Heh... The food was yummy in my tummy! The staff was also very nice (almost... Too nice what the flip) Besides that the place was clean and all. I highly recommend!! [proud]

⚠️⚠️⚠️the place is the most Unethical restaurant I have ever been. They brought 4 extra rice orders saying that we ordered them. 4 people eating rice and chicken, dry and hard as a sole was 170 euros. When we confronted the waiter about it, he said he will mention extra rice next time. Good luck with a next time, not from us!! Please go and spend your time and money wisely!!!!

Inedible!!! The worst Asian food I have ever been served. The cheapest ingredients, at supermarket frozen food level, with an absolutely horrible taste. You also get the feeling that they are cutting corners on everything (the soy sauce seemed to be watered down) and all at high prices. Tourist rip-off at its best - a warning to all future guests there
Splendid Dinner
It was quiet and welcoming when we saw the Tokyo Japan restaurants well kept al fresco dining area. We decided to settle down in the interior as that too was cozy and enticing. Menu had some typical Japanese dishes and soups. The meat dish was nice and the Miso soup was extremely tasty and filling. They served us good quality green tea too, off a typical Japanese tea pot. Austrian beer Zipfer was refreshing. Host was very caring.
Scammers & Thieves!
This restaurant not only scams you but even robs you and that isnt an exaggeration!! Let me first start by saying I'm happy to give this place 1 star just for the funny story but DO NOT VISIT HERE if you actually want a nice meal. Can I start by saying I have never visited a place where every customer in the restaurant are all chatting to each other and joking about how they are in the midst of a scam. Every single table in this resturant questioned the bill including us due to hidden extra charges. I advise you to do the same if you visit. People were charged €10 per bottle of tap water and had hidden items added to their bill. We visited on New Years eve as it was the only place that wasn't busy and we should have known at this point that it was never going to be a good experience. We entered upstairs and were immediately shouted at to leave our brand new umbrella outside the resturant in a box. Four of us were shoved on a two person table and given a "fake menu". The waiter immediately took our drinks and we should of known at this point it was a scam. We attempted to order off the "fake menu", only to be told due to New years eve the 4 piece set menu was the only option available. This consited of 4 different options and was essentially a large plate of microwaved food that was something you would buy from Tesco. The quality of the food is horrendous not to mention you are getting charged €25 euros per plate for a crappy £2.50 microwave meal that wont fill you up. Make sure to check the menu as rice or noodles with this plate is not included and will incur a subcharge of €7 for some sloppy pot noodle. This is hidden in very tiny font at the bottom of the menu which we joked about with the waiter. However this is where the experience gets funny. As the food comes out more and more tables realise they are getting scammed and as the bills are attained more and more people start questioning the waiter about hidden charges. The worst part of all was that the new umbrella that we were forced to leave in a box outside was stolen from us. When we went to the box it was missing. I asked the staff about this and I couldn't believe their response. They told me to "pay it forward and steal another customers one". I couldn't believe it! They wanted me to steal one of the customers umbrellas that were currently sat in the resturant. Unbelievable! I refused and demanded a refund for the umbrella however I was instead told to come downstairs and take a spare umbrella from their lost and found room. I asked what if a customer comes back for it and he told me that he didnt care and would rather we had it for our misfortune. So there we go, don't visit this restaurant. Not only are they scammers but also thieves!!
Catastrophic!!!
Unfortunately we went to this restaurant today and what can we say :( the reviews are all correct. Pure rip-off. We wanted something Asian and the food was overpriced and it just didn't taste good at all - just disgusting. We told the waiter that and he just said what we should do now. He then said we should pay 50%. I hope this place closes soon. The table wasn't cleaned and everything was sticky. I don't even want to talk about the toilet - disgusting and there wasn't even toilet paper. And then the food was gone. Never experienced anything like it.

