Love the ambiance.
It does get a little loud so might not be a great place for little kids. The food and the presentation is just way over the top in a good way. Went there for a birthday celebration as always it didn't disappoint. It was quite a treat for bday boy when we saw Adam Sandler walking in to dine.
Be the first to ReplySo much fun! Went YEARS ago and loved it.
Perfect place to take out of town guests. Food was very good.

Lit! The ambiance is everything and more, yes the wild artistry of creative display, and fellow foodies made this a parade of fun times. My favorites were the Diamond Life Cocktail, Lobster Pop Tarts and the S'mores Golden Delight served on a stack of cash, a Bentley Gold chain and Flambe Torch included!
Be the first to ReplyI took my daughter here for her birthday.
... I wanted a fun experience for her. I wish I could give 5 stars as I expected a lot but there was a few drawbacks...Let me start with the positive first: the food was actually very delicious and seasoned well. The portions were good size and definitely everyone enjoyed!!!!!!Service was nice and staff very friendly. Now to the drawbacks: 1. Every person over the age of 8 (that's what the server told me) must order a full dinner. I think that is INSANE!!!!!! So right from the jump a table of 4 will exceed a $300 bill! A appetizer or salad is Not considered a meal. I am sorry, but a 11 year old will not finish a $50 plate. I understand that it's the presentation, but it's all pre-build installations that they really just pop a plate on. So it's not extra work or outrageous pre-planning that would justify that price.Appetizers and sides are well priced, but the main courses are bit overpriced. And that's exactly why they don't allow you to just order appetizers.I am sorry, but I don't like being forced to order food I don't want or won't finish. And it's not like I am not spending money because you make it up in drinks and desserts!!!It's cool to take pictures with the props/installations... would be cool if they had a nice backdrop at the check in desk or perhaps by the restrooms. Overall, left wanting more especially for the $400 check!! Ps. On top of everything $17 Valet! I doubt I will return unless invited to someone else's birthday.

Nope. The prices are ridiculous af. We barely had room for our elbows on the table. This place is cramped with tables literally booty rubbing on each other. How is that fine dining?? The cesar salad was good but not the way they charge you per shrimp to add to the salad so a $20 salad is almost $40 LOL I will only come here if someone invites me for a special occasion.

Located in West Hollywood you'll find an amazing place near Nobu sushi called Barton G. Known for their whimsical, plating and amazing cocktails you can't go wrong for this special restaurant. A++ lobster pop tarts must have!

AMAZINGG!!Highly recommend this restaurant, service was excellent, extremely welcoming, and food was just phenomenal. Very high class feel, the food comes on unique sculptures. Their desserts were to die for sooooo goood you need to dine here. At least for the one time. Overall the experience 10001/10

I came in for the first time first off the hostess was very welcoming and kind, explained everything to us very thoroughly, we sat down in a nice spot, we were greeted right away, the server was very informative, talked about everything and gave us very good options. We had the asada and my girl had the salmon we had cocktails and the dessert was amazing we had the cotton candy; and dollar dessert i was amazed the ambience, atmosphere was on point. I will definitely be back and be recommending Barton G to my friends and colleagues. Definitely check this place out you won't be disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyI rsvp 2 weeks ago over the phone.
They didn't even bother to rsvp. When I called to confirm my son's birthday party, they said they don't have my info. Seems like the easier the job is, the harder for it to get it right.
Be the first to ReplyI'm going to make this review very brief.
Terrible experience. For starters, they had segregated seating. Yes, the minorities sat in the front of the restaurant in a separate, closed off curtain section while "everyone else" was seated in the main area of the restaurant. I had the chicken in the cage (can't remember the name) but it was salty. The dessert was expensive and too much to finish, so when I asked for a to-go box, the waiter refused, stating their policy is that I can't take the dessert to go. I have NEVER heard that before and I frequent many places. This is my second time visiting a Barton G establishment and I can assure you, it will be my last since I had unpleasant experiences both times.
Be the first to ReplyThis is not an ordinary restaurant .
They are different in the sense of presenting their food. Fancy , food was in good portion. Nice and fancy presentations of food. We had fun ordering from appetizers to main entrees and even their desserts were presented nicely. Staff were nice and well attentive. Too attentive, that you're not even finish with your food, they would ask you if you want that out of your way already. Always ready to answer all the questions as first time to visit the place. Ambiance was fancy and classy. Valet parking available , be ready to pay 13$ cash or 15$ for card.

