Love the staff, service and of course the food! My husband and I frequent Brenner's and always bring friends and family because it's the perfect evening setting in Houston.
The restaurant itself is gorgeous.
I have never seen such a prettier set up by buffalo bayou than this location. I only went for drinks during the happy hour and it was a very good deal for drinks around $7-$9. Service was fast! I would say though if you wanted to get real food, you the menu is more expensive. And, I believe for how nice the place is, more formal dress attire might be necessary. There is also valet parking only.
Consistently tasty
We always enjoy Brenner's. Amanda, our server, was attentive and fun. She made the evening even better! The new beet salad was terrific.
This venue is a special occasion kind of place.

love love love started off strong with the oysters.
i haven't had oysters in so long and this was so yummy. 10/10 freshness and flavor. (the wasabi paste threw my bf off LOL) got the filet mignon + garlic butter and MMMMMMM BOY SHE TASTY. perfect med rare and so tender bf got the daily cut by strip and that was also hella good. mans a steak connoisseur and he said "very very good" finished off strong with the bone marrow. OM NOM NOM literally so fire. seasonings were on point and so marrow-y and it literally melts in ur mouth
Ask to sit in Justin’s section!
Our waiter, Justin, made our experience a 12/10 at this restaurant. He was the perfect amount of attentiveness and was helpful with his recommendations. Their tequila was delicious - a must have! Everything from the vibe of the restaurant to the food was excellent. Enjoyed a nice view of the bayou and trees. Highly recommend this place, ask for Justin!
Over rated in service.
Worse service, food is good, had some om my favorites, lobster bisque, duck, crab cakes. They got to look who they hire. Will lose customers if they dont.
Great place in Downtown Houston
Great food and ambience. Quite busy for a Monday evening. The place was fancier than I had expected - definitely no shorts or flip-flops. I saw several folks with suit and tie. The food was great - the scallops for appetizer melted in the mouth. The main course lived up to the reputation of a special place to have dinner. The side of creamed spinach was delicious. The wine list is well stocked but on the expensive side. One quick note for parking - there is no free parking - the car has to be valet parking only - no that expensive - $4 valet. It would be a remiss if I did not give a shout out to Paul who took extraordinary great care of our party. Would recommend it highly - though we were north of the airport - it was a great place to have a business dinner.
25 Year Anniversary Dinner
Me and my wife had a wonderful 25 year Anniversary Dinner! Great Atmosphere, Great Customer Service and Delicious food to top it off. From the start our waitress Natalie was very friendly and detailed with the menu. She explained all of the items and was very patient. Wonderful Wonderful Customer Service and attentiveness to me and my wife. The food was very good. My Argentina Strip was cooked very well with truffle butter. My wife’s meal was delicious as well. Both Managers introduced themselves and welcomed the both of us. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience! Brian and Glenary Williams

Great dinner outing
My husband and I went to Brenner’s for my birthday this past weekend and it was a great experience! The architect is interesting, the ambiance of the outside patio is amazing, and the drinks are great. Our server, Justin, went above and beyond to recognize my birthday and make the occasion special! He was all around a great server.
Great anniversary dinner
Came here for our anniversary. We had the bang bang shrimp, beet salad, ribeye, snapper, au gratin potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious! We went down to the patio and enjoyed a late drink and cigar as well. Alexis was very attentive and served us perfectly!
Great Graduation Dinner
Great place, Austin was a phenomenal waiter and made us feel comfortable. Really brought the celebratory atmosphere. The crusted 6oz filet was great and the Texas Kisses (bacon wrapped shrimp) was great.
Super anniversary celebration
Had a wonderful dinner and dining experience yesterday evening to celebrate our 42nd anniversary! We requested a table with a view and we got exactly what we asked for in a table by a large window with a gorgeous view of the property! Our waiter, Ty, was excellent…friendly, witty, efficient and attentive. Thank you, Ty! The meal was delicious and cooked to perfection! What more could one ask for?!

My husband and I ate here for one of our date nights because we had heard so many good things about it. The Ambiance gets a 5/5. You really do feel like you are in a tree house. Unfortunately it was raining so we didn't get to enjoy the outside as much as I had wanted to. The food was good, not the very best but definitely not the worst. The service was good as well. My only issue was that we were tucked away by the restroom hall so we had people stumbling by our table frequently. Definitely recommend checking the weather so you can enjoy the grounds and outside bar area.
We came here for mother's day dinner.
The outdoor area is beautiful for pictures. The indoor area is stunning, dim lighting and great service. We ordered the argentina steak, shrimp/scallops rissoto, and the dunk leg. They were all made so perfectly. The server made is cut open the steak when they brought it out to make sure we liked the way it was cooked. We had a great time! We also got a complimentary brownie and ice cream dessert for my mom's birthday. Definitely a pricier meal but it is worth it for a special celebration!

A Houston acquaintance recommended Brenner's to us for our anniversary dinner, and are we glad she did. Everything about our experience was wonderful - the food, the service, and the atmosphere. We enjoyed the wine, crab cake, filet mignon, salmon, scallops, and bread pudding with dolce de leche ice cream - everything was delicious. When we return to Houston, we'll be sure to return to Brenner's on the Bayou.

Celebrated my one year wedding anniversary at Brenner's and I was very excited to try out their food. For starters we ordered the bang bang shrimp which was exceptional! I ordered the roasted chicken that comes with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The chicken and asparagus were so tasty! The mashed potatoes I would pass I think that ruined the whole meal for me I wished they were good but unfortunately it failed. My husband got the skirt steak and it was good as well but the potatoes that came with it were not cooked completely. The potatoes were still a bit hard which ruined the meal. For dessert we had the crème brûlée and it was delicious but the carrot cake was not it I would pass on that. On the other hand our server was amazing he was so attentive and did an exceptional job.

1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* BraveCloth47, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* BraveCloth47 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to BraveCloth47 for any questions Peter may have as BraveCloth47 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* BraveCloth47 now uses their connections at Brenner's on the Bayou Houston to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If BraveCloth47 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, BraveCloth47 receives the $200 reward which is credited to BraveCloth47's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Brenner's on the Bayou Houston!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
