Love my Alo! Hate when people hate on Alo because my Alo has been with me for almost three years and they look sooo good still. I have like 5 pairs of the same legging (airlift). Also last time I went the girl was so sweet and exchanged my damaged pair of Alo leggings no questions, because I had just bought them! Honestly I don't think it was an Alo quality issue but maybe a costumer purposely messing with the clothes? Anyways LOVE IT HEREEEE and Beverly Hills one too!

I've purchased here multiple times and the employees are sometimes helpful. This time - NOT. First, we wanted to return something and asked the lady at the front if they had another size In store, instead of looking it up for us - she said we could walk the store to see if we could find it...WHAT?! And for the lady with the braids...don't know if she's having a bad day or just has an attitude all the time. Not needed - really not needed. This is not Target, so step up the customer service game. Thanks!!

love shopping there always have the best customer service is my favorite clothing brand and also love their yoga classes
Be the first to ReplyALO has been won me over for life ! On several reasons .
.... 1) Lululemon quality does not even compete or compare with ALO , from quality to style . 2) Lululemon has the worst customer service hence my last Yelp review on their grove store manager . I want to thank GOHAR the store manager for taking initiative on my recent order that got mixed up by their online store purchase and she got straight to a solution right away . She didn't bother with the run around and went straight to a resolution to make a customer happy and on their way . I rarely see that kind of CS given anywhere these days and that's what truly makes them stand out from any other brand . GOHAR is result driven and that's what a successful leader should emulate

So helpful and kind. I really appreciate how nice she is, which is why I always go back to this location! Highly recommended!
Be the first to ReplyThe staff here looks miserable and the location has gone
The staff here looks miserable and the location has gone downhill since they got rid of the yoga classes. I heard one girl's walkie radio and the manager was yelling at someone over the headset. I come in weekly and saw a manager make a young girl cry once. I felt so bad for her and just wanted to give her a hug. This place looks toxic and miserable, no wonder none of the employees look happy here. I have heard a girl's radio and managers are just screaming about sales. Makes me feel like a piece of meat in the store because they just stare and try to sell me anything. The clothes are cute, but not great quality. They probably treat their sweatshop and factory workers as bad as they treat their in-store employees.

If I could give no stars I would! Terrible experience!! Alo does not care about their customers in store, online, or corporate. If you have a lot of time, and energy to be treated poorly and pay embarrasingly high prices with with no resolution than this is your place! I however prefer to be treated with dignity and respect and know if I have a minor as a size change someone will help me, NOT AT Alo. Clerks run around in their shorts and are happy to help with their tongues out if want to buy something but God forbid you have a size they want your blood type, and mothers maiden. They're all about the money! So don't kid yourself customers don't matter! Shop Lululemon, they're much more helpful, and their products are more comfortable.

ALO? More like GOODBYE! Extremely rude manager -- truly Scrooge incarnate this holiday season. I hope he finds inner peace and joy this holiday season / stops working in customer service + retail because he has truly no business or social tact for it. I brought in an online return that I received 2 days prior - a sweater that naturally attracts lint and dog hair. He accused me of wearing the item and said it was unsellable. The manager even said his nose was starting to itch because of the 4-5 golden retriever hairs on the item. Incredibly and unnecessarily dramatic. Ultimately refused the item and hurried me out of the store. Will never shop Alo again.
Be the first to ReplyThis store had good options with newer items in stock.
The staff were friendly and helpful in finding what I was looking for. Not a typically busy store which is nice not to have it crowded shopping. One of my favorite locations when shopping at Alo.
Be the first to ReplyNormally, one would not catch me walking into an Alo store.
I don't do yoga, nor am I into the line (or lululemon, or any company that has that kind of cult following) so I have to step up, swallow my pride and eat my words here when it comes to this review. I actually came in since the three other people I was with were determined to shop here so I kind of had no choice. Was greeted immediately by a younger girl up front which was surprising since most places like this don't care for my type (non-workout/leggings). Two of our party were male, so upstairs we went, where there was still a small selection of womenswear. There was some decent seating as we waited for them to try on multiple outfits, and I actually took a look around. There was a pair of shorts that caught my eye, and I was curious to see what their sizing was. Seeing they start some of their stuff at XXS, I dreaded the fact that I was most likely in between sizing when it came to this brand. However I have to say the girl who was working upstairs was nice, and willing to find sizes for me in the shorts that I was checking out. One of our parties ended up buying about five items, and the rest of us were just making our way out front when one girl said she found an XS in the shorts I had my eye on. I appreciated the fact that she took the time to look, but I was on my way out so I didn't get a chance to try them on. I was impressed by the decent customer service here, when I had expected the opposite. I admit I am a little more open to trying those shorts in the near future due to the good experience I had at their store at The Grove.