This is not a place to come on a regular basis but is a home run for celebrations or out of town guests. Every cocktail, every plate, is a celebration of whimsy. The short rib appetizer and electric chicken are the stand out food orders. Take your pick of cocktails- just a word of caution, however, don't be so eager to drink your drink that you inhale the dry ice, seriously, I don't recommend it. But otherwise, a great night.
Be the first to ReplyFood presentation was excellent and food was decent.
We ordered popcorn shrimp, lobster mac and cheese, samurai sea bass, and the banana kiss. Although it was pricey, the effort the chefs put in to create the dishes were worth it.However, the server, Christopher, was extremely rude and pushy, coming by in three separate occasions within a five minute time span in attempt to get us to order drinks and cocktails. The server did not refill our water unless we asked for a refill, and attempted to take away our unfinished plates. He also gave us a glare and questioned our dessert choice when we ordered a cocktail, stating "That's a drink".We were also asked to move our table because the manager attempted to add an additional table and seats to the table next to us. Although she apologized for her actions, we felt that her action was rude and uncalled for. Clearly a greed move and an attempt to gain more business. The place was also extremely loud and noisy, and not an ideal place for a date night and conversations.Overall, this place was an average experience at best. If it wasn't for the food presentation and the unique experience, I definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

the music was crazy loud and i could barely hear the waiter and the ppl i was with. the seating and layout are not good at all and everywhere was a struggle to walk. my chicken was pretty tasty but i have never had onion rings so bland in my life.
Be the first to ReplyWe bought my daughter for her 11th Birthday.
Top-notch service, exquisite presentation, and delicious food.Starting with the service, it's always a great experience when the staff goes above and beyond to make sure customers are satisfied. The presentation of the plates and drinks was amazing. The way that food is presented can really enhance the overall dining experience. The restaurant's attention to detail and creativity in presentation must have made for a truly memorable experience.Of course, the most important aspect of any restaurant is the food, and the food at Barton G restaurant was delicious and flavorful. It's clear that the chefs put a lot of care and attention into preparing each dish.Overall, Barton G restaurant delivered a top-notch dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for great food, impeccable service, and an unforgettable presentation.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is so tacky.
.. they fool you with the overpriced items and cheap displays. There was a hair in our food. So many great places in LA and this isn't one of them. Not worth the curiosity. There was also a fight that resulted in me getting hurt and the owner (Jared) didn't care. All they want is your money and have no regard for paying customers. The manager Jared needs a module on customer service.
Be the first to ReplyWorst experience I ever had at a restaurant.
Edith my server was terrible. Absolutely should not be waiting a table at all. Never in my life have I experienced this kind of service. Jerry the manager literally did nothing to help or resolve the issues at hand. My server never came back to tend to the party of 6. My mom birthday was completely ruined after this experience. I would never in my life recommend or return to this establishment.

