Fresh Harvest Buffet Atlantic City Reviews from The Last Year
If you look at my pics of two different plates of oysters
If you look at my pics of two different plates of oysters one from Massachusetts, which was very beautiful, colorful delicious, plump unlike your E. coli contaminated gray oysters on the other picture . I will never forget how sick i was for my birthday I almost died on top of everything from getting e coli and my intestines almost perforated and had to get surgery I just wont ever go back to the buffet bad habits and carelessness is hard to break and i trust no buffet ever again No, I did not sue. No, I didn't take legal actions. There is more important things to life than gaining wealth. Plus, I'm not desperate for money
Well worth it to eat here.
The buffet is the best value for this area. The food is fresh and plentiful. Most of the time you can get a discount by playing in the casino or if you are a Veteran. We ate at the regular buffet and the seafood buffet. Both times we enjoyed ourselves. Veterans can get a buy-one-get-one buffet.
BEST OF THE BEST!
This Buffet is definitely the best on the Boardwalk, with many dishes to choose from including salads, meats, poultry, seafood, pizza and desserts. All which are of high quality and organized. I highly suggest taking advantage of special senior pricing on Mondays.
You like food choices? You like buffets? Have a go here.
Went with a party of 8 and had a blast! Can be a little pricey, but we had coupons at the time. I believe it is 42$ a person, all-you-can-eat style (please correct me if I am wrong). From sauces and meats to oriental foods, burgers and salads ... even desserts! The wait staff was courteous, even in all the craziness of helping many people. Give it a try next time you visit Hard Rock Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ.
This place is outstanding !!! Excellent food.
So delicious The photos speak for themselves
Absolutely terrible.
Cost was $59.99. Food was terrible. Seafood was not worth the price. Don't understand why so many people were there unless they were comped. Don't go.. A burger and fries would be considered gourmet compared to this food selection.
It's ok, but wouldn't pay $40-50 pp to go.
Got free voucher for myself & boyfriend. Enjoyed the brisket, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, asparagus, and brussels sprouts the best. No salmon when we arrived around 745pm. Dessert was bread pudding & apple crumble. Had with ice cream, ice cream tasted artificial. Server were great, very attentive! Lemonade was watered down. Was an ok meal. Boyfriend went back for 3 plates so he was satisfied
GOOD FOOD ~~~ PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE....
Stopped in for breakfast Saturday morning and we were both happy with the options. Eggs to order was a option, potatoes, meat, sausage gravy and biscuits, danishes and many other options. Sorry to say, but this should remain as a breakfast option.....Legends is not what it used to be and Hard Rock Cafe for breakfast is a hit or miss....
Food is fun at Fresh Harvest!
Fresh Harvest Buffet is a great place for any meal! Go hungry and fill up! Kiss your diet good bye. Whether you're eating with a large or small group of family and friends or dining solo, you will have a fine time!
GOOD BREAKFAST BUFFET... HOPE TO SEE IT STAY EVEN AFTER THE CAFE RE-OPENS....
Stopped in for lunch the other Saturday and was seated within minutes. Many food options to choice from. We were down this weekend and they were offering a breakfast buffet because Hard Rock Cafe is closed for remodeling. Not a lot of options, but enough to choice from, they offered made to order egg choices including omelets, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, sausage gravy with biscuits, pastries and danishes among the choices. It would really be a nice addition if they continue this breakfast offer even after Hard Rock re-opens....
We where their in Jan and had the Sea food Buffet.
IT WAS A DISASTER! Crab legs where so dry you had to try and pry the crab meat out after breaking the legs apart to try and get the meat out. We gave up and had them thrown out !
Need food quality improvement
I come to many buffet restaurant and truly that this restaurant have expensive enough. But also when we compare price and food we eat, it is more too expensive. Also food taste is so bad ! I dont recommend to get meals here ! (Sorry). Service quality is good, but food taste need improvement.
I I would not recommend going here.
I went for my god brother's birthday party and we were seated at the opposite side of the restaurant from each other. When we ask if we can move to sit near each other, it was rejected. To add insult to injury they came and took one of our chairs to accommodate another group who requested to sit together. While the food was ok they definitely need to work on their service if my family and I are to dine here again.
Lots of selection and great for the price.
Everything my excellent. Food temperature and handling was also great. Our host was amazing as well
Food options are very good, and the prime rib is the best.
The price is typical for a buffet of such selections. However, service is a little lacking. I'm not complaining as there is a shortage of staff. Restaurant is clean and has a nice decor. I wish we were able to view the ocean from the restaurant but unfortunately we cannot. I would give the buffet five stars if they had AYCE crab legs like other buffets in AC had prior to covid. Sadly those buffets never reopened, which is how I found Fresh Harvest. Now this is the only buffet we eat at when we're visiting Atlantic City.
Ate there last night on 3 /11.
It's a good thing I decided to swipe my card because I got a $20 voucher for the buffet. Was seated in a reasonable amount of time. The server was extremely slow getting a glass of water for me. Had to be at least 10 minutes or longer. Was not happy about that. Started with some salad. Rest was good. Moved on to some of the other dishes. They were out of prime rib. Was told that it would be at least 20 minutes or so. That's what I really wanted too. Seemed like everything in the chafing dishes was at room temperature and not really too hot. I thought my entire meal was just ok. Nothing really stood out as being great. Didn't have dessert either. Definitely not worth the $40. The only highlight of the meal was having a voucher for half off. Would probably give it another chance, but not on this trip.

