly a stellar dining experience with delicious fresh meals. Today at lunch we had the lobster bisque and beet salad/chopped salad. All were very tasty. Their bread is fresh with crispy crust. Highly recommended

LOVED Bistro 31!! My friends and I sat outside which was sooo nice. I ordered the vodka pasta and a gimlet which was delicious. A great spot for dinner and drinks. Definitely recommend!!
Was an enjoyable time but for a couple of exceptions
Good service, good food, a bit noisy and would return. I take exception to the kitchen staff horizontally sliced the scallops in order to extend portion sizes. So although it appears you are receiving 8 scallops in fact you are receiving 4. There is no desert menu. The waiter tells you your options for the day but fails to mention any prices. A small to medium size piece of olive oil cake with a bit of whipped cream a black berry and a slice of strawberry for 12.00 seems a bit much

Just ok, food was decent but nothing to rave about and our server was not the friendliest. Free valet parking and outside seating was nice. I do not recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes, tasted like regular pancakes and the burrata and Tono was sent back. Escargot was ok but not as savory as I was hoping for. Outside of the ambiance and outdoor seating this was a miss for us.

Highly recommend! Gorgeous menu, exceptional service by Alessandro, and beautiful ambiance. Group of 3 with a reservation, we tried the gnocchi, rigatoni, beet and goat cheese salad, bistro salad, lobster bisque, and salmon latke. All delicious and beautifully presented.

5 stars I had such a lovely experience at Bistro 31! The atmosphere is elegant and upscale, perfect for a date night or a chic lunch with friends. I started with the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and well-dressed--not too heavy, just right. For my main, I had the sea bass, and it was absolutely divine--perfectly cooked, flaky, and full of flavor. They offer valet parking, which is super convenient, but you can also find parking in the shopping center if you prefer. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and everything about the vibe felt elevated yet comfortable. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a classy dining spot in Dallas! Cost: $$$ Parking: Valet & Self Parking Noise Level: Low
Located in beautiful Highland Park, Bistro 31 is the best
Located in beautiful Highland Park, Bistro 31 is the best restaurant I've ever eaten in Dallas! The service was incredible and we received our food in minutes! The pasta and gelato were to die for! It was worth every penny!!

The ambiance was great, service was ok, mixed drinks not so great, the wine selection is great! Food was ok, not the greatest but not horrible. The place was highly recommended, food needed a little more seasoning.
Bistro 31 is located right in the heart of Highland Park
Bistro 31 is located right in the heart of Highland Park Village. It's a small eatery with a lot of natural lighting and a local clientele. We started with the Mediterranean octopus. I had the wild caught salmon which came with asparagus and vegetables. It was quite good. My friend had a Caesar salad and she liked it. It's not a very large restaurant, but it is quite quaint. Service was attentive. Overall, I enjoyed our lunch and would come back again.
The service was amazing.
The staff is so friendly!! The food is clean with amazing ingredients. Delicious and decadent! My new favorite restaurant. Maybe the best burger I've had.
Came here for a girls brunch.
Super cute vibe, obviously in a great area. I will say I didn't like how close our table was to the bar and kitchen door. I get it it's a small space but man I felt crammed. The service was great, our waitress was wonderful. The menu is nice and has a lot to offer. Portion to price is normal for that area. If you're a foodie like me your meal will not be cheap. The octopus was cooked perfectly, flavors were decent. Not the best octopus dish I've had, but definitely not bad either. The beet cured salmon bite was nice. But it was literally one bite. The carpaccio was nice as well, still wasn't amazing but definitely good. The steak and eggs special was ehh. I've had a way better steak elsewhere for less money. For being in this area, the aesthetics was fitting, but the food was not super memorable. I love trying new places but this won't be one I go out of my way to come to.
We love to be here.
It is a fantastic French/Italian restaurant with wonderful food, a beautiful (if noisy) ambience, and excellent service. It also serves good cocktails.
Enjoyed a very nice dinner outside on a splendid night.
Everything was tasty, with starters tuna tartare and lobster bisque (with plentiful pieces of lobster), both delicious. For entrees, we enjoyed wild caught salmon and oysters Rockefeller with rhubarb smash, which were tasty accompanied by wine. Service was very good, too.

