Thank you Beatriz
Just decided to treat myself nice on my day off after some shopping in busy Oxford Circus, I have never been here as I was not aware of this place, but it was a 10! Amazing, friendly and professional service from Beatriz! I will definitely come back! Food was amazing and soooo tasty! Nice octopus and croquetas!!

Be the first to ReplyPre theatre trip
Pre theatre meal We had tickets to see ABC at the Palladium and were looking for a venue close by. Booked based on Trip Advisor review and we were not disappointed. Theatre menu was ideal, waitress (didn’t catch her name - sorry!) was super helpful and the food was lovely. We will definitely be returning!
Be the first to ReplyWe had an exceptional experience!
The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable, thanks especially to the Polish manager whose name i unfortuntely dont't recall. She recommended several dishes and how to pair them with their new cocktail menu. Her suggestions were spot-on and added a special touch to our dinner. I'll definitely be back soon !
Be the first to ReplyThee worst dining experience EVER!
We booked last minute on 27.1.24 for a table of two at 6.30, after extensively reviewing the menu and with guidance from our waitress Magdalena we ordered the Potatas Bravas, Mushroom Croquettas, Crab Tostadas, Lamb Rack ( which replaced the slow cooked lamb) and the Red Prawns on a rice crisp and to drink we ordered two cocktails. This meal was by far the worst meal we have ever ordered. To start we sent the potatas and the croquettas back because they were luke warm at best, but put aside that these two dishes were barely warm the potatas was bland and had three tasteless blobs of jelly on top and the mushroom croquettas was filled with a grey tasteless slop. The prawn on the rice crisp was something similar to what I once observed on Gordon Ramsay kitchen nightmares, it turned to mush under my fork was watery and flavourless with zero texture and the prawns had not been deveined and were literally full of poo. We called our waitress over and pointed out our issues, she apologised and said she would bring the dishes back hot and was surprised to see the uncleaned prawns. The paella came next and things got even worse, the two prawns that sat on the Paella again were full of poo ; again not deveined, had no texture to them and were limp and looked watery; the Paella itself was tasteless mush, again we called the waitress and pointed out the problems , she explained they had a new chef??!! and were trying to get the menu right. The only good thing we can say about this experience was Magdalena ( who turned out to be an assistant restaurant manager) who could clearly see how poor these dishes were and was apologising profusely. The lamb Rack was ok, not great just ok and the cocktails tasted like fruit cordial and Kia ora orange mixed together. This was a calamity of a meal, the Manager Magdalena was clearly embarrassed by the catalogue of errors in this meal. The Chef needs sacking, in fact the whole kitchen staff on that night needs firing! It was a disgrace of a meal and Magdalena knew it.

We were looking for a restaurant near the London Palladium and Aqua Nueva was a delightful discovery. The pre-theatre menu was ideal and every course was interesting and delicious. The staff were friendly and charming, the rooms were stylish, the views across London were great and the music and ambience were just right. We shall certainly be back.

I came here with a couple of friends for my cousin’s birthday, we all decided to take a seat on the bar. Saffron is absolutely top person and bartender, I’m so glad it was her that came to serve me. She made myself and two other friends amazing rum drinks of her choice as we asked her to surprise us. I trusted her enough to select some bar snacks she felt were best - the spread was perfect. Other than the great service, her personality is so refreshing, we all loved it. Amazing vibes, funny and down to earth. I really do hope she is recognised for the person and employee she is. I’ll be coming back just for her! Thank you Saffron

