I'm not sure if my standards for food are incredibly high
I'm not sure if my standards for food are incredibly high but the taste of the food was ok......going to this place you are definitely paying more for the experience than the food. The little shows that are put on are super cute and entertaining and short! A plus so it's not super distracting. We sat al fresco so I really did enjoy the show part. Our server was really sweet and helpful and continued to make sure we were good. We didn't have any cocktails only because we were leaving early the next day and didn't want to drink. The food, well besides the bread and salmon truthfully, I would give it a rating of a 6.8/10. I just didn't find anything wow about it knowing how expensive it was. I just kind of left feeling underwhelmed. I'm giving it 4 stars because of service, entertainment and cleanliness.

Food was so good, my kids are begging to go again, we just can't afford to go haha. Dessert was really good, we had pineapple upside down cake and it's one of the best we've ever tasted. Waiter was always around to see if you need anything, very accommodating. The waterfall in the background is beautiful, we love it.

Food was delicious and great service. Definitely worth a visit in Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food, as can be expected from the Wynn.
The staff was equally amazing and very informed on helping selections with desert!
Be the first to ReplyThis place is a dependably lovely experience and a safe bet
This place is a dependably lovely experience and a safe bet for a nice dinner. However, it is very costly (and I mean very), and I live in California!! The entrees are expensive, and you have to order sides with your entree, which aren't cheap either, similar to a steakhouse. I would say the entrees are small, but the sides are ample. We split a Caesar before dinner and it was plenty! The crushed croutons on top was very creative. Sit outside next to the lake around sunset and enjoy the light show every half hour after that. Even on hot evenings it feels comfortable. I was noticeably disappointed looking at the wine list by the glass. Not one familiar face in the crowd. Off-brand wineries at very high prices. So, I went with a Napa cab that was nice. A nice touch was that they let you taste the wine (when ordering by the glass). Not something you see very often - if at all - but a nice touch. The pour was nice. What really shines through here is the service. Impeccable. The waiters are timely and not rushed, and happy to adjust almost anything to provide you with a great experience - as it should be. Lovely experience - you won't be disappointed - as long as you realize the cost is expensive.

We had the steak and king crab. The check in host and server Jesse were so sweet. Will come again.

This was, very simply, the best seafood meal I've had in Vegas ever. The chilled shrimp appetizer, the crab cake, the filet, the king crab leg with the fillet, the salmon, and the pineapple upside down dessert wete some of the best prepared, served, presented, and tasting dishes I've ever had. The beauty of the waterfall and the lake and to be in shade at 5:00 p.m. while dining outdoors, spectacular! Marek provided extraordinary service. Truly a great example of his profession. I can't wait to go back.

In all honesty, the food was so underwhelming as well as the service. We were very excited to indulge in this restaurant per the hype surrounding it. We had different drinks that were just OK as well as different appetizers and food that was very subpar. Many times we had to flag down our waiter just to be served. Despite it being just a nice show experience that only lasted about seven minutes. It was nothing really else to brag about at this restaurant. The three stars were solely for the aesthetic of the restaurant as well as the show.

Probably my favorite spot in Vegas for that really nice meal. The service and food is spectacular and if you're able to get a spot on the patio, take it. There are shows on the lake every 30ish minutes after sundown. A unique experience, and don't miss out on the bread! Finish the night off with a show, also at the Wynn- Awakening.