Thank you so much to Bistro 31 for helping me celebrate my birthday this past week. If you're at all from Dallas area then you know this restaurant has a built up reputation among locals. It was my first visit ever and let me say I'm only disappointed I didn't come sooner. The entire wait staff was so attentive and sweet to me and my guests...they were so kind made any request so accomdating. The chef even came out and greeted our table before we made it upstairs to the lounge. We stayed longer than planned because we were having that good of a time. I just wanted to take the time to send my appreciation for the wonderful experience provided by this establishment. Looking forward to my next visit.
Bistro 31 is a not so well kept secret! I've been coming
Bistro 31 is a not so well kept secret! I've been coming here for some time now and I really enjoy it! My personal favorite food item is the lobster salad and they make such a great espresso martini! Service is always so friendly and the restaurant itself has a great ambiance and an INCREDIBLE patio! If you're thinking about it, give it a chance!
Horrible service.
The bar is fine, the vibes are not bad - but everyone who works here is impatient, rude, and seemingly inexperienced. "Assistant general manager" must be 23, no clue how to handle any situation out of the ordinary. Skip this place if you'd like warm service! There are plenty of more enjoyable places close by.
Good food, adequate service.
The fish entree was very nice. Cocktail was not as described. Service was adequate. Loads of wait staff. But not enough attention to detail, like ensuring the flatware was clean. And I was told to leave the men's room because they were working on the plumbing.
If I could rate 0 stars I would.
Was there for brunch & heard the chef screaming & cursing at his coworkers at the top of his lungs seems like he verbally abuses them on the regular, definitely did not have a good experience & won't be returning.
Bistro 31 - a beautiful eatery in a beautiful environment!
Bistro 31 - a beautiful eatery in a beautiful environment! Parking: I guess it depends on the time. We went on a Monday evening via uber and saw about 20% parking capacity available. It is in an outdoor mall of sorts so if you circle around a few times you'll find parking! Drinks: a great wine selection from Europe, California and Australia! Food: we had so many things but not many pictures as we were enjoying g the vibe. The Dover Sole was my favorite. They said it could serve two but it really can't - we had to order another, which wasn't a problem as they had it ready in about 12 minutes. Some had the steak and some had and some had Branzino and some had salmon. Everyone, including myself, raved about the foie gras! We had a variety of desserts that were freshly made and tasted delicious! Service: absolutely excellent service! Our waitress was the best. We said we wanted a candle lit dinner and she delivered by finding us some birthday candles and constantly refreshing the batch when they dwindled. She had an upbeat personality and was super friendly. Atmosphere/vibe: this is certainly in a ritzy part of Dallas so be prepared for that sort of a crowd. It had great indoor and outdoor dining. Apparently they also have a rooftop. Age group: all ages Bathroom: didn't use it! Return: absolutely

I've been coming to lounge 31 for the last 4 years and the girls they have working now are absolutely low tier. I tried to pay the rest of my tab and the girl tried to get us "blacklisted" I asked her for a receipt of our tab to see what the rest of the charge was for and she made us leave, asked her manager to "never let us in again" because I asked for a receipt. I don't wanna talk to the assistant manager I want to talk to the founder and main manager of the institution. Fed up with the behavior of HP village at this rate.
Lobster Benedict for the win.
The eggs were perfectly poached. The lobster meat and buttery hollandaise sauce worked together perfectly. My friend's ham and Gruyère crepe was also excellent. Service was stellar. Ambiance is chic yet comfy. Amazing people and car watching.
Some of the best staff, everyone is friendly and funny.
Ivan is the best. We had a ton of different food tonight, highlights being spicy tuna crispy rice from upstairs (Lounge 31), mushroom gnocchi, olive oil cake, and flourless chocolate cake.
Foie Gras, Fish of the Day, Creme Brulee, Lentil Soup
Foie Gras, Fish of the Day, Creme Brulee, Lentil Soup This was magnificent. Just the most incredible, impeccable brunch. The food was outstanding, from the lentil soup to the Foie Gras to the fish and finally the creme brulee. The flavors were fantastic, everything cooked perfectly. We ordered some drink I can't remember that was delightfully sweet and paired well with the Foie Gras. This restaurant sits in Highland Park Village, a cute little very posh corner. The interior is warm and bright and very elegant. Service is outstanding, with very attentive waitstaff and little dogs are welcome inside!
A New Favorite Place
Superb food, amazing service by Stephen, wonderful ambiance. The salad was a work of art. A new favorite place in Dallas for a Fort Worth foodie.
Nice experience
We enjoyed our lunch at Bistro 31, with my halibut entree being excellent. The service was impeccable as well. One small drawback--the tables are a little too close together, leaving me feeling cramped. Fortunately, the acoustics are very good, so that the noise level was quite satisfactory.