Wow! Once you get past the weird street level entrance deciding between Japanese and Spanish, Aqua Nuevo is amazing!!! Romantic candlelight tables and hip but quiet background music make for a wonderful format to enjoy some amazing interesting variations on Spanish Tapas and traditional fare. Great Papas Braves, interesting Azafran recipes, delicious Paella, and great desserts…Arroz con Leche with Azafran(!) and Roscon de Reyes were all amazing. Waitstaff was beyond attentive and welcoming. It was an evening to remember!
Be the first to ReplyDon't bother
Still hungry and have a headache from poxy "music." Big hole in my pocket for minimal amount of food. Resturants for posers and people who are on a diet.
Be the first to ReplyLOVED LOVED LOVED IT. TOP RESTAURANT. PURE CLASS. CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN SOON.
We were due at The Palladium for a matinee performance and decided to book Aqua Nueva. I have been to Aqua Kyoto many times, but fancied a change. The venue couldn't be closer to The Palladium - the entrance is basically opposite the entrance to The Palladium. And, even though the address states: Regent Street, the entrance is in Argyll Street. You enter the restaurant on the ground floor, but go up into a lift. Aqua Nueva is a very large restaurant. It has some great seating areas; some booths, and it is very classy. Because of the building being rather old, there aren't that many windows around, but it doesn't spoil the ambience! We were offered either a booth or a nice window table – both looked great. Our server, Maria, was terrific; helpful and professional and charming, and a delight to talk to. Having been given the menus, we asked for the pre-theatre menu, which was provided – great choice for us. If you're a big eater, you might want to order a couple of extra side dishes, but we were fine. The food was truly scrumptious - could not fault anything - loved it. I opted for the Rustic Tomato Bread, Iberico Ham Croquettes, Wild Mushrooms “guiso” and Hake a la “romana”. Everything was truly scrumptious. My husband chose the Chef’s Omelette, Black Seafood Croquettes, Gamba Red Prawns Rice Crisp and Slow Cooked Lamb. Again, everything was superb. The Prawn Rice Crisp was very delicate and not a very large portion, but still ........... divine! For pudding, my husband went for the Chocolate Churros, but my choice of Seasonal Fruit Salad with Mango, Passion Fruit Sauce, was a winner ……… of course, I had to share! Truly a wonderful experience – no complaints whatsoever. We were not rushed in any way - everything was perfect. Washed down with a bottle of Muga Blanco and with a service charge of 15%, our bill came to around £60 per person, but it was worth every penny. Again, so close to The Palladium. A great choice of restaurant. Cannot wait to return.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service and food
Food and service excellent, have been here several times before on out visits from Australia. Quality food and service make this restaurant a must visit.
Be the first to ReplyAvoid, avoid, avoid
We visited this place straight after seeing a show at The Palladium (opposite). It’s a great location and we were really looking forward to having a great evening, but we were sorely disappointed. There were girls doing drugs in the toilets, prostitutes on the table next to us and a pick pocketer tried to rob things from my jacket. It looked like a well worked practice, so it was a surprise that the management were not on top of this. We complained to the manager and the people were immediately ejected from the premises. To also give credit, our bill was comped (free of charge). What a shame.
Be the first to ReplyTop rooftop bar in central london
Super cool place. Beats rooftop. Great selection of small bites and very nice drinks. I haven’t had dinner yet here, but I love the environment. The dj plays a nice selection of music as well. Great place for a night out or just to enjoy the sunset in the rooftop bar.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Service
Went here last Saturday with a group of friends and safe to safe to say the service was impeccable, staff very friendly and attentive in particular Raf who assisted us diligently at all times. Definitely will be returning!
Be the first to ReplyNot worth it and very unprofessional service
The food was very average and some of the service really unprofessional. The Spanish ones were very nice, but the people in charge of that area of the restaurant were terrible and very rude. It is also a place where you cannot talk because the music is so loud, apart from the fact that it is soooo big that it has no personality whatsoever. And the main thing is that it is NOT SPANISH at all.
Be the first to ReplyUtterly unprofessional & disgusting service
I went there with my brother & friend for a few drinks after theatre at London Palladium. We were sat on a table near a bar when a drunkard kid threw up on us on his way to the gents. It was all over my hair, my friends & brother’s clothes, the table & our mobile phones. Instead of running to help us, 3 members of staff stood there watching. We had to ask of tissues to clean up. Absolutely mind boggling! The general manager who saw what happened did not offer any help & nothing to say apart saying it’s not in their control & offer a round of drinks! They have 3 bouncers walking around the bar. This is unacceptable from a high end up bar with premium prices. Will not be going back again ever!
Be the first to ReplyPoor
Quite possibly one of the worst meals I have ever had. The service was ok but the food awful. We went for brunch and the tapas selection was very limited and not the best, although the black pudding was good. However the main, beef and potatoes was ridiculous. Some of the fattiest, greasiest beef I have ever eaten combined with what were the driest, plainest potatoes I’ve ever had in my life. I honestly think there are better frozen roast dinners than this main dish. Unfortunate as the restaurant itself is really nice but the food lets it down massively and I won’t be coming back nor will I be recommending.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food!
The food was really nice and many different cocktails too which were good. However, would have preferred if there was more of a bigger balcony area as seemed quite small in the area that we were in.

I booked Aqua Nueva for a work summer party for 55 people We had a really amazing space with a roof terrace and an indoor seating area too. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, we had canapes and we had some cocktails too. We had a really great time and would definitely book to visit again - Would highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food
Been several times and each time had really memorable food and great service. Loved their ham, all the croquettes, and churros for dessert. Was really nice to have a drink on the rooftop section before eating dinner.
Be the first to ReplyPoor
Food was mediocre at best service was as I would expect it to be. I won’t be returning. Food was rushed out and was bland. Kitchen closes at 9.30. Not for me
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed - could be more in tune with their audience.
We were both n the pre theatre menu. Staff not especially helpful in explaining the courses. Abit up their own asses in their overall attitude and not especially friendly or personable. Never asked what we were going to see at the theatre for example. Overall food is pretentious. In Madrid 6 weeks ago I visited 4 tapas restaurants and the food in this establishment is very made up for a London, crowd ambience poor. Staff mediocre. Courtesy basics not observed - wine poured without asking if a refill is required, cleaning away plates before diners are finished eating. Wouldn’t be rushing back here.
Be the first to ReplyAqua Nueva
An absolutely stunning venue with some of the best Tapas in the city. Aqua Nueva screams upmarket elegance & class with dishes to match. If you can get over the low-lit black tables & eating almost in the dark, this place won’t disappoint. The menu ranges from traditional dishes such as pan con tomate & patatas bravas to Galician beef tartar & roasted bone marrow. There’s something for everyone. Presentation is traditional yet exquisite with hand dived scallops served in their shells on a bed of pebbles & melting black-ink seafood croquetas presented in mussel shells. The A La Carte menu comes at a price & drinks are heavy but it’s to be expected with the sheer quality of ingredients & talent served on the plates. There’s also the luxury of a terrace overlooking Regent Street if you wish to stay for a drink. One dish I recommend trying is the the restaurant’s own signature dish Galician-style octopus with green mojo as well as the before mentioned Galician beef tartare with roasted bone marrow and sourdough. It would be rude not the have the chocolate churros with candy orange too. Service was great with hosts knowing the menu inside out. My only moan was that the food came out too fast which is to be expected with tapas but it felt a little rushed at times. Otherwise a fantastic evening & a must visit. Cuisine: Spanish Dress Code: Smart Casual Star Dish: Galician beef tartare with roasted bone marrow and sourdough. Price: £50pp Rating: 4.5 out of 5