First stop in Vegas was trying out Lakeside especially with the addition of the Lake of Dreams Show that I haven't gotten a chance to see since I last came to Las Vegas. Lakeside is an upscale restaurant that specializes in seafood, but also has steak options as well. The service was also great and very friendly. The ambiance is dimly lit, but upscale. The downside is though if you there are sections that make it hard to see their waterfall. My table didn't have to book a reservation and we just walked and got a seat without waiting which was nice. When opening the menu my eyes definitely almost fell out and rolled around their very nice tables after seeing the prices. The portions also aren't the biggest. You definitely experience the Vegas tax in a big way dining at Wynn hotel's restaurants. What I ordered: I felt the best value was getting the Prime New York Striploin 16 oz ($89). It was admittedly pretty good and had a really nice blackened sear while also maintaining it's juiciness on the inside. They seasoned the steak perfectly and I was left jealous that I couldn't cook a steak this good. It was a very fine cut as well and I'd definitely recommend this. They also provide complimentary bread and the staff described the uniqueness of this sesame bread, but my ADHD kicked in and I had no idea what was said. What I will say though is that is was incredibly soft and well made. It had a unique flavor and they offer free refills. The best part is also being able to see their Lake of Dreams Show that starts every half an hour beginning at dusk. The music for the show you can hear throughout the restaurant and outside. It is a nice free show on their waterfall although only lasts 3-4 minutes. The show changes each time and sometimes it is hit or miss. One of the shows was Marshmello and I was like, "Oh this is awful." Then they redeemed themselves with a creative dance show right after and I saw that appeal. If you wanted to watch without visiting one of these restaurants there is also a balcony by the elevators to see. Lakeside in Wynn is a restaurant that you have to be prepared to spend big on, but you can't go wrong with this spot during a special occasion.
Be the first to ReplyThe Wynn has found a way to take the best of the Belagio
The Wynn has found a way to take the best of the Belagio water feature, the service, ambiance and panache of Picasso and made this restaurant their own. We sat outside in view of the lake that has this 20-30 foot wall and has water cascading like a waterfall. At certain times of the evening the wall turns into a screen and a small vignette is played with lights, music, and water all involved. It is remarkable. Now let's talk about the food: we started off with the petite seafood stand. OMG! Lobster tail, King Crab legs, Prawns, Oysters, and a small sampling of their crab salad. I am amazed at the freshness. For the life of me I will never comprehend how they are able to get the freshest of seafood out in the desert. This is a must try!!!! I had the Apple and Rock Shrimp Soup, and my wife had the endive salad. The soup was sensational. My wife thought the salad was amazing. She kept remarking about the dates, almonds and goat cheese. She was overtaken by how they married so well with the mustard vinaigrette. Our entrees were out of this world. I had the Crab and Shrimp Risotto ( sensing a theme), and my wife had the Alaskan Black Cod. We usually share tastes so that each can compare, not this time. The risotto was creamy and luscious with small slivers of crab on top and hints of crab and shrimp in every bite. We shared a bottle of wine with the meal, but was too full to try any dessert. If you are looking for a restaurant to overwhelm your every sense while you are in Vegas, and still feel regal. This is your place. Bon Appetite!

They sat me with a great view of the waterfall out on the patio. Beautiful setting. The servers were all great. Friendly and attentive. I've never had cod so tender and delicious. Amazing. Don't pass up on the Brussel sprouts. I could just eat them all night. Great experience.
Be the first to ReplyTook 30min to get a drink.
Water ran out and had to go to front desk to get more. Steak was not good. Service is bad. The only good think was the 2 mimute water show.

The Food Has Improved! Last time we ate at Lakeside was one year ago, I was not impressed with food portions, too small and quality of food was not well received from everyone at our table, However, service has always been top notch. I was extremely impressed with the dish I ordered and every one at our table was commenting how delicious the food was. The side show was nice, needs some updating, the food outstanding and service was excellent. I Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was decent, I loved the crab but everything else was pretty basic. That was the first time I've went to a restaurant and I didn't like their bread. It tasted kind of funny. But everything else was fine.

Great outdoor seating in front of the water where they play shows. Can't say the shoes are anything special but at least it's entertainment. Have to give a 5/5 for the oysters. Small and buttery just the way I like it. We tried fish, steak and pasta. I would recommend against the truffle pasta, not good. But the steaks were great. I got a 14day bone in NY steak cooked medium well and it was great and juicy. The mashed potatoes on the side are a must!!! Great service.

In Las Vegas for Super Bowl week and tried Lakeside at the Wynn for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience! First off we were able to secure a table lakeside of the Lake of Dreams. This allowed us to enjoy the show. Started with wine and old fashions, followed by Chili Rubbed Charred Octopus and Shrimp Cocktail. Then the main event, Dry-Aged Big Eye Tuna, Oven Roasted Lobster, and Grilled Branzino. All were tender, delicious, and devine. Recommend this spot totally for a date night.

This may have been one of the best dinners during our stay, a stone's throw away from the Lake of Dreams show. We all decided to commit to a seafood feast, and we were far from disappointed. Every dish hit different in the best way possible. Umami, flavor-filled approaches to some fish dishes some of us would normally never dive into. We headed back to the hotel full, happy, and ready to take on The Strip!
Be the first to ReplyWe were a group of 13.
Our table had booth type seat against the wall and chairs on the opposite side.. It worked well for those of us sitting in the chairs since there was a decorative mirror on the wall that allowed us to see everyone at the table. We could not enjoy some of the conversations because the music was too loud...really, too loud! The service was great. We had a service team that catered to our every need. Our appetizers were octopus, tuna tartare, and crab cakes that were all great. The Caesar salad was one of the best I have ever had. I had the raw oysters as my entree. I'm not sure what type I had, but they had a slight fishy taste that was not palate friendly I would not order them again at Lakeside. My hubby had the bone in rib eye that was delicious and served medium rare. For we dessert the table ordered the chocolate chip soufflé and the pineapple upside down cake-- both were to die for. This was one of our best dining experiences we had in Las Vegas.