This place is right next to NOBU so it's very easy to drive right by. The food was alright... They are honestly known for food presentation but the food was 2/10. When you order steak it comes with no side so we ordered fries.. it literally came with 6 pieces (not kidding) and that was $15! We didn't even eat it.. it was so bland. However, my daughter did enjoy the whole show of presentations. We order the dolla, dolla bill dessert that was the worst idea ever. It was way to rich and way to sweet... It's good to experience for one time only but would I come again? Oh god no. If you like food presentation, come here but if your looking for good food, go somewhere else. For four , our bill was $500 should've went to REAL fine dining restaurant for that price.
Be the first to ReplyAs most have mentioned, this restaurant is about the OVER
As most have mentioned, this restaurant is about the OVER THE TOP experience! 5-Stars for the EXPERIENCE and to Manager STEPHANIE who was always present, engaging, and kind! She even took great pictures of our party as we left (after closing)...thank you for that! 3-Stars for quality of food and general service.Barton G. is different and FUN! Each dish comes with a unique component and our table was crowded with the flying saucer (complete with UFO lights! for the sea bass), popcorn machine (for yummy popcorn shrimp), huge fork (for steak), wheel barrel for salad, and samurai swords for salmon. That adds a flair to the experience and makes for a lot of fun photos! The staff that brought out the food was also fun! They seemed to understand (better than our waiter) that people are there for the fun experience! On the other side of things, The waiter that took our order felt impatient. (We spent hundred of dollars and tipped over a hundred dollars and he seemed more concerned with getting a cheap pilot pen back from us than being kind or friendly to us). I'm sure the place is CRAZY busy on weekends, but we were there on a low-key Monday night so the urgency to get our orders before we had a chance to look at the menu...and to clear our table within an hour of our arrival (not long after we got the food) felt like too much. I was (obviously) still eating as I was constantly asked if I wanted my food packed up. ("I'm still eating," was my response and I was finally left alone.)Constructively, I also wish the food was at the same level as the price and experience. The chopped salad was the most random (and not great) salad I've ever eaten. Lettuce, tomatoes, beets...okay...but add that to green peas, carrots, potatoes, and corn and I'm lost. Haha Maybe a Greek salad theme or something more down to earth like lettuce, cucumber, avocado, beets, carrot, would be more pleasant. Also, the popcorn shrimp was a great value as an entrรฉe (note, you have to order at least 2 appetizers or app+main dish -- the idea seems to be $50/pp though I saw groups come just for dessert). However, the old bay seasoning seemed to only be on the actual popcorn, not the shrimp! Would have been great if the shrimp was more seasoned. The salmon is basically an empty plate with a small piece of Salmon, the steak and sea bass seemed like good portions but all require side orders for actual vegetables. Not so well balanced for the price. The desserts are also very expensive. We had the carnival one that was pretty shareable and fun. None of the desserts offerings were enticing to me (vegan options besides cotton candy would be awesome!) but I will admit it's fun to have as a part of the experience.4-stars overall because we had fun, but it would be an easy 5-stars with better food and kinder, more considerate wait staff that match the energy of the experience.
Be the first to ReplyI love this place and the creative artistry behind it.
The lobster pop tarts where my favorite thing among everything, they were brought out in a toaster which was cool but also the taste like yiu really can't get this anywhere else. Next favorite would be my drink which had an amazing presentation and had a vodka popsicle and dry ice with smoke, super dope. The popcorn shrimp was cool but idk how I feel about there being actual popcorn with my shrimp, however I am a lover of art above all things so I can justify it for the sake of presentation. My plate (which I can't remember the name of) was good but idk if I would get it again, I think the rice was too mushy for my liking so I'd definitely go for something else next time. Overall amazing experience and I would go back. The attire would be casual too, keep in mind that theres a lot of kids there and it does have a bit of a carnival fair vibe to it all.

Out of all the restaurants in West Hollywood I am thrilled that I chose Barton G to celebrate my birthday! The food was great and our server Aaron was excellent! Definitely coming back for more celebrations.
Be the first to ReplyHaven't been here in a while but friends and I decided to
Haven't been here in a while but friends and I decided to come in. Ordered a round of drinks for the table. A bit pricey but tasted great. Food presentation has always been amazing and glad to see they are still one of a kind when it comes to presentation, however quality of food has completely changed. The food did come out quickly but still disappointed in how food was lacking flavor. Even though our server Aaron seemed to be extremely busy service was still top notch. Not sure if I'd return here due to how pricey food is and quality of food lacking.
Be the first to ReplyAll I can say is WOW.
.....AMAZING! I went here last night for my birthday and had the private dining pre selected menu. The menu was 115 dollars per person and let me tell you worth every penny! We were served a generous amount of food, with over 8 different courses to snack on. The alcohol and food presentations were something unique and incredible. The service was impeccable. We didn't have to ask for anything because it was already being done. This is probably the best restaurant I have been to so far and they really know how to leave a long lasting impression!