Be the first to ReplyI'm not sure what took me so long to buy anything at Alo
I'm not sure what took me so long to buy anything at Alo yoga, but I'm so happy I discovered them! What I like about the clothes is they are luxury athleisure: so cute, so functional. And did I say so cute! I have a crush on this brand. And the store at the Grove is amazing. The sales people are very nice and when you have to exchange stuff for smaller sizes they are so helpful. The only thing I don't like is they never answer their phone when you call to ask a question. But I don't mind, it just means I get to shop in person. I think I have an addiction. I've bought 12 items so are and the beauty line too.I prefer their clothes over Lululemon because they're more luxury and fashion forward without looking like you're trying too hard. The clothes are pricey, but when they have sales it's so worth it to spend spend spend!
Be the first to ReplyWorst customer service.
I called in advance to find out if they had an item in stock. He said yes but I don't think he even checks bc he didn't hesitate. I went within 20 minutes and they didn't have it. I bought something and the cashier asked "did you find everything ok?" I said "no"and she didn't say a word. Also nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone when calling customer service.
Be the first to ReplyEvery time I call the store during open working business
Every time I call the store during open working business hours, they go unanswered. What does it take to hire employees to answer their phones?! I'm happy to spend my money elsewhere. The kids who work here don't care about their customers whatsoever. What a shame!
Be the first to ReplyAfter buying over $400 of their items I asked for a bottle
After buying over $400 of their items I asked for a bottle water since I was waiting in line for too long. Then I paid for my items and I was about to leave, the cashier calls me and said I'm sorry ma'am I forgot to charge you for the water!!!! It's $3!!!!!!! So in my head I was like WOW so cheap! Then I turn around and their machine crashes and I'm waiting for 10 mins to pay for the $3 water they gave me. Then the manager arrives and says it's ok you can keep it! It's on is. I leave the water right there and I said no thank you and left the store!!! Unbelievable!
Be the first to ReplyI just had a horrible experience at the Alo store at The
I just had a horrible experience at the Alo store at The Grove leaving me feeling humiliated and embarrassed while attempting to exchange a gift. For context; I have easily spent thousands of dollars on Alo merchandise in the last few years. So much so that my family members now buy me items and gift cards as gifts. Today I needed to exchange a top (which I already had) that I had been gifted by my mother-in-law. The associate that helped me was incredibly rude. She reluctantly allowed me to exchange the top, but with the stipulation that I only exchange it for something of the exact same retail price, regardless that I was happy to pay the difference. So for this $68 top, I needed to find another item that would be exactly $68. No store credit if were to pick something cheaper, and she would not accept I pay the difference if I found something more expensive. Embarrassed, and full of anxiety I quickly scanned the racks to find anything that matched the price, and grabbed it just to get out of that awkward situation and away from that rude associate. I got home and tossed the new item directly into the donation pile.

Love the clothes very soft great quality and can always wear them a year or two after. Yes it's expensive but great quality. The guy in the fitting room was so helpful, and gave me anything I wanted immediately with a great attitude
Be the first to ReplyThe Worst Customer service I've ever experienced.
I purchased a pair of pants here, returned it after 30 days, and received a gift card which is their policy. I then bought the high waisted flared yoga pants, and wasn't sure whether to get 7/8 or regular, and customer service encouraged me to get both and return one. So I did. I used my gift card ($126). The flare yoga pants were less than the ones I had gotten so the balance due on two was $88.50. I paid $88.50 on Pay Pal and $19 on the gift card. On Alo's website they claim to refund the gift card first and then refund the other form of payment. So I expected $88.50 back on Pay Pal. No such luck! I called several times. Their system is always down. I was transferred to a manager, "Tori," -- HOPE! but, alas, sent to her voicemail. The yoga pants I got are fine. I'd like them a whole lot better in a darker black and without the logo on the leg. But the disreputable business practices are unacceptable. Never shopping here again, filing a consumer complaint.
Be the first to ReplyI had a great experience at ALO.
I have seen it and walked by it a bunch of times, but today I walked in. I felt a little out of place for the first 10-30 seconds, but right away a lady by the name of Charlotte helped me tremendously. I ended up buying 3 items from the store and I was honestly just finding out basic info about the ALO. All I can say, the staff/employees at the store were splendid and able to aid and guide their customers. I spoke with Charlotte for the most part, but she really helped me a lot. The customers will be in good hands in ALO.

Be the first to ReplyGreat store.
Friendly staff. Great selection. There's no lines to check out or get into the dressing room. Love it.
Be the first to ReplyI love Alo leggings.
I am probably one of their biggest customer. I own the entire line of Moto leggings in all the colors available, even the discontinued leggings. And other leggings, of course. The problem here is not the brand, it's these kids that works at the store. They really don't care or knows anything about customer service. Just like the reviews here, they suck! They are so jaded and so stuck up. I support Alo because of the fact it's a local brand and finally you can look good in leggings and not just your basic yoga pants. I was a lululemon customer for years and Alo came along abd im hooked! You're buying an expensive leggings! These are not cheap! Hey, Alo, don't forgot your loyal customers. A little sincerity from your hourly sales associate would be nice. You can fake it if you want. But don't act all pretentious and make it look like we're stupid.
Be the first to Replyvery cool store!! i bought a couple hats for a vacation.
they gave me a great free beach bag with some free samples of the beauty products. i had to run out of the store before i buy it all. workers seemed nice and helpful which esp in la is rare. check it out

Alo at the Grove mall is one of my favorites, next to the one in New York. I love the high ceilings and yoga studio. Also, all of the workers here are so friendly, helpful and nice. The yoga teachers and classes are beyond amazing. I love the quality, colors, fit, aesthetic and style. The store and studio is so spotless and clean. The inventory is always well stocked and sometimes I dash to this store location whenever a new drop is completely and utterly sold out online. Love it.