A very decent buffet with the usual huge selection of options, from Italian to Asian and everything in-between. Plus desserts. The ice cream was the single best thing I ate. Everything else was good....but forgettable. If you like quantity, I recommend highly. But if you don't want to make a pig of yourself and would rather be served one great entree and go to sleep without heartburn, I would suggest you go elsewhere. Plus the atmosphere is like a cafeteria.
Where is the Italian Food
I have been going to the Hard Rock Harvest Buffet for a few years. I mostly rate it a 5 except when they make changes in the Italian dishes. For some unknown reason they do this twice a year. When you go to the Asian area, they mostly keep the same food which is very good. In NJ , NY and most of the US, Italian means dishes with red/marinara sauce. They make a very good sauce. The last two recent visits, they again removed all of the red sauces and put sweet potato ravioli and some other bland macaroni topping. Leave three dishes with red sauce and do what you want with the remaining dishes and please do not count pizza as an entree dish.
Keep walking out the door
Terrible food. Terrible service. So terrible that there were stacks of dirty dishes on the tables. Big tip, go somewhere else, really.
The food was amazing.
They had so much to choose from but I have a finicky pallet and some food restriction's. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. When I asked where watermelon was located in the buffet he told me where it was. To my surprise, while I was eating he came back with a good size bowl of fresh watermelon. The desserts all looked amazing. All the special cuts of meat and seafood looked good as well. They also had a pasta area as well as oriental food. I just happened to be the right place at the right time, as I had a coupon for 1/2 off the buffet for this day. So $19.99 plus tax was a winner. It would have cost at least that in any of the restaurants and not been able to have such an amazing spread of food. Great Job
This update is specifically for the Seafood Buffet on
This update is specifically for the Seafood Buffet on Thursdays. A misguided friend of mine kept raving about the "unlimited" crab legs so eventually my husband and I decided to see if it was any good or worth the price they're charging ($59.99). In as few words as possible here's our opinion: Dumping Old Bay Seasoning in copious amounts on a multitude of overcooked varieties of seafood is a crime. Every dish looks and tastes the same with the exception of the world's skinniest and limp crab legs which were absolutely pre-cooked and then reheated in a steamer. Hardly worth the trouble trying to crack them and get a minuscule bit of rubbery crab. I'm now calling this The Seafood Destruction Buffet.

Every time I stay at the Hard Rock, I always visit the buffet at least once. The variety of delicious foods and selections is amazing. From the Raw bar to the Prime Rib carving station and several selections in between including great pizza and Chinese food station. Not to mention the extensive dessert selections including freshly made crepes and ice cream. It is a bargain for the price! The service is excellent. The servers keep the table clean and serve the included beverages immediately. The ambiance is pretty and the energy is wonderful. You can even leave with a beverage, including coffee. It's like a food orgy
We went there on New Year's Eve.
Sunday night was Steak night. The price was $59.99 each. I was totally disappointed in the selection of steak. Only a small cut of meat was the only type of steak offered. I couldn't even tell what cut it was. No top cuts at all. The Asian cuisine was salty and very little seasoned taste. The crab legs appeared to be dry, old and tough. I've been there before but I prefer breakfast over dinner. Don't think they open for breakfast anymore. Next time we will try the Borgata buffet.
Will make just paroled convicts want to go back to prison
Folks, I have been to very very many buffets. The food here is as bad as it gets. This place is all about quantity and nothing about quality. Especially disappointing when you are paying $39.95. My first time trying it and would think the Hard Rock would have certain standards. And we went at 5 PM, so not like the excuse could be that the food had been sitting around for hours. Even the desserts were really bad-how in the world does that happen? The only positive that can be said is that the number of food choices and stations were very high. Bottom line: if you want to eat a ton and want a lot if choices, this place is for you. If you care anything about taste or quality, this is the last place you want to go
GOOD FOOD ~~~ PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE....
Stopped in for dinner the other night and was seated right away with no wait. We are not big eaters, but we do like the variety of food options that they offer. Rock Royalty members gets in for 10 comp dollars per person so it is well worth it. Would recommend to others and will stop in again when we are down.
Do not go here.
Hands down the worst buffet my partner and I have ever had in our lives. The food tasted like it was made from frozen, it was tasteless, dry and mushy. The prime rib was way over done and the brisket is so dry it can probably break a window; and they force the shitty pieces on you. The ravioli was so mushy I washed it down with lemonade because I didn't want to spit it out. The dessert looked great, tastes shit; the tiramisu has been left out for so long, the cream stiffened and went dark. The lemon bar had no lemon taste, the eclair was stale and had condensation; and I've never seen a more unripe watermelon being served. Why serve this at all?? JC, this place was awful; do better. The only redeeming part of this experience was service and the soft serve - so a star for that. But also only because I have to at least provide one star.
I came for lunch, the food was good, good variety from
I came for lunch, the food was good, good variety from Chinese, Mexican, salad, American and lots of delicious desserts. Definitely will come back again.
I have been going here for five years.
The quality is going down and the price is going up. The food was lukewarm and dry and often tasteless. It used to be great. The selections seem to be less also. Management got rid of the gelato ice cream and replaced it with the same soft serve found in many employee cafeterias. I have to say Borgata buffet beats Hard Rock buffet By a mile.
You'll walk out satisfied
Great variety of foods.has pretty much what u r looking 4 including clams on half shell, salads, prime rib, padtz, pizza,Chinese fried chicken, vegetables Nd dessert and soft serve ice cream and crepes

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