February 5, 2023Party of 4Atmosphere - 3 stars:The restaurant was clean and well lit. Outside on the patio, the restaurant has a digital show using lights and animatronics over the lake and waterfall. The show plays every half hour with a few different variations during the dining experience. Service - 1 stars:Our service at Lakeside was horrendous from start to finish. Arrived for our 5:30 reservation and was told to wait in the lounge area. While in the lounge, I placed an order for an Old Fashioned. After 10 minutes waiting in the lounge, our table was ready, and the bartender told me he forgot to make my drink and would have it brought to the table.Once we were seated outside "lakeside," our server came and greeted us and asked if anyone had food allergies. He was told that one in our party had a gluten and soy allergy. I also told him that I had ordered a drink at the bar about 15 minutes ago at the bar, when he took our drink order. About 20 minutes later, I asked again if I was going to get my drink. He assured me that he would go to the bar, grab one, and be right back. About 40 minutes after taking our drink order and 8 glasses of water later, I asked if I would ever get my drink. The server again apologized and said he delivered my drink to the wrong table and would go to the bar immediately and grab another. Finally, after about an hour of taking our drink order, I received my Old Fashioned! Food - 1 stars:Now, let's talk about the meal and food safety standards. We again reminded the server that one in our party had a gluten and soy allergy and asked what meals and sides could be prepared to accommodate her allergy. She ordered the branzino with a side of brussel sprouts, prepared roasted and not fried, which would have accommodated the allergy. I ordered the ribeye, medium with a lobster tail add-on. The table also ordered the branizo and king crab ravioli. Now about an hour and fifty minutes after being seated our food arrived at the table. We immediately noticed that the brussel sprouts came out looking fried and not roasted, as requested. We stopped another server that was passing by our table and asked him to check with the kitchen. He responded that these sprouts were definitely fried, and he would take them to the kitchen, talk to our server, and have our server come by for an update. My ribeye came out rare to medium-rare and charred beyond recognition. I'm still not sure how they got such a char on the steak and still managed to under cook it. The steak was extremely bland also, but that could have been the fact that it was so charred and bitter tasting that the seasoning burned off. The lobster tail was cooked properly. All the fish dishes seemed overcooked, too. For a restaurant that considers itself as fine dining, the kitchen really needs to learn how to cook food to the proper temperatures requested by their paying customers. As we finished our meals, our server stopped by to ask how everything was. We asked about the sprouts, and he said they were coming out in 30 seconds. 5 minutes later, we received the safe sprouts. Luckily, we noticed an error in the food preparation that the kitchen should have caught prior to serving, or our dinner experience could have been much worse! The manager did stop by the table after the meal to and got an ear full from our dinner guests. We discussed how horrible the service was and the failure of the kitchen's standards and allergy concerns. The manager did offer complimentary desserts for the table and would address the shortcomings with her staff.

Wow, this place was amazing! While staying at the Wynn, we decided to go, and it was super worth it; the site is super nice, it feels like a fancy restaurant (it is), the service was fantastic, super attentive, and there to help! He gave us recommendations and explained each dish perfectly. We even got a sommelier; she was so friendly and made sure we got the best wine for our choice of food. The menu isn't that big, which I love; they only have the best of the best. We had a fresh salad (insane good, so simple and delicious) and an excellent seared tuna. The mains were to die for! I highly recommend the Hawaiian MahiMahi, my favorite! The place is classy, with a great ambiance! One of the highlights of my trip to Vegas!

I loves me some Vegas! I'm out here 3-4 times a year and about 30 days in total. I try places on a bud off the strip but this time I felt like I had to mention lakeside. This restaurant is located at the Wynn resort and is a must catch. The menu is elaborate so it should satisfy almost all cravings. Aside from the food it has a very nice show every 30 minutes if you're sitting "lake side" you're in for a treat. I rarely 5 star a place but this place has it all. Keep it up! Location 1-starAmbiance 1-star Food quality 1-starPrice 1-star (for the strip I find it affordable) Service 1-star Five stars well deserved.

The wait staff was friendly, fun and knowledgeable. They made great recommendations and it didn't disappoint. DefinitelyGet the Brussel sprouts! Delicious! And save room for the tea and honey dessert!

If I had to rate ambiance by itself, I'd give this place 10/10. It was one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to. We sat outside by the beautiful fountain, and I was completely mesmerized. This restaurant is at the Wynn hotel. It has a GORGEOUS outdoor space (if you have a choice, I'd 100% request to sit outside). There's a giant fountain that plays little shows every 30 minutes or so after sundown. Absolutely stunning. Our waiter was very nice and attentive at first, but he seemed to forget about us after our main entrees came. It was difficult getting the check. Also, the food was good, not great. My favorite thing we got was the Mac n cheese, but everything else was okay. Definitely not good enough for the price we paid.