0 out of 5 points please avoid!! From the outside the restaurant advertises itself to tourists with cheap prices and signs, tempting offers! The food was inedible and I had to return it! I should have looked at the reviews here or on Google... It couldn't get any worse!!!! Why doesn't the health authority in Salzburg react??? The only positive thing is that we were able to warn "potential customers" after the mistake.
Absolute SHOCKER!
Absolute SHOCKER! The board menu at the entrance is a complete SCAM! Once in the restaurant we realized what they advertised on the board outside and what’s on the menu is completely different. When questioning the waiter he gets aggressive. Unfortunately we had already ordered our drinks which happened to be the most EXPENSIVE drinks in Salzburg. We left without eating!
Terrifying experience
Terrible experience, asked for a set menu for 2 people, €58 when the bill came up it was €85 , we questioned why the waiter said you had fish soup and sushi, we hadn’t ordered anything else only the set menu. We left €75 , when trying to leave the restaurant the waiter blocked himself in between me and my mum, he refused to lay me out, the then punched my mum in the chest, I eventually managed to get out, we were both very shaken by this experience, he then ran passed us on the paved area and threw sauce over my mum, we ran into a nearby shop as we were so scared. Wish we had read the reviews before we entered the restaurant.
Too bad
Too expensive, the waiter is not friendly at all. We order sup for 8 eur, then they offer the udon one which we dont know the price. Then the udon cost 19,8 eur. The udon very salty and small. The same with rice. Not even enough for children. Not recommend.

That's what we always did before we decided to eat at any restaurants, but I just can't believe myself to be trapped and being one of the victim in this SCAM & DISHONEST restaurant if we can call it a restaurant because to me (and clearly to all of the reviewers/victims of this place) to have eaten at this place was the most horrible eating out experience in my whole life. It was on a rainy night and we have been turn down by 2 previous restaurants because 1 was almost close and the other one was fully booked with a long wait time and we were starving. Such a beautiful city, Salzburg, but this restaurant made our wonderful experience with the city become bad on our last day. I will say IF this city will not do anything about this dishonest business scam (they are basically a thief and they don't deserve a penny for the service, which was the worst foods, falsely advertised; what they advertised on the poster menu in front of the place downstairs is not what they served/they claimed that menu was not available, rude server with zero customer skills, also he is a great pretender to be innocent when we complaint about the overcharged prices, we basically got charged for something that we are not even aware that we ordered, SCAM!!!). I will never recommend to visit this city if this place is allowed to continue to do their business here. For sure, anywhere in the world, in the city as beautiful and touristy as Salzburg, the government/mayor/city council/anyone in charge in this matter should take action regarding this Tokyo Restaurant as they have been received nothing but horrible reviews from their victims and yet they are still allow to be in business? For years? I think the city has to do something such as to review this business and not to allow this restaurant continue to be on business. The business deserve to be shut down and their business license need to be cancel so this kind of business will not have a place anywhere in the world. Just so we know, every hospitality people around the area like hotels staff, cafe and other restaurants business owner nearby, even locals people who we spoke about our bad experience with this restaurant, they apparently very familiar with their dishonest business and it seems nobody in charge can do something about it. I was wondering, there are too many bad reviews for this restaurant and yet they are still continuing to be a criminal by scamming by doing their dishonest business? I even filed a complaint to the police station nearby and yes we spent some time on our holiday to the police station and file a complaint, we even came with the police officer back to the restaurant and had a NOT very pleasant conversation/argument/complaint with the server but unfortunately the police said they can't do anything. If we need to file complaint and take action any further, we should get a lawyer. I guess I will do that if I live there, so then no other people will be the victims of this place. But we are visitor like every other victims/reviewers here. Basically the police also recommended for us to refuse to pay before we filed a complaint. Really? Perhaps if we did that, we might get into fight and injure or maybe killed. Anyway, I wish we will be the last victims of this thief business and I hope they will be out of business soon. I was hoping somebody in charge will read this and take action about this place. My message to the restaurant owner and everyone who works there and anybody who is affiliate with this business; How can you live your life by doing dishonest business and make your living by cheating people's money? How can you sleep at night after reading all of your customer's reviews and unhappy feelings after eating at your place? You know what have you done, but you choose to ignore them. We as your customers are trying to support you and what we receive in return? Karma is coming your way, what you did is what you get. Thank you for reading.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
