NOT WORKING NEEDD MONEY BACK
No seen reservation up for bidding at all. It’s really useless to go through this route when KICHI KICHI no longer takes reservations anymore.

Either the community is not big enough or not many people are willing to forego their reservations, it’s not as smooth as what many users thought, the possibility for getting a hot restaurant reservation is slim! The app doesn’t help much!

Bought a reservation at Carbone which was then cancelled the next day. So I bought another at Bad Roman and requested transfer service. Transfer was never made and there was no response when I inquired about the transfer status. Then the second reservation was cancelled an hour before the reservation time. To add insult to injury, fees were deducted from my refunds. Never again!

One big problem with this site is that you can’t cancel bids once you’ve put them in. Also, if you put in a bid and it doesn’t get filled, they charge you a refund fee to get your money back. This site would work better if it operated like any other two-sided market, where you could make binding but cancelable bids and offers at whatever price you felt like, with automatic crossing and execution if my bid is at least your ask.

Hey guys, I am super excited over discovering this app.
However, I experimented with trying to purchase reservations at once of NYC’s hard to get spots by putting up well above market bids. Couldn’t secure a closing. Understandable.
But then on the flip side, I tried to sell reservations at the same venue (sourced externally) at below market prices - and those didn’t sell like hotcakes either.
I guess we need to wait and build up a larger marketplace here - but the idea is awesome. Good luck!
