Unfortunately, the Eggs Benny I ordered was quite bad.
The bacon used was so salty that it overpowered everything else, and the egg was hard poached with lumpy hollandaise. Very unfortunate.
Very nice breakfast/brunch spot.
We got the Dutch and vege breakfast plates for lunch on a rainy day. We had about a 15 minute wait on a weekday afternoon for lunch, guessing this place gets reallly popular over the weekends. It was close to the museums and the Heineken experience, so we made a pit stop here for lunch. The food was great, clean and fresh! Since they were so busy, it took forever to get the food. So if you are trying to keep an appointment, think twice.

Outside of the complicated waitlist system (refreshing in the hopes the waitlist opens so that you can quickly type in your name), the rest is absolutely wonderful. I had the Eggs Royale and Pancakes and they were both so good. The smoked salmon is so flavorful.

Bakers & Roasters was so good, we went two days in a row! The portions are huge so my fiance and I shared a meal both times. For food, we had the Huevos Rancheros the first day (really good but more like a tostada) with the breakkie potatoes. We tried the Navajo Eggs the second day with sausage and their breakkie potatoes. This was our favorite meal. Everything was delicious and fresh. Their fresh sour cream is so good! For drinks, we tried their mimosas, margaritas, and White Russian. All were consistently good on both days. The White Russian was my favorite - they added caramel/toffee pieces on top which were so good! They get pretty busy, so arriving early is recommended. The service was fantastic - everyone was very friendly and the food/drinks all came out quickly. We sat on the patio both times to enjoy the nice weather. They were super dog-friendly, too! We will definitely be back! Meals, drinks, and the outside patio area are pictured below.

Came here for brunch one morning when I was in Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago. I came early enough that there wasn't a wait, nor did I need a reservation. I got their vege brekkie along with an iced latte. My food came out pretty quickly and I was pleased with my selection - the toast was amazing, the ingredients fresh, and all the components of this dish came together great. My coffee was quite good, and service was very attentive all throughout my time here. I have a feeling that you probably can't go too wrong with any of their items, and I'd certainly recommend anybody to come by here if they happen to find themselves in this part of town.

One of the best brunches I've ever had!
We decided to have brunch here between our visits to the Rijksmuseum & the Heineken Experience as its perfectly placed between them both. We both had the Kiwi Brekkie with a side of avocado, hubby had a Bloody Mary & we had tea, coffee & a slice of carrot cake. Everything was absolutely amazing! The only negative was the bread- really would have been perfect if it had been toasted but everything was so fresh & obviously all made of good quality ingredients. The atmosphere was really lively & the staff were so lovely & friendly. It's a bit disappointing that you can't make a booking, you have to scan the code on the door & join a virtual queue. We waited outside for around 25 minutes but to be honest it was worth it- probably one of the best brunches I've ever had!

Delicious lunch
We ate lunch here after a visit to the Rijksmuseum which is nearby. You should be aware that there is a virtual queue rather than a booking system and you can access this from the website or outside the cafe. They don’t have room for you to wait inside. We waited 10 minutes (went for a walk around the area) then received a text via Dojo confirming our table was ready. We were welcomed and seated immediately on our return and service was good. We both chose the Kumara Hash and it was delicious. The quality of the ingredients used was clear to see. I also had Banana Nut French Toast which was tasty with the bacon an unexpectedly good accompaniment. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable meal. We enjoyed it so much that we visited their other cafe when we visited the Scheepvaart Museum which was also good (separate review).

Very tasty food with nice presentation and friendly staff. I had the matcha latte, freshly squeezed orange juice, american pancakes and eggs benedict (couldn’t finish everything though, massive portions). Left happy and content!
All of our food was EXCELLENT.
Every part of the meal was so flavorful and came together perfectly. Would come again. Green juice was so fresh.
Worth the price tag
We pre-booked as we’d heard great things. We were not disappointed. We ordered the eggs benny and kiwi breakfast, delicious dishes, fresh eggs, thoroughly enjoyed it. Left with full bellies. 🐷
The best brunch
The menu is brilliant, so much to choose from. The food is excellent, really enjoyed. Everything cooked to perfection, lovely bacon and eggs, drinks etc. the staff were super friendly, very attentive and the vibe of the place was fantastic. Can’t recommend enough.
Overhyped
Food was good but it is definitely overpriced! The place has really cute decorations but we didn't feel welcomed by the staff. They weren't rude but we felt rushed as soon as we finished the food. It was overall a disappointing experience considering the hype around it!

We had such an amazing breakfast on our first visit, we had to go back again on our last morning in Amsterdam. The team are so welcoming when you arrive and it really sets the tone, so warm amd attentive. The atmosphere is laid back and the food does the talking. Fab menu choices and we can wholeheartedly recommend the Kiwi breakfast, B&R special and the blueberry pancakes (which you've got to have the crispy bacon with!!). Not only great flavours, well cooked, the portion sizes meant we didn't need lunch 😉. Absolutely worth the visit and worth noting that you can't book and it gets busy...but there is a fab wait list function if you do need to wait.

I've been several times to both sites and the food and drinks are always top notch. Service also very good. Ideal for a brunch. Excellent milkshakes and coffee as well as cakes selection.

Found this place online when i looked for best breakfast places. It didn't disappoint at all. The food was really good. The banana nut bread was sweet and didn't require any more syrup.

My wife and I decided to try Bakers and Roasters for brunch on our last day of our trip in Amsterdam. We arrived right at 10 on a Sunday morning and it was a steady crowd, but there was a wait by the time we left. We were in and out of the restaurant in under an hour and it was some of the fastest service I've seen in Europe. The food could not have been better and we both thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. We also enjoyed our drinks. The waitress was very friendly as well. My only pet peeve that could have made the meal better would have been to of had another foot of spacing from the other tables in each side of us. My wife and I were laughing about the discussion the people next to us were having after we left the restaurant. Would happily eat here regularly if I lived nearby.

Came here with my friend for brunch as it was right around the corner from our hotel and stumbled on it over a little Google. The place was super busy but they managed to find us a spot. I recommend you do book online so you're guaranteed a spot. My friend opted for the Eggs Benny and I had the eggs on sourdough and little pancakes combo. The food quality was perfect, no complaints at all. The milkshakes were amazing and fresh orange juice always is a good shout. The servers were super friendly and tried to accommodate alot of people in who hadn't booked. I'm glad we found this place and super happy with our experience 😊

My husband and I had Bakers & Roasters for our first breakfast in Amsterdam. Our dishes were delicious! It was the best way to kick off a long day of exploring Amsterdam. We'd highly recommend them and would love to revisit whenever we travel back!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
